Just your garden variety "Tea Party" candidate.

I swear my man racism is slowing down in his old age. It's getting too damn easy to chase him these days:

"Republican Party leaders in central Illinois are calling on their own candidate for state senate to step down following racist remarks he made at a candidate’s forum last week.

Al Reynolds, who is considered the Tea Party candidate in Illinois’ 52nd District, has been unavailable to the media since saying that African American men preferred dealing drugs to going to college, because it is “easier.”

'I’ve been in the city and the dichotomy of the women and the men in the minorities, there is a difference in the fact that most minority women, either the single parent or coming from a poor neighborhood, are motivated more so than the minority men,' Reynolds said, when asked what he would do to increase diversity at state colleges. 'And it’s a pretty good reason. Most of the women who are single parents have to find work to support their family. The minority men find it more lucrative to be able to do drugs or other avenues rather than do education. It’s easier.”' [More]

Oh my! Mr. Reynolds, it looks like some of those drug dealing black men have been allowing you to sample their products.

Don't you just love when certain people show their true colors? [h/t NewsOne]

He's not all together wrong Field. Sad to say but too often true. We as blacks need to stop running behind every white person who tells us the truth about ourselves. If Bill Cosby had said it you'd be behind him. We are too worried about what the man is saying about us and not worried enough about improving our truths/lives/children's lives. Stop this over sensitivity and move on with doing better.

Field,

I'm sad to say I used to live in Central Illinois. Sometimes I thought I was in Selma back in the day. Your House Negro of the day is on point. Many people, Black and White died for our right to vote. But in our community there seems to be questions or issues during election time in terms of turnout. Us (African Americans) voting SHOULD be automatic.

Anonymous said...

Field, he's right. Hell, You even posted a Wacka Flocka video that proved it. A rap parody that praised bm who degraded and demeaned our President, his wife, his children, and bw- while using the N-word and smoking weed and crack throughout the video says a lot about bm...they don't care and are becoming useless by the day.

The Tea Party candidate was merely expanding the negative image of bm to help his cause in ILL. That IS the common image Americans have of bm. Otherwise, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

The question is what can we do about bm to instill some self-worth and self-dignity in bm,-- instead of crying racism all of the time?

This downward spiral accelerated after the Million Man March that you attended. You see, thus far bm continue to prove that they are ALL mouth, including Obama. OH MY!

Hell, as bm I've said what Mr. Reynolds has said on occasion because it is true. Reynolds is a racist, but he is a truthful racist.

That doesn't make him any less of a racist, but sometimes our enemies can tell us about ourselves whereas our so-called friends won't. In this case, it is a good thing to hear the truth from an enemy, if we are willing to examinine ourselves-which in all probability we bm are NOT. Our M-O is to deny, deny, deny and deny some more. Of course, nothing changes for the better because of our denial. In fact, it gets worse.

But hey, who cares, besides Mellaneous?

Anon it makes sense that you might want to remain anonymous, because your comments don't make sense.

The problem with what was said is not that there are indeed some black young men who may find it easier to sell dope than to get a job. (Easier could mean because it is indeed easier or that it is easier than getting a legitimate job especially if the said black man has a criminal record.)

The problem anon is not with the fact that it might be true for a very small minority, the problem is that he painted ALL BLACK MALES WITH THE SAME BRUSH.

And it wasn't an accidental or slip of the tongue, he meant it in the way he put it out there because he tried to seperate black women from black men. He was talking about you and any other black man you know. Both groups for the most part are indeed as hardworking as any other male and female tandem.

There is nothing that he said that is true or worth defending. It was backwards and definitely doesn't help increase understanding among the races. And worse yet he wants to represent an area that includes blacks as well. Do you really think that he wants to represent people he thinks are not worth doing anything for?

And this has nothing to do with the "man" because this guy is not "the man." He is just another middle class white guy spouting racist propaganda.

But to your point about the "Man," which for most people means the system,it does indeed distribute unequal opportunity especially for the black male.

Need examples? Racial profiling, looking for drugs in the black community while study after study prove that whites use drugs in much larger quantity than blacks, but enforcement is aimed at the black community almost exclusively.

And lets look at the unequal educational system. And there is still discrimination in employment. A recent study showed that a white male with a record with the same qualifications as a black man without a record is much more likely to be hired over the black man.

So what's really needed anon is more equal opportunity and not wrong headed sideline comments from folks who clearly don't know what they are talking about, or is caught up in self hate and victim blaming.

And BTW it would be just as wrong if it came out of Cosby's mouth.

Field you need any more convincing that this election is "The Greatest Show on Earth" You just pointed out another CLOWN!

This statement is true, but it should not have been said by wm. It should have been said by a bm long ago.

Reynolds said, "We need to provide ways that are more incentive, other than just sports avenues, for the men for the minorities to want to go to college and get an education and better themselves before the women have to support them all."

Of course. That is also a true statement. It's people like Reynolds who I would like to see in office because those sorry ass Dems won't DO anything to motivate bm. They like weak bm.

Mark my words. There is going to be a GOP and Tea Party rout on Nov2. And I don't think Blacks who will be voting on election day will be voting straight Democrat, either.

The war against black men continues, accelerated by the outrage in certain quarters towards a black man being the nominal leader of the so-called free world.

This anonymous pantload is offended by a 15 year old peaceful and reflective gathering of 1 million black men on the DC Mall.

WHY?

Because people like him/her know in their hearts that the black man is the most feared, discussed, creative and indomitable being on the planet.

That's why they work so hard to try to keep us down.

Wrong again anon. I don't really care what a redneck says, but it doesn't help when folks spew this kind of non sense. And he didn't say that a few of you Negroes find it easier to sell drugs, he implied that this was true of all Black folks.

This is the kind of propaganda that tries to convince others that black folks don't need social services or other services that may help them get a leg up. Because after all they are failing not because in many instances they have been denied equal opportunity, but because they are lazy.

This is the same old racist crap that has been around forever that is used to cover up the real causes of poverty and joblessness in the black community.

Only the blind or the willfully ignorant don't recognize this for what it is. You can own these lies all you want.

There have always been some black folks willing to scratch where they didn't itch, or grin on cue.

what doesn't make sense is for anyone with common sense to believe that ALL black men fall into the profile that Mr. Reynolds has outlined. Again too worrieed about the opinion of others and what they think and have to say. Classic inferiority complex. Black man and woman's burden that they cannot shake. Are you seeking this man's approval. Who is he to you? Is he greater than you? Does he have the ability to move mountains. Ignore him. Take the opportunity to prove him/them wrong versus feeding his frenzy and giving him more energy. Unfortunately, many of us are followers and choose to take the low road because it's easier to scale. We worry about image and how we're perceived and always succeed at missing the big picture. You can blame the systems all you want but if not for those systems the lot of our communities would be even worse.

Every last one down to the millionth man missed the damn point. That's why we are having this discussion today where bm such as yourself will deny your ass off.

BTW, there isn't such a small percentage of bm 'out there' on drugs. There a lot of bm on drugs and have abandoned their families. Surely you see plenty of single bw trying to take care of her children without fathers?

Tell me, brotha mellaneous...where the hell are all of those missing fathers?

FYI-Those of us bm who take care of their families and work hard are the 'small percentage'. It's NOT the other way around as you would have it. I would think you would know that. But again, maybe you are in such 'denial" that you can't see the truth? The truth is always ugly when you have tried to cover it up with denial. In fact, it stinks to high heaven. Or the one that was complicit in keeping black folks from voting? Or the one that sat silent as black women were being raped at will by racist?
Or the one that provided unequal education to black folks and still continues to do so in most inner city communities?
Or the one that had to be forced through lawsuits and protest to hire black folks to even menial jobs?
Or the one that that was complicit in the murder of black folks who were fighting for equal opportunity in this good old system you speak of?
Or the one that declared a war on drugs --I mean black folks?

But this attitude is not race specific. It infects whites, browns, and yes, some blacks. Some folk, namely Native Americans, mostly choose to remain to themselves, rather than contribute to the financial success, or material wealth, of their oppressors, or to dilute their centuries-old culture with theirs.

I'm guessing Black people are supposed to admit defeat by accepting their "lazyness" and any other negative trait that Whites attribute to them. The idealistic conservative anon will chime in at this point and say the next step is Blacks "pulling themselves up by their bootstraps" and "joining the rest of society", with the inevitable comparison of Blacks against recent immigrants. "See? Those people did it, why can't you?"

I'm guessing the real answer that no one wants to admit is that they'd rather see the Black community disappear with as little traces left as possible. Of course a few attractive shards of your culture can remain so they can serve as museum pieces and tourist trinkets, a al Native Americans. At best, they'd rather see Black culture go back to behaving like the help in the back of the kitchen -- never seen, seldom heard, always working. As long as Blacks continue to prep the plates and send out those attractive dinners to their White counterparts, Whites will continue to consider them a valuable, yet quiet and trouble-free asset to this great nation of ours (sic).

Time to blow this 'more Black men in prison than college' lie up

According to a report issued in 2001 by the American Council on Education, 635,198 Black men attended higher education institutions in 2001 (the vast majority of which were 18-24).

Of the 803,400 Black men in the nation’s state and federal prisons and local jails in 2001, just 189,200 were 18 to 24 years old, the prime age of collegiate men.

Nearly 76 percent of these Black male inmates were 25 and older, the Bureau of Justice Statistics reported.

That means there are more than three times as many black men aged 18-24 in college than there are in jail.

An analysis of Al Reynolds remarks reveals a disturbing perception, a common one, perhaps, among many whites.

"Most of the women who are single parents have to find work to support their family. The minority men find it more lucrative to be able to do drugs or other avenues rather than do education. It's easier."

First, Reynolds discounts the notion that black women would prefer welfare to work, as a way to provide the material means to rear a child (a commonly held white belief), but then he quickly affirms the black male stereotype, defining him as shiftless, with a propensity for crime, and a distaste for "education."

This appears to be a calculated move to pit the black woman against the black man, and, by feigning sympathy ("I'm one who understands your plight!"), to win her vote, as well, if she buys into Reynold's black male, black woman "dichotomy."

Reynolds muddles his argument, however, by stating that the selling of drugs, and "other avenues" are not only "more lucrative," they're "easier" than pursuing an education.

Note, this statement comes on the heels of a question to which Reynolds was responding, to wit: "what he [Reynold's] would do to increase diversity at state colleges."

If, indeed, selling drugs and "other avenues" provide a larger income than the traditional path to success, what incentive is there for young black men to attend college, oftentimes at great expense (thousands of dollars in loans of one kind or another), and potentially little reward when they graduate, if they're forced to compete in a marketplace that's crowded with those of various ethnicities that may not like them because of their color, or feel threatened by the presence of upwardly-mobile black men.

Now, let's define "easier": It's "easier," because of the extra burden that blacks must bear (racism in the workplace, if they get that far, and racism during the hiring process, if they can get the interview in the first place to tout their value).

Because more obstacles are strewn in their path, either to discourage participation, or to assure their failure once hired ("I hope he fails." Sound familiar?), Reynolds would have presented a more credible answer to the question had he suggested ways to stamp out the virulence of racism in society as the primary means of "increasing diversity at state colleges."

But, as the Tea Party candidate, such a statement coming from Reynolds would have been antithetical to his Tea Party philosophy, would have called his Tea Party credentials into question, and would have flown in the face of another Tea Party faithful, Rand Paul, who would, if he could, excise certain portions of the Civil Rights Act with which he disagrees.

And what does Reynolds' statement say about the state of the nation, when selling drugs on street corners can be "more lucrative" than sitting daily in a classroom in pursuit of a 8 x 11 sheepskin of dubious value.

For one, what is it about the "pursuit of happiness," and the American Dream that a large number of us pursuers resort to finding them in plants--a weed, poppies found on the other side of the world, coca leaves, or the distillation of corn, rye, or barley?

In addition, Reynolds' statement fails to address those at the top of the pyramid, who, as it turns out, are mostly white. They are the ones who are mainly responsible for bringing drugs into the country, from near and far, and whose take would make black pushers lucrative paydays look like chump change.

How much education do these top feeders have? I don't see anyone bemoaning their lack of education, their moral turpitude, or willingness to prey upon the weak, and vulnerable, to stuff their pockets with Benjamins, or cram safe-deposit boxes with gold and jewelry.

Money, it seems, not only "covers a multitude of sins," it can whitewash you so clean (Koch brothers' philanthropy, for example), that no one cares if you're educated, speak with erudition, or use the King's English flawlessly.

Do not take my analysis as an apology for the pursuit of illegal means to a "lucrative" lifestyle, whether it's by selling drugs as pushers, heading up a drug cartel, or otherwise facilitating the bringing of drugs into this country, or using one's vast network of connections to deliver to the American people the "happiness" that's as elusive, and as fleeting, as the details of the America Dream, as one gradually awakens from a deep slumber.

I've said a while back that "race" is only a construct set up to categorise and otherwise divide people into more managable boxes. From the sounds of your little rant about how "Black" you are, it seems you've fell for it, hook line and sinker.

"Now try to "focus" on what is true and what is not true of what Mr. Reynolds "said" instead of "who" he is. When you do that, and review what anons have said, you won't get caught up in who's who, and deal with the message instead of your imagined white anons, fool."

You can listen to Mr. Reynolds' message and accept it at full face value, not realizing the undertones defining the reason he said it. Anyone can take a truth and use it to drive a shank in the back of the group for whom it's directed to. In essence, Reynolds is scoring points with the "'Merican" voting demographic that loves hearing politicians blame minorities for society's ills -- and he managed to do with by stating a somewhat valid fact. It's a two-for-one: show yourself as an individual concerned with the plight of minority groups while taking pot shots at them for the amusement of the corn pone eating "'Merican" demographic. Shake a man's hand with one, stab him in the back with the other. And as a typical House Negro who constantly accepts all fault with his kind as given by Whites and one who seeks to distance himself from his fellow Negros, you bought into Reynolds' message, hook line and sinker.

If you were a little kid, you wouldn't care if the nice man giving you candy had dipped it in poison beforehand because, well, it's candy and it's yummy!

Field, "BD, as usual, you came deep."

Why don't you acknowledge the 'deep' insights of Anons? I think you are being biased. We deserve credit and respect, also. Stop treating us like we are a Black Rodney Dangerfield.

WE Anons work our asses off for FN Blog--esp. on the weekends--while your resident IDs go out and run up and down the local strip on Friday and Saturday nights drinking and looking for special deals on discounted lap dances.

Then they show up shitfaced on FN-bitch and call Anons "trolls" for supporting FN blog while they were out wetting in their under shorts.

Yeah, I said it. And you resident ID complainers know who you are, cause even your Christian family members have told you about it. FN Resident IDs, who do this every weekend- like Gregory and MackLying are enough to make Santa Claus shout out, "F*** it! I am not delivering shit this year!"

Let me say that Anons love your blog, and YOU too.... But some resident IDs are quite mean and abusive. Maybe the CEO/President of Anon, Inc should have a sit down with YOU about this?:) BTW, we had to upgrade his title in order to pay him more. It turns out that he was being underpaid by $15mil, compared to his Wall Street friends. I am glad we gave him that modest increase in pay because Anon Inc might have lost him.

Mr. Field, may I offer a suggestion that could help solve the problem of abusive resident IDs? I suggest that you hire someone to police their asses?

BTW, I am available, and would gladly accept the job... Rest assured that I am completely unbiased and fair-minded.:)

The truth can be ugly at times. It can hurt at times because people have refused to align themselves with the truth for generations. That is where Blacks are today and they still deny the truth out of habit. A funny thing about truth: it won't be 'denied' and the longer you try to keep it covered up the more foul smelling it becomes. In the end, truth always pops up in the strangest mouthpieces at the most inconvenient time.

Whatever Reynolds' political motives or intentions, at least he told the truth. Let it be a reminder that Blacks have plenty of work to do to turn things around for bm and bw. It doesn't take a genius to note the plight of the Black race and its men, as well as women.

Yet, there are Blacks who continue to lie to themselves- then can whitey a racist for telling them the truth. And please sistas and brothas spare me the slavery story as if there is no hope. When will Blacks get to the point where they say, "hey, we can be all we can be...let's leave that slavery shit behind, and turn this mother around and win the game of life!"

Nope. You got Zing, Granny, Gregory, Mack Lying, UTS, and a host of others whining like permanent victims "forever". Well, count me out...I am sick and tired of the bullshit.

Any fool can see it is up to US to change it...no White person can stop that if Blacks as a race were determined 'in unity' to become a better race.

Mack Lyons said...

"Nope. You got Zing, Granny, Gregory, Mack Lying, UTS, and a host of others whining like permanent victims "forever". Well, count me out...I am sick and tired of the bullshit."

I don't quite get your logic. The exposure of Reynolds' two-faced "truth-telling" and our inclination to call out "truthful" Anons and the conservatives they seem to idolize is grounds for calling me and others "permanent victims"? I told you I don't have much respect for you anons. You killed it the moment you opened up with the name calling -- a hallmark of someone who can't stand up in a debate. "Mack Lying"? How cute of you...

To say that Blacks are lying to themselves because they aren't willing to swallow whatever negative descriptor Whites come up with....it doesn't make much sense. Perhaps you want other Blacks to join you in your hatred of self. Perhaps you, somewhere deep down, wish you were White so you won't have to be associated with what you see as a race of "failures". That's your problem and you will have to deal with that on your own, someday.

"When will Blacks get to the point where they say, "hey, we can be all we can be...let's leave that slavery shit behind, and turn this mother around and win the game of life!""

We're more than willing to leave "the past" behind when the rest of the world:
- stops perpetuating the stereotypical vision of Black behavior
- stops interfering in our social and economic progress
- stops "dividing and conquering" our people by setting our men and women folk against one another
- stops indulging in the fantasy of re-relegating Blacks back into their former "service class" roles and second-class citizenship status
- stops supporting organizations that exercise open bigotry on a number of levels towards Blacks
- stops recruiting "Uncle Toms" and other assorted House Niggers to attack their own people from within

Should I go on? I could, but that'd take all fucking day.

Sounds like your CEO isn't working out for you. I suggest you get your little board members together and oust his ass. WE Anons work our asses off for FN Blog--esp. on the weekends--while your resident IDs go out and run up and down the local strip on Friday and Saturday nights drinking and looking for special deals on discounted lap dances.

Yeah, you work your ass off throwing out demeaning, condescending,low-life assuming insults in your attempts to define us as in the one I'm replying to up above because we don't fall in line like a good negro and agree. And you think that no one is suppose to respond and just eat it all up while praising you for insulting us. Then you have the nerve to come to Field's house and insult him showing a lack of manners or decorum when if you don't like what is being said by him you can always go spend time at another blog that is more suitable to your taste. There are plenty of ass-kissing blogs on the web that might suit your taste.

Sorry, to inform you, but I keep a clear head at all times. I wouldn't even know what a lap dance or strip joint looks like. One thing about it, we're not getting paid to sit in front of a computer 24/7 to try disrupt, start confusion, and destroy a black blog as you are.

When will Blacks get to the point where they say, "hey, we can be all we can be...let's leave that slavery shit behind, and turn this mother around and win the game of life!"

Yeah, we can be all we can be that is if people like you would stop playing the blame black and brown folks game and trying to hide your underlying motives of the usual using black and brown people for the scapegoat of what ails America. After all, we're not exactly the people who have been in power over 400 years; therefore, we haven't exactly had to the power to start unnecessary wars, corrupt the financial system, build prison plantations, make sure that education is only of poor quality in minority neighborhoods by rigging the system, the uneven distribution of taxes or money in neighborhoods, or carefully rigging the laws to be unjustly in favor of a certain color group and used as a tool to block empowerment in minority communities and a host of other little deceitful cheating devises in the American system.

Nope. You got Zing, Granny, Gregory, Mack Lying, UTS, and a host of others whining like permanent victims "forever".

Puleeze, whining permanent victims? Hahahaahaha, now that is real rich considering that the rightwing folks have been whining their asses off with that old tired song take back our country or follow our constitutiton, which by the way they want to get rid of completely and go back to good ole days of June Cleaver and Leave it to Beaver. Thanks but no thanks, I'd rather stand up and fight to maintain my freedoms instead of acting like that mythical docile slave that you would love for us to be heaping praises on all of the destruction that the rightwing folks wish to continue doing. Well, that mythological docile slave that you talk about is the reason Africans remained slaves for as long as they did. Obviously, very few were willing to stand up and fight for their freedom. I wonder

It wasn't a black slave revolt that freed them, it was the White Yankees from the North who freed the slaves. Being Black, I have often wondered why there was not a fierceness in the souls of Blacks to refuse to be slaves? Had it been the case, America might be totally different today and Blacks might have the self-dignity in them that was imprinted in their spiritual DNA.

Maybe you have a wish of your own, about mythological Blacks standing up fighting for their freedom? I have, at times, had that also. But as I look at the history of America, that image is false and not the case. It always begs the question 'in me': "Why didn't they fight instead of settling to be slaves? Had they done that they might have saved both the Blacks and Whites from the agony of racism today.

So your 400 years of slavery doesn't just lie with Whites, it lies with Blacks as well. I am angry and sad about slavery, Jim Crow. I am angry at Whites for the evil of enslaving my ancestors and I am angry and sad at my ancestors for not having to courage to refuse to be anybody's slave:

"Give me liberty or give me death", should have been their cry in the faces of the Whites who wanted to enslave them. For it was the words of Whites themselves who said it in their fight for freedom.

I know my history too and if I recall correctly those yankees were losing the war until they gave those black slaves some guns and let them help them fight. That's when the tide turned so don't write off all blacks as cowards because that is not true. The reason they sold many of the slaves was because they couldn't handle them and they were defiant. So, it wasn't just those yankees that freed the slaves. There were many black slaves that helped in freeing their people during the civil war and that shed their blood too. Therefore, let's give them some credit as well instead of acting like they did nothing to help free themselves.

BTW, all slaves were not docile and did stand up and fight back, but like you said there were not enough of them. So, we can't label all of them with a lack of dignity because many of them had dignity and courage. Maria W. Steward, a black woman stood up on a soapbox and preach against slavery during slavery and in a time when it a woman had no rights or was allow to speak in public. David Walker was another black man that preach against slavery during slavery. And there are many others. I wouldn't exactly call them docile and lacking courage.

The reaon they remained slaves was because politicians owned slaves and were protecting their own self-interest. Blacks were obeying the laws because to do otherwise meant instant death or separation from their families. Another thing only a fool would go up against someone with a gun and they don't have one.

GrannyStandingforTruth said...

BTW, a gun gives a false appearance of bravery and courage.

I wonder, too, why you don't get your facts straight before you attempt to strong-arm, browbeat, and slam our black women on this blog.

But I'm your huckleberry.

Here're the facts. You know, the stuff of reality, rather than fantasy...Anons stock and trade:

Slave Rebellions and Uprisings in the United States

One of the most distressing and violent aspects of American history was the institution of slavery. For over two hundred years, Africans were brought against their will to Britain's American colonies and to the new United States of America. One historian (Herbert Aptheker), calculated that over two hundred separate slave revolts and conspiracies took place from the 1600's to the end of the U.S. Civil War in 1865.

In addition to the major rebellions listed below, many slaves took part in acts of individual opposition to their slave status. These actions included purposely damaging tools, working slowly, burning down buildings and the occasional act of violence against whites. Of course, an effective way to gain personal freedom, while also hurting their owner economically, was to to attempt escape. Prior to Florida's annexation by the United States, many slaves escaped to that area and set up free communities.

Get an education...you'd be surpised what it'll do for that racist dispostion of yours.

You are sooo dramatic and grandiose. And if I were a racist, which I am not, all of the education in the world wouldn't make a difference. You are proof that education doesn't change a self-centered character.

Because my views are quite different from your narcissistic views does not make me a racist. But you might 'try' a little self-examination to see if the 'racist' you see in me might be coming from you.

And who made you Lord over bw? In a prior post, you were standing up for that filthy degrading rap of Wacka Flocka. And now you accuse me of slamming bw? I respectfully suggest you take your self-righteous criticism of other bm regarding bw and shove it. There have been several discussions about how bm treat bw, and your dingy ass was never in ONE of them.

Granny, "I'll tell you what had it been an even playing field and blacks would have been just as well equipped with guns as whites were back during slavery, it would have been a completely different story."

"If" is a short but big word. During my many years on earth, life has proven to be not fair. Therefore, I have concluded that an 'even' playing field is a rare momment in time-"if" it ever happens.

So "if" Blacks or any other minority are waiting for an even playing field, forget it. It won't happen. You can bet the Latinos, Mexicans, Asians, and Muslims aren't waiting around for that.

Many become great by courageously going against the odds... not waiting hoping for things to be just right for a sure win.

Man up! I'm your size, and more than your equal. Yeah, I said it! Think what I could do if I really unleashed the weight of my full intellectual prowess against your diminutive brain?

Yes...you're racist. What person in their right mind (maybe that's the problem...too right of center) would pick a fight with Granny, our venerable and venerated extended-family Grandmother, on a black blog, and pretend to be anything other than racist.

You have consistently showed your true colors, and they're not red, white, and blue, but pillowcase white.

And in the future get your facts straight, if you're going to malign me, and arrogate to me statements that are as full of holes as your sieve of a brain. If you're going to attack me, do so from a place of facts, not fiction:

You know more about Wacka Flocka than I care to know. Unlike you, I've never heard of them, and I challenge you to prove otherwise. Can't? I thought so.

And why should I worry about you? All you have in your puny arsenal are insults, which you hurl because you have nothing of substance in your mental quiver with which to stand and fight.

So what do you do instead...pick fights with Granny. Now that's a brave stance. That's a bold statement about who you are down deep within the recesses of your benighted soul. That's a gentle thing to do. No gentility? I thought so.

Apologize to Granny for being such a ninny, then I might cut you some slack. If not, I got you on my radar. I'm pointing two fingers to my eyes, and now back at you. Dear Zing, has it ever occurred to you that maybe Granny is capable of taking care of herself and does not need your "savior complex" intervention in her life?

That means they will resent you jumping in their business like you know what's best for them. You have no right to interfere in Granny's life arguments with me that has been ongoing.

The more you comment, the more you reveal just how sick you are. You seem to be a worshipper of the intellect, which has nothing to do with good character. In addition, most intellectual people don't have to prove their intelligence on FN blog. But you do. That makes you a farce.
