In case you didn't know, the state of New Jersey is officially shut down. It seems that trump's man in Trenton is fighting lawmakers over some issues having to do with the budget.

Now this wouldn't be such a big deal, but it's the 4th of July weekend, and some of the public beaches and picnic areas that are usually opened to the public are now closed to everyone. Well... almost everyone.

"While state parks were closed to the public, Christie said at a news conference at the governor’s office in Trenton on Sunday that he joined his family at Island Beach State Park this weekend, traveling by the taxpayer-funded state helicopter.

“I traveled there, and I traveled back, and I’ll travel back again by helicopter,” Christie said.

“That’s where my family is sleeping, so that’s where I’ll sleep tonight. When I have a choice between sleeping with my family or sleeping alone, I generally like to sleep where my family is.”

The governor said there were no lifeguard or trash pickup services for his family. He would not say whether his family was able to swim without lifeguards present.

The shutdown began at 12:01 a.m. Saturday. The state constitution does not provide for short-term spending measures, meaning it must pass a budget for fiscal year 2018 for the government to reopen and provide full services." [Source]

You can't make this stuff up. While the entire state is shut down and its residence can't even enjoy the holidays at one of its public beaches, the governor and his family helicopter back and forth to the  shore. Nice!

Governor Christie will fits right in with the trump administration.

Speaking of trump (I was hoping to avid tweeting about him tonight, but he makes it so hard for me.), did you all see where he did  a wresting style video of himself beating down a man with a CNN head?

Yes, your president really did that.

And I am sorry, but if you are not embarrassed by this man's behavior by now, I am embarrassed for you.

Not all eyewitnesses are the same.

I swear I am not making this up. A pundit on CNN was explaining this evening that now that two white witnesses have come forward to say that they saw Michael Brown with his hands raised before he was shot; it could be problematic for Officer Wilson.


The host, Wolf Blitzer, nodded his head in agreement. They went on to admit (and I am paraphrasing here) that these witnesses lend credibility to the other eyewitness accounts because they did not have a dog in the fight.  


Of course we all know the real reason that these two construction workers will be found more credible than the residence of Ferguson. If you guessed the color of their skin please move to the head of the class.


All those Negroes just cannot be trusted with their version of the story. They are too biased, and they are.....well.....Negroes.


"Two men, shocked at what they saw, describe an unarmed teenager with his hands up in the air as he's gunned down by a police officer.

They were contractors doing construction work in Ferguson, Missouri, on the day Michael Brown was killed.

And the men, who asked not to be identified after CNN contacted them, said they were about 50 feet away from Officer Darren Wilson when he opened fire.

An exclusive cell phone video captures their reactions during the moments just after the shooting.

Those Negroes in Ferguson could not have done it without you. 

"Et tu" Scott Walker ?

The next presidential election is a couple of years away, and, as of now, the two most attractive republican candidates probably wish that it was further away than that.


Not to be outdone by Chris Christie, Scott Walker has also entered the world of political scandal and intrigue.

"When it comes to political corruption, New Jersey and Wisconsin are rarely mentioned in the same sentence. But a raft of emails released by a state appeals court judge Wednesday have Badger State governor Scott Walker facing some of the same questions as his embattled Garden State counterpart, Chris Christie.

Even if Walker is not eventually implicated of any wrongdoing, the documents released Wednesday, as well as other information arising from a pair of criminal cases related to his rise from Milwaukee County Executive to Governor of Wisconsin raise some troubling questions about his choice of personnel and his awareness  -- or lack thereof -- of what was going on in his own office.

Much has been written and said about Walker as the Republican reformer who successfully beat back labor unions over collective bargaining in a blue state and handily survived a recall election that positioned him for a possible run for president in 2016.  Until now, however, there has been relatively little attention paid – outside Wisconsin – to the criminal conduct of many who surrounded him.

The more than 25,000 pages of e-mails released on Wednesday were gathered as part of a now-concluded investigation that led to conviction of Kelly Rindfleisch, a former Walker deputy chief of staff, on charges that she essentially worked as a campaign staffer for a Republican candidate for lieutenant governor while on the clock in Walker’s office." I will give it to these republican governors; they sure know how to cover their tracks. Right now there is a lot of smoke but no fire. So, for now, Scott Walker and Chris Christie will live to see another political day. For now.


Let's see where these investigations take us. If they take us all the way to 2016, Jeb, Ted, and Rand will be cheering the loudest.


Finally, one of the two black jurors in the Dunn case has come forward to say that race was not a factor in the way that they deliberated and came up with a verdict.


"'I never once thought about, ‘Oh, this was a black kid, this was a white guy.’ Because that was – that wasn’t the case,' juror number 8, aged 21, told CNN reporter Alina Machado.


'So, for people who say, you know, here’s another white guy who got away with shooting and killing a black kid, what would you tell them?..' 


'I would tell them that they really should knowledge themselves on the law,' Miles replied.


“If this case wasn’t about race for you, what was it about?' the CNN reporter followed up.


'It was about justice,' juror number 8 responded" [Source]


Lord have mercy! Some of these Negroes really need a clue. Lady, you tell us that we need to "knowledge" ourselves about the law, but I dare say that maybe it's you who needs to get some knowledge about where you live and the people you live around.


You can't see what is in the hearts or minds of your fellow jurors, so you can't sit on national television and declare that race did not play a role in the verdict.


I mean did you honestly expect one of the white jurors to openly declare that there is no way that they can convict a white man of shooting a black teenager when they totally empathize with what he must have been feeling?

Another chef cooking up the N-word.

Sometimes you just have to back off that racism chase. Every chase just isn't worth it. (Like Sarah's“Lax-a-daisical,” comment.) I have to save my racism chasing legs for real racism.

Take the case of FOX Master Chef contestant, Krissi Biasiello. (In picture) I know that like another more famous white female chef, she was caught dropping the N-word, but Krissi being a racist shouldn't be worth a chase from the kid. Krissi does not have the power or the influence of Paula Deen, so she is basically just another racist in America. (Yawn) Her N-word is getting attention because she is on a popular television show.

A reporter for the Philadelphia Daily News unearthed the two now-deleted tweets showing MasterChef contestant Krissi Biasiello making some pretty derogatory comments last year.
“[W]hy do the [Philadelphia] 76ers keep coming up in my who to follow,” she asked in the first tweet from 2012. “i HATE basketball. NBA = Niggers Bouncing Around,” she explained, punctuated with a “#thatsracist” hashtag. [Tweet image below edited by Daily News reporter.] 

In another tweet from July 2012, Biasiello wrote: “Better make sure you’re on top when sleeping with a black guy … Otherwise it’s probably rape.” The tweet links to what seems to be a ChaCha poll on whether you prefer to be on the “top” or “bottom” during sex.

Biasiello is a 34-year-old paralegal based out of Philadelphia. She is currently placed within the top 11 contestants on this fourth season of MasterChef, a competitive cooking reality program co-hosted by Gordon Ramsay.

I see you Krissi, and if you are sleeping with someone, be they black or white; let me say for the record that they deserve a medal of honor. Just saying.

Finally, CNN is examining the N-word tonight, and Don Lemon promoted the program by holding up an "index card" with the word "Nigger" on it. CNN, always looking for a ratings edge, is trying to cash in on the N-word being all over the news of late. I suspect that FOX will give the N-word their own special treatment next:

"Why can blacks say the word "Nigger" and we can't? That is not fair. If blacks can say the word Nigger to each other then so can we."

I think that you will be hearing a lot of that on Don's program. I know his position about the use of the word among blacks; he is against it.

But do we really need an entire cable news program dedicated to the N-word? Clearly the CNN bean counters believe that we do.

I can't believe it! Finally a news organization in this country investigates the birther charges against O and guess what they found? Nothing. Yes, it seems that he was born in this country.

I caught some of Gary Tuchman's report earlier, and my man did real journalist proud with his report. He interviewed the republican who is the former director of Hawaii's department of health, and guess what she said? That she did see the actual birth certificate. He interviewed other officials and journalist in Hawaii as well, and, I hate to disappoint you wingnuts, but there is nothing there. Looks like you are going to be stuck with his O ness for awhile.

I wonder if CNN would would allow FOX NEWS to dedicate an hour or so out of their programming and carry the CNN report? I am sure that some type of fee arrangement could be worked out. Let's face it, there is no other way to reach the wingnuts in this country. They sure as hell would never watch anything on CNN.

Will this put to rest all of this birther talk? (Shout out to Warren Olney on public radio in L.A. I was on his program today, and, as usual, he was a class act.) I doubt it. I know President Obama doesn't want it to stop. (Independents. Independents. Independents.) It's great for him when the people who hate him most are certifiable lunatics.

Anyway, now that the birther issue has been debunked; we have a new one: The "graders".
