Free the Rockettes.

 I have never been a fan of the Radio City Rockettes. I saw them  once as a youngster while visiting New York, and I was like,...eh.  

Still, it's hard not to feel sorry for them these days, given the fact that they are being held hostage and forced to perform for the inauguration of Herr trump.

Apparently team trump has been having a hard time finding  A-list performers for his big day, and he is not too pleased about it. The tweeter in chief let his feelings be known in no uncertain terms, recently.

Sorry Donald, "the people" can't sing and dance. And I suspect that you would be singing (pun intended) a different tune if Elton John and all  the other A- listers you invited had accepted your invitation.

“I usually don’t use social media to make a political stand but I feel overwhelmed with emotion. Finding out that it has been decided for us that Rockettes will be performing at the Presidential inauguration makes me feel embarrassed and disappointed. The women I work with are intelligent and are full of love and the decision of performing for a man that stands for everything we’re against is appalling. The Rockettes will have to suck it up and kick up their legs for the country. 

There is one silver lining, though. The Donald will  not be allowed to go backstage and harass them. 

Too many people will be watching.
