The day after.

Image result for orlando shooter images   I would like to start this post by telling the nominee for president of a major political party in this country that "Afghan" is not a country. Also, I doubt seriously that the president is some kind of secret Muslim who is trying to undermine everything America stands for.

“Look, we’re led by a man that either is not tough, not smart, or he’s got something else in mind,” the presumptive Republican presidential nominee declared. “And the something else in mind—you know, people can't believe it. People cannot, they cannot believe that President Obama is acting the way he acts and can’t even mention the words ‘radical Islamic terrorism.’ There’s something going on. It’s inconceivable. There’s something going on.”

So anyway, it's the day after the mass murder of club goers in Orlando, and, as is to be expected, the usual suspects are playing politic games with the tragedy.

Donald trump has been all over the news and he has been telling everyone who will listen that he has the magic bullet to stop terrorism and keep those evil Muslims in check. But does he? From all accounts Isis and similar groups have been using trump's cartoonish mug for recruiting purposes and using his words to fire up young Jihadist fighters.

It's scary to think what type of fight against terror a president trump will  coordinate. He already has some loopy plans that are not grounded in reality.

"Without distinguishing between mainstream Muslims and Islamist terrorists, Mr. Trump suggested that all Muslim immigrants posed potential threats to America’s security and called for a ban on migrants from any part of the world with “a proven history of terrorism” against the United States or its allies. He also insinuated that American Muslims were all but complicit in acts of domestic terrorism for failing to report attacks in advance, asserting without evidence that they had warnings of shootings like the one in Orlando.

Mr. Trump’s speech, delivered at St. Anselm College in Manchester, N.H., represented an extraordinary break from the longstanding rhetorical norms of American presidential nominees. But if his language more closely resembled a European nationalist’s than a mainstream Republican’s, he was wagering that voters are stirred more by their fears of Islamic terrorism than any concerns they may have about his flouting traditions of tolerance and respect for religious diversity." Fear is a powerful thing, and it can lead good people to make bad choices. Mr. trump is counting on it.

And Hillary Clinton is falling into the trap of not controlling the conversation. She will have to do better than trite rehearsed uninspiring responses "an act of terror" "an act of hate" "weapons of war have no place on our streets" "Trump has no real plans". She has to call out Butt Trumpet as the loudmouth punk who hates Muslims that he is, and that trampling the rights of a powerless minority that no one gives a shit about may be cathartic and brutally effective but not how we roll as Americans.

And Trump will have to do better than trying the same old batshit insane conspiracy theories to vilify a president whose popularity is increasing mostly because of the prospect of Trump replacing him. They sure do love to hate Obama, but they sure will miss him when he leaves.

Yes fear is a powerful thing! But I guess not powerful enough for the government to have kept a tail of some sort on this guy! After having actually investigated him 3 times and with ample reasons to do so!

Fail!

As if there's any place to hide a GPS in a rifle, especially where it can't be removed by e.g. swapping the stock.

Do you wonder why White people think you're clueless?  It's because you are.

Yeah, just keep telling yourself Trump's ceiling is 20%.  That talk sure swept Jeb to the nomination, didn't it?  Bush administration #3 right around the corner!

"@James: Make it an integral part of the receiver so the weapon can't fire without it."

Are you trying to live down to the IQ of your ghetto neighbors?  Electronic modules aren't structural.  Even if one was, all you'd have to do to kill a tracking device is drill holes through its circuit board and either sever traces or destroy some of the chips.

Remember the stupidity over the micro-stamping of firing pins?  The micro-stamping that it would take all of 10 seconds with a diamond file to remove permanently?  Wait, you probably still think it's a great idea.  I shouldn't expect any better from a believer in paint-job theory.  The body's melanin cells are derived from the neural crest; the same genes direct the early development of both skin pigment and the brain.  But little facts like biology and centuries of contrary experience are irrelevant to the true believer in Equality.

"It still wouldn't do anything about all of the millions of them already out there in the hands of idiots who would would sooner chew off their own arm than cooperate with the government."

The same government that wants to import millions of third-worlders to completely dispossess real Americans?  Why would ANYONE not cooperate with it?  BTW, how'd that cooperation work for the Jews in Germany, 1933-1945?  The USA already has its Brownshirts, only this time they're Brownskins and waving Mexican flags outside Trump rallies.

"obama did draw a line in the sand" - big fucking deal. As opposed to Butt Trumpet who is a man of his word? Yeah suuuuuuuure

"created ISIS" - wrong Bush/Sticky Dick Cheney are 100% responsible for ISIS

"lie about having terrorists on the run" - see item 1

"Hillary voted for the Iraq war" - The War Powers Act does not bestow upon Congress the power to declare war. It allows Congress to grant or deny the President that power. Hillary voted to grant the option based on misinformation supplied by Sticky Dick's errand boys.

"lied about Benghazi" - lied about what? That it was random terrorists rather than card carrying Al Queda terrorists? Big fucking deal.

"traded influence for cash" - and Butt Trumpet would never do that? Noooooooooo

No doubt we are not going with our best. Nominating Clinton and not Sanders is at best a missed opportunity and at worst a disaster if Butt Trumpet is elected. Butt Trumpet knows Sanders would wipe the floor with him in a debate and wasted no time punking out.

Big fucking deal? Big fucking deal?

I'm sorry. For the president to draw a line on Syria's use of chemical weapons-and to have Syria cross that line-damages his credibility both here in America and around the world.

And Obama lying to America for political reasons is a big fucking deal.

And saying a corrupt liar who is under criminal investigation is "our best" says a lot about the party you support.

Actually James, I'm a trained machinist and there are several ways to integrate electronics into metalwork. Which, as I said doesn't matter at all given the millions of them already out there, owned by batshit insane dead-enders all het up to fight the ebil gubmint with them.

"Actually James, I'm a trained machinist"

Oh, are you now?

"and there are several ways to integrate electronics into metalwork."

And how many of them prevent those electronics from being destroyed with pinpricks delivered on a drill press, having their power supplies and antennas removed, or just chiseled out and replaced by a chunk of steel with JB Weld to make a more solid weapon minus the embedded snoop?

Circuit boards are carefully protected from mechanical stress so that the foils and solder joints don't break.  I can just see some idiot demanding that one be integrated into a rifle, and the circuit having a lifetime measured in discrete cycles of the bolt.

"owned by batshit insane dead-enders all het up to fight the ebil gubmint with them."

Know what they're worried about?  They're worried about hordes of NAPAs coming out of the 'hood into the once-safe areas after the EBT system breaks down, and the government siding with the looting, raping, murdering NAPAs by arresting and disarming citizens.  Which, if you look at what the government actually did in White areas in situations from Rodney King to Katrina to Michael Brown, is already a historical fact and not a future fear.

The NAPAs will get you first, but that will be cold comfort.

dinthebeast said...

I already said that it doesn't matter because there are millions of them already out there. And maybe you haven't looked at a car engine manufactured in the last three decades, but they are rife with electronics. So is a hellfire missile, for that matter. And I don't know what a NAPA or an EBT is, but I also don't know what kind of drug you would have to be high on to be afraid of one. I've made it through plenty of genuinely scary shit in my life, so I don't put much stock in the invented stuff.

-Doug in Oakland

James Bold said...

"maybe you haven't looked at a car engine manufactured in the last three decades"

Car engines were my bread and butter for a while.  I am intimately familiar with the electronics in modern vehicles, as in having probed them at the hardware level to determine why things were not working as designed.

"I don't know what a NAPA"

North American Pavement Ape.  Also known as "dindu", as in "dindu nuffins".

"or an EBT is"

It's free, swipe your EBT.  It's so funny that you profess ignorance while your neighbors literally live on it.

My neighbors are mostly middle class Asians. And a few bikers and marines. But even when I lived in Dogtown before they gentrified it out of existence, hardly anyone got any kind of government help. They mostly made their own way through a hard ass time in a hard ass place. I was living near 98th and Edes when the Rodney King riots went down, and only had a problem once, and that was my fault. Your stereotypes are bullshit, and only fools are afraid of them. I have been here 32 years, so if they existed, I would have seen them. Grow the fuck up.

Hey, Doug, JB can't carry around all that hate unless he can convince himself that his vision of America has merit.

Along with Field, I have nothing but pity for him. That's not what he's hoping for, but that's all I can muster when I consider how "deluded" he is, and willfully so.

You're right. I really shouldn't feed the trolls, and I don't hate them or anything. I'm trying to strike a balance between saying what I want to say and remembering not to take the bait. Sometimes some good discussion can be had here, and I don't get exposed to these extreme viewpoints much anywhere else, and even though I believe I already know what those viewpoints are, I have a hard time with the idea that they are just a dead loss to society, even when they try so hard to convince me again and again.

Hi everyone, fix your broken relationship and marriage right now no matter how hopeless your situation seems!! I am so excited sharing my testimony with everyone here about how i saved my marriage and got my husband back after a divorce!!!
I am Natasha Hayes by name and i reside here in United States of America.I'm happily married to a lovely and caring husband ,with two kids.A very big problem occurred in my family seven months ago, between me and my husband .so terrible that he took the case to court for a divorce.he said that he never wanted to stay with me again, and that he didn't love me anymore. So he packed out of the house and made me and my children passed through severe pain. I tried all my possible means to get him back, after much begging, but all to no avail.and he confirmed it that he has made his decision, and he never wanted to see me again. So on one evening,as i was coming back from work,i met an old friend of mine who asked of my husband .So i explained every thing to him,so he told me that the only way i can get my husband back,is to visit a spell caster, because it has really worked for him too.So i never believed in spell, but i had no other choice, than to follow his advice. Then he gave me the email address of the spell caster whom he visited.{Unityspelltemple@gmail.com}. So the next morning,i sent a mail to the address he gave to me,and the spell caster assured me that i will get my husband back the next day. What an amazing statement!! I never believed,so he spoke with me,and told me everything that i need to do. Then the next morning, So surprisingly, my husband who didn't call me for the past{7}months,gave me a call to inform me that he was coming back.So Amazing!! So that was how he came back that same day, with lots of love and joy,and he apologized for his mistake, and for the pain he caused me and my children. Then from that day,our marriage was now stronger than how it were before,by the help of a spell caster Dr Unity. So, i will advice you out there, if you have any problem contact Dr Unity and i guarantee you that he will help you and you will be the next to share your testimony to every one in the world!!. Email him at: Unityspelltemple@gmail.com or call him on: +2348072370762.

Ah.  The people who were allowed to shoot at the marauding Blacks during the Rodney King riots, and thus protect their homes and businesses.  Also very unlikely to shoot you, compared to the NAPAs who will shoot just about anyone over just about anything.

"And a few bikers and marines."

I'm sure the Asians love having them around as extra muscle.  Also not NAPAs.

"Your stereotypes are bullshit, and only fools are afraid of them."

"... during the 2012/2013 period, blacks committed an average of 560,600 violent crimes against whites, whereas whites committed only 99,403 such crimes against blacks. This means blacks were the attackers in 84.9 percent of the violent crimes involving blacks and whites.".  But if you want to call official government crime statistics "stereotypes", I honestly hope that it's your funeral before anyone else's.  YOU deserve it.

"I have been here 32 years, so if they existed, I would have seen them."

I'm sure you have; you're just too deep in denial to be able to say what it means.

"This guy lives for stupid stereotypes and getting attention via the internet."

Nigga, please!  You're worth a few minutes of my day.  I come here for the lulz.

"JB can't carry around all that hate unless he can convince himself that his vision of America has merit."

If I hated you I'd be making plans to hurt you.  I've done nothing of the sort; telling you the kind of threats you'll face when (not if) things break down under BLM terrorism and other stresses is not planning.  If you weren't trying to force yourselves into every aspect of my life, I would simply ignore you.

And of course we have the spammer in this thread too.  Has anyone bitten on that?

dinthebeast said...

Actually, James, we all get along pretty well, having no reason to hate one another. I don't want into any aspect of your life, my own life needs all the attention I can give it.

Huh. It's been many years ago, but...

I went as a guest on a Baptist "field trip" to Disney...Orlando.

Somewhere down the road, the bus stopped at a Krystal Burger joint.

Just across the highway, I could see this bar-joint. I had just turned 18, and knew I was legal to buy a drink.

I trotted across, and went inside to buy my first drink.

I guess I should have noticed all the bikes parked outside.

I was a long-haired freak at the time, but, as soon as I walked up to the bar, it got really quiet in there. I ordered a screw driver. I noticed the bar tender looked over my shoulder, nodded his head, and then made me my drink. I handed him a 5, but he wouldn't take it...he only pointed over my shoulder to a small table with three guys sitting there. No words spoken.

I turned around, went and sat. Those guys didn't say anything either. I kinda figured I was in trouble, by then. The big guy said, "drink it".

I did. That's about the time the waitress put another in front of my face.
Big guy says again, "drink it". No other words spoken.

After I downed it, the little guy says, "Leave. Don't miss your bus"

"Thanks"...but, no other words spoken.

No one asked me for a penny.

I hauled-ass out of there.

Just a stupid story. They were Bandidos.
