The "Trumpbart" movement, and the rise of the alt-right.

Never heard of the alt-right movement? Well now might be a good time to learn who these guys are and what they represent.

It's important now more than ever, because they have taken over the campaign of one Donald trump, a man who just happens to be running to become president of the United States.

I have been reading up on them of late, and they are a scary bunch. (Think of them as the guys who couldn't get dates in high school, and now that they are adults , they will take their revenge on society any way that they can get it.)

We shouldn't speak ill of the dead, but Andrew Breitbart was a real asshole, who surrounded himself with other assholes, and he created a website that catered to assholes.

And now, one of those assholes, is running things over at camp trump.

"Here's what you need to know about the Breitbart News chairman who just became Donald Trump's new campaign CEO. On Wednesday, Donald Trump’s campaign announced Breitbart News chairman Stephen Bannon as its new CEO — shocking no one in the conservative world.

Conservatives joked openly for months about “Trumpbart” and the transformation of Breitbart.com into, essentially, Bannon.com, but it was still something of a surprise that Trump would so publicly embrace Bannon, a man who helped transform a mainstream conservative website into a cesspool of the alt-right. It also comes as a surprise — or at least it should — that the Republican National Committee appears ready to go along with the Bannon-Breitbart-Trump takeover over the party, even as the Trump campaign’s latest move means RNC Chairman Reince Priebus now sits, effectively, side by side with alt-right Trump fans.
The takeover, now a virtual fait accompli, represents the dangerous seizure of the conservative movement by the alt-right.
Constitutional conservatives can’t stand the alt-right. Conservatives — real conservatives — believe that only a philosophy of limited government, God-given rights and personal responsibility can save the country. And that creed is not bound to race or ethnicity. Broad swaths of the alt-right, by contrast, believe in a creed-free, race-based nationalism, insisting, among other things, that birth on American soil confers superiority. The alt-right sees limited-government constitutionalism as passé; it holds that only nationalist populism on the basis of shared tribal identity can save the country. It’s a movement shot through with racism and anti-Semitism." [Read more]

The Breitbart and Cebull post.

“How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours. ”  ~Wayne Dyer~

I hear you Mr. Dyer, but I thought about another quote after learning of the death of Andrew Breitbart: "The soul that has conceived one wickedness can nurse no good thereafter."

I would like to remind everyone of the actions of Andrew Breitbart following the death of Teddy Kennedy. He immediately took to twitter and said the most evil vile things about the man before his body had even turned cold.

If there is really a place called hell I am quite sure that Andrew Breitbart is there right now.  The good news for Andrew is that he can join his friend Lee Atwater and maybe try to run the devils campaign to take over the world.

Honestly, for all of you people whose lives were destroyed by this despicable prick, I would love to join you for long slow waltz on his grave.

Finally, my racism chase takes me all across the country to the wonderful state of Montana.

I am sure you all have heard by now about the federal Judge who was caught sending racist e-mails which made fun of the president of the United States.

Of course this comes as no surprise to those of us who understand the nature of certain folks here in A-merry-ca. But this is not some red neck in an Alabama trailer park; this is a senior FEDERAL JUDGE. If that doesn't send a wakeup call to you Negroes in "post-racial" A-merry-ca, I don't know what will.

As is always the case, the judge is now sorry that he is being seen as a racist. I am sure that if he didn't live in Montana he would tell us that some of his best friends are....you know. He only meant his ignorant hateful e-mail towards Obama because of his profound disdain for the man. (BTW, that profound disdain is building. If O wins four more years they will have to double the Secret Service budget.)

"Richard Cebull, chief US district judge in the state of Montana, said he sent the email to a small group of friends because he is opposed to Obama. He acknowledged it was racist, but denied being racist himself.

"Normally I don't send or forward a lot of these, but even by my standards, it was a bit touching. I want all of my friends to feel what I felt when I read this," said the email containing the offensive joke.

The judge admitted that he sent the email to six "old buddies," the paper reported.

"It was not intended by me in any way to become public," Cebull said. "I apologize to anybody who is offended by it, and I can obviously understand why people would be offended."

"The only reason I can explain it to you is I am not a fan of our president, but this goes beyond not being a fan," he added. "I didn't send it as racist, although that's what it is. I sent it out because it's anti-Obama."

And here is the truly hilarious part:

"I have never considered myself that way," he said. "All I can emphasize is I've treated people in my courtroom all these years fairly. I don't think I've ever demonstrated racism. Nobody has ever even implied it." [Source]

Yes, I am sure that all those black people who came before you in Montana will attest to that.

Enough of Weinergate, let's talk about Elmo.

I was hoping this was the end of Weinergate, but apparently everyone wants to get in their 15 minutes of fame before we can finally call it a wrap.- Ginger Lee, we see you.- Andrew Breitfart is peddling his book, so this couldn't come at a better time for him. I wonder if he talked about all the deviant s&^% he did while he was at Tulane? (I am not just talking partying and drinking.) I sure hope so. No one wants to read a sanitized version of the truth.

The guy was everywhere today, and he was gloating over his latest liberal scalp. It must be nice.

And why not? Even mainstream news organizations want to get into the act.( ABC paid how much to license those photos?)

Anthony, you should have listened to me and came clean. This would have been over days ago.

Anyway, I hope you don't resign. If David Vitter can pay a prostitute to have sex with him and still get reelected in very red Louisiana I am sure that you will be fine with your constituents. Don't listen to the hypocrites on the right calling for you to step down. Ask them why they weren't saying the same thing when Vitter was faking a public apology and going all Jimmy Swaggart on television. At least you apologized; Vitter, on the other hand, not so much. Diapers Mr. Vitter?! Now there is a freak.

Anthony, call another press conference tomorrow and tell A-merry-ca that you will resign if David Vitter resigns and let's see where the chips fall. Who knows? He just might do the right thing and do what his predecessor -another hypocrite from Louisiana- did in the midst of the Clinton Lewinsky scandal, but I doubt it.

Finally, just when you thought that wingnuts couldn't get any nuttier, they do.

Now they are attacking Elmo for being a liberal and having an "evil conservative bias". And what's really pissing off my friends on the right is that they believe that the Sesame Street gang is dumbing down black and Latino children. Yes, you read that correctly. Not a poor family structure, not a lack of a proper education, and not a lack of proper resources in their homes; but Sesame Street.

Still, I am disappointed. I was hoping that the Cookie Monster was the most liberal of the bunch. He is my favorite. [Story]

Andrew In Wonderland.

His O ness won a couple of big legislative victories today, but thanks to his fear of the white...I mean the right it was drowned out by news about Shirley Sherrod, my new heroine, and a true field Negro. Girlfriend refused to appear on Radio Rwanda, and she slammed Ailes and company in an interview she did with Media Matters.

"Not before they reported it," she said of Fox's negligence. "They have called me today and initially I had said yes (to an interview), but I thought about it and I did not think they intended to be fair in their reporting. They are going to say what they want to say regardless of what I say."

She said Fox showed no professionalism in continuing to bother her for an interview, but failing to correct their coverage.

"I think they should but they won't. They intended exactly what they did. They were looking for the result they got yesterday," she said of Fox. "I am just a pawn. I was just here. They are after a bigger thing, they would love to take us back to where we were many years ago. Back to where black people were looking down, not looking white folks in the face, not being able to compete for a job out there and not be a whole person."

Still, Fox continued to push for an interview with her, Sherrod said. "

See that O man? That's how you handle the Radio Rwanda folks. I have said this before, but it is worth repeating: The people who tune in to Radio Rwanda are never ever ever going to vote for you. Never! So please, stop trying to be their friend; it will not work.

But what a difference a day makes. Now, all of a sudden, everyone is Shirley's friend. And everyone is doing their mea culpa, dance. Everyone, of course, except the man who started it all in the first place; Andrew Breitbart. That scumbag low life who, if he isn't a pedophile, sure looks like one. (BTW, Andrew thinks the farmer's wife was a plant. There is a mental hospital short of a patient out there.) Hell even Russel Simmons is getting into the act. Come on Russell, throw some of those Def Jam dollars behind Ms. Sherrod so that she can take a shot at a lawsuit against some folks. Or, organize those folks in Zoo York to get a protest permit and march outside of the Radio Rwanda studios. That would be far more effective than just penning an oped on Huffington Post.

Anyway, once again, we have a teachable racial moment in A-merry-ca. Black pundits are all over the cable networks, and they are telling the rest of A-merry-ca how black folks really feel. They hope that A-merry-ca will care. They wont. It seems everybody got the memo except black folks: There is no more racism in A-merry-ca.

Meanwhile, over at Radio Rwanda, it's business as usual: O'Reilly made a weak apology tonight on his program, but in the very next sentence he declared that Sherrod should be fired for violating the Hatch Act, and maybe, just maybe, she does see the world through a racial prism. Yes Bill, when your daddy was killed by a white man who wasn't even charged, your view of race tends to get a little skewed. I am just sayin.

I can't wait for this latest little racial dust up to end. I am dying to talk about my friend Hip Hop Mike and his latest little problem over at the RNC. Now there is a Negro who could use some support from the rest of you. Shirley will be fine, she has already been offered a job. Mike, on the other hand, just might be on his way out.

Now if we only had a video.

I see Andrew Breitbart is up to his old tricks. He claims that someone sent him a video of a clear cut example of reverse racism by the NAACP folks, and he was just sitting on it until the time was right to unleash it on A-merry-ca. Well, for Andrew, that time is now.

"The NAACP is about to learn one of the most basic of all lessons in life — those who live in glass houses should avoid provoking a stone-throwing war. After the civil-rights organization threatened to issue a condemnation of Tea Party activism by equating it with racism (a position from which they ultimately retreated), Andrew Breitbart announced that he would publish at least one video of the NAACP itself cheering racism. Breitbart delivers on that promise today at Big Government, showing USDA official Shirley Sherrod explain to an appreciative NAACP audience in July 2009 how she deliberately withheld information from a white farmer in Georgia trying to save his land and his business:"

Oh Ohhh. Let this be a lesson to you Negroes: There are spies everywhere, and if you are on television-even cable access- you don't know who will be watching. In this case it was a racism chasing wingnut who sent the video of Ms. Sherrod to Andrew. Which, as it turns out, might have cost her a job. Now, of course, as is always the case with folks like Andrew; there is a slight problem: It seems that old Andrew didn't release all of the video, and girlfriend doesn't look as bad if her entire speech is taken in its proper context. Andrew, of course, has promised to release more. Let's hope that the NAACP beats him to it. Again, I am no big fan of that group, but when I see comments like the ones on this site, I have to say that I am going to start sending them my hard earned money again.

To think that Andrew, by releasing a video of a government hack, can prove that the NAACP is racist and eliminate years of racism speaks more to where A-merry-ca is on matters of race than a million videos ever could. BTW, Andrew still has that offer of $100,000.00 for anyone who can prove that Congressmen Lewis and others were subject to racist taunts etc. when they made that long painful walk through the teabagger's version of the Soul Train Line. Well, as it turns out, Andrew is a liar and a fraud. He was proven wrong, and he still didn't write the check. Typical.

I was actually going to blog about the Minutemen groups-I prefer to call them Neo Nazis-at the border, but I don't want to go tit for tat with Andrew and the reverse racism crowd, so I am going to leave that one alone. Besides, they would only call me a hypocrite for saying that the NBP party folks were just a bunch people on the fringe and not saying the same thing about the Minutemen. Isn't that right, wingnuts?

Andrew and Jacoby.

So, once again, we have to call wingnuts on their bullshit. This time, as Warner Wolf used to famously say: "Let's go to the video tape"

"Three Democratic congressmen — all black — say they heard racial slurs as they walked through thousands of angry protesters outside the U.S. Capitol. A white lawmaker says he heard the epithets too. Conservative activists say the lawmakers are lying.
What does the video show? Not much. Indeed, new interviews show that a much-viewed YouTube recording cited as evidence by conservatives was actually shot well after the time in question."

Wait, you mean the video tape that the wingnuts were calling the smoking gun was full of blanks? Now there is a surprise. Yet they still persist with this charade.

"Stung by the charges of racism, conservatives and tea party activists insist it never happened. And one of them is offering big money if anyone can prove it did.
With so many media and citizen cameras at the demonstration, any epithets would have been caught on tape, says Andrew Breitbart. He's the web entrepreneur who released the video of ACORN workers counseling actors posing as a pimp and prostitute, and has pledged $100,000 to the United Negro College Fund if anyone provides proof of the epithets. "It didn't happen," said Breitbart, who wasn't there. "This is 2010. Even a racist is media-savvy enough not to yell the N-word."

Andrew, if you weren't there, how the hell do you know that it "didn't happen"?
And again, why the hell would I take the word of a bunch of rabid wingnuts over the word of a civil rights icon?

"Listen, I was there," Carson, D-Ind., said in an interview. "In many regards I think (the challenges are) a veiled attempt to justify actions that are simply unjustifiable. I think we need to move toward a dialogue that explores why this kind of divisive and reprehensible language is still making it into our political debate."A fourth Democrat, Rep. Heath Shuler of North Carolina, who is white, backed up his colleagues, telling the Hendersonville (N.C.) Times-News that he heard the slurs. "

Hear that Andrew? Even a white man who was there backs up Lewis and company.

But I tell you what I am going to do. I don't have $100,000.00 to throw away like Andrew Breitbart. But if you wingnuts can prove that it didn't happen, I promise I will raise $10,000.00 and donate it to the local Tea Party Chapter. And, just to sweeten the deal for you wingnuts out there; I will stop blogging forever. [Story]

Finally, I can't let this next story go without blogging about it. My man Greg Fuller sent it to me, and as painful as it is for me to write about, I have to share it with the rest of you. That's how we do here in the fields, we try to keep it one hundred percent at all times.

So here is the story:

"Jacoby Laquan Smith says he will turn himself in to St. Paul police this week for what must be the most unmanly crime on record: domestically abusing his armless, legless girlfriend.
Smith allegedly punched Tiesha Bell in the face 10 times during the March 22 incident and faces a misdemeanor fifth degree assault charge and a gross misdemeanor for interfering with a 911 call. Bell was in no position to defend herself, being that both hands and both legs were amputated due to a childhood illness. But Smith says don’t let that fool you–Bell is like a handless, legless Ultimate Fighter. 'She’ll swing, push me down and choke me with her nubs,' Smith told the Pioneer Press."

.................I am sorry y'all, but I am speechless. It's hard to write after reading some shit like this. And for all you pro- life folks out there, I have a serious question for you: After hearing about Jacoby Laquan Smith, would you care to rethink your position?

"Smith said that prior to the domestic dispute, Bell was cheating on him.
That’s right, Smith was being cuckolded by a quadruple amputee. That can’t be good for the self-esteem. He turned on the TV and Bell got mad, he says. She punched him in the groin with her deadly nub and then proceeded to dowse him in urine from a bed pan." [Full story]

Jacoby, you are one sick dude.

When wingnut obsessions go wrong.

"I'm never gonna dance again Cause guilty feet have got no rhythm Though it's easy to pretend I know you're not a fool I should have known better than to cheat a friend And waste the chance that I'd been given So I'm never gonna dance again The way I danced with you"

When George Michael wrote that song I bet he never had wingnuts in mind. Because I guarantee you that the wingnut will dance all night long and not notice that his partner has no rhythm. Why? Because they are fools for a good story, that's why. Especially when it involves taking down those evil progressives.

Remember when I blogged about that fraud Andrew Breitbart ,and his side-kick, the fake pimp, James O'Keefe? Well now it seems that those two scumbags have been totally discredited. The "Chester The Molester" looking Matt Drudge and the clowns over at Radio Rwanda must be just hoping that everyone will do like the rest of the main stream media and say nothing. But fortunately we have blogs in A-merry-ca (shout out to The Brad Blog) to always keep us informed.

" You folks do realize that James O'Keefe never actually wore his ridiculous pimp costume into those ACORN offices on those doctored and illegally recorded video tapes, right? But, rather, he was filmed outside of the offices wearing his get-up, while appearing as the conservatively dressed boyfriend of a hooker trying to escape an abusive pimp when the cameras were rolling inside the offices. That's just one of many deceptions O'Keefe carried out.
As one of two independent investigations of the incidents which
clear ACORN of wrong-doing noted, this one by former MA Attorney General Scott Harshbarger [PDF]"

Is this the same Andrew Breitbart who promised, with the help of his friend Glen Beck, to being down the Obama administration? Hey Andrew, how is that working out for you? And
what exactly is Beck, Drudge, and company saying about this? *crickets*

Not to worry folks, the wingnuts still love Andrew, so the dance continues.

Since Crazy Andy Breitbart, who released the phony video tapes on his propaganda website, didn't bother to man up and point that out before, during, or after posting them, or while appearing on Fox "News" and elswhere to promote both them and himself, or even after the reports came out, you may not have realized that salient fact.
You may also not have known that while both independent reports, the
other one by the Congressional Research Service [PDF], found no criminal wrong doing by ACORN, they did find that O'Keefe likely the broke the law in at least two states by secretly recording the videos which had voice-overs deceptively edited into them later, "in some cases substantially," according to Harshbarger's report, so that it was "difficult to determine the questions to which ACORN employees are responding."

In other words, the videos were a scam perpetrated by both Breitbart and his employee O'Keefe, who now faces felony charges that Breitbart has been tweeting his adorable angry little heart out over the last few days trying desperately to downplay. Who can blame him? Nothing less than whatever little credibility he ever had is on the line after all. No doubt P.T. Barnum faced similar circumstances as he plied his trade to the suckers born every minute."

Yes, suckers and dance partners.

And now for the second installment of wingnuts obsession gone wrong:

Seems that the conservatives are not too pleased with a certain beige man putting his foot on the people's desk in the White House.

This is how Wonkette described it:

"Can you believe this guy? Our queen gave us this holy desk back when his people were still slaves or whatever, and now he’s putting his feet on it?

Oh, the wingnuts. How crazy they make themselves, every day, all because it’s no longer acceptable — even on Fox News or talk radio — to say the “N word.”
This is the rest of the forwarded email making the anger-bear trailer-park rounds today:Read more at Wonkette:
http://wonkette.com/413753/black-man-puts-his-feet-on-desk#ixzz0gPjSSL8p"

But then, the pic of George Bush doing the very same thing is priceless.

I know I know wingnut, George Bush is.....ahh...ahhm....older. Yeah, that's the ticket, he is older.

Thank you Carlos and Buster for those stories.
