Lying about a tragedy.

Not that you need anymore proof of how ignorant and clueless this president is, but his comments after the terrorist attacks in London---- and his lies about what the Mayor of London said---- should only confirm to you what a clown we elected to lead our country.

The thing is, everyone knows what trump said was wrong, except, of course,  trump and his sycophants.  In yet another twist on a running theme since January of 2017, trump tweeted out his own set of alternative facts, and when he was called out it, he decided that we were the ones who were not clued in, and it was those Brits who were wrong about the string of terrorist events that took place in their country.   

The Mayor of London is a popular guy, and his people really seem to like him, and yet here we have an American president trashing him after terror visited his city.

I heard someone say this on television today, and it's worth repeating: Imagine, for a minute, a British  leader ripping Rudy Giuliani right after September  11th. We would have lost our minds. That, in essence, is what the president is doing, he is trolling the Brits, and calling their mayor a liar in the process.

"The gunman in Monday's fatal shooting spree at an Orlando, Florida, business targeted his victims and had a "negative relationship" with at least one of them, according to law enforcement.

Army veteran John Robert Neumann, Jr. killed five employees of Fiamma Inc. before killing himself, Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings said.

The company makes accessories for recreational vehicles. Neumann was fired from there in April.

All five of the victims were employees of Fiamma, which makes awnings and accessories for recreational vehicles, the sheriff said. Four of them — three men and a woman — were found dead when deputies arrived, he said. A fifth person, a man, was transported to a hospital, where he died.

The sheriff identified the gunman as John Robert Neumann Jr., 45, who had been fired from his job at Fiamma in April. He had shot and killed himself by the time law enforcement arrived, Sheriff Demings said." [Source]

 

Tragic! And yet, turn on cable- news and it's a all trump all the time. Sadly, we have become immune to these types of  tragic mass shootings. Just another ho hum day in America.

The confidence game begins.

It started already, folks. The trump con game is already in full effect.

President elect Orange Hair promised his rabid supporters on the campaign trail that he would repeal and destroy the ACA, but today he told the Wall Street Journal that there are parts of it that he will probably keep. 

Get used to it trumpsters, I suspect that after the first year under Führer trump you will be having buyer's remorse.

Let's face it, it already doesn't look like trump is being particularly loyal to some of his peeps. Poor Chris Christie must feel like the Theon Greyjoy  from Game Of Thrones. He thought that serving as trump's manservant and totally sucking up to him would at least get him a nice gig in his administration if he won. Well, he won, and what does trump do?

Chris, you and the rest of trump's followers will soon see what hundreds of folks who did business with him in the past already know: That there is not an honest or loyal bone in that man's body.

Anyway, I read an article written by Charles Blow that is getting a lot of retweets on twitter that I felt I should share.

"Donald J. Trump is president-elect of the United States. Now there’s a sentence I never thought I’d write.

Against all odds and against all forms of the establishment, he prevailed. He won, legitimately, including in many states that were thought to be safely blue. The pundits and the polls were wrong. There was more pent-up hunger for change — and also racial, ethnic and economic angst — than many models considered.

Mr. Trump will become this country’s 45th president. For me, it is a truly shocking fact, a bitter pill to swallow. I remain convinced that this is one of the worst possible people who could be elected president. I remain convinced that Trump has a fundamentally flawed character and is literally dangerous for world stability and injurious to America’s standing in that world.

There is so much that I can’t fully comprehend.

It is hard to know specifically how to position yourself in a country that can elect a man with such staggering ineptitude and open animus. It makes you doubt whatever faith you had in the country itself.

Also, let me be clear: Businessman Donald Trump was a bigot. Candidate Donald Trump was a bigot. Republican nominee Donald Trump was a bigot. And I can only assume that President Donald Trump will be a bigot.

It is absolutely possible that America didn’t elect him in spite of that, but because of it. Consider that for a second. Think about what that means. This is America right now: throwing its lot in with a man who named an alt-right sympathizer as his campaign chief.

How can I make sense of the fact that the president appeared in pornos?

How can I make sense of the fact that the man who will appoint the next attorney general has himself boasted of assaulting women? What will this president’s vaunted “law and order” program for “inner cities” look like in an age where minority communities are already leery of police aggression?

How do I make sense of the fact that a man who attacked a federal judge for his “Mexican heritage” will be the man who will nominate the next Supreme Court justice and scores of federal judges?

I can’t make it make sense because it doesn’t. I must sit with the absurdity of it.

I must settle this in myself in this way: I respect the presidency; I do not respect this president-elect. I cannot. Count me among the resistance.

I hope that there are areas where people in Washington can agree to actually advance America’s interests, but I’m doubtful. Trump has made multiple campaign promises, promises he will be obliged to keep, that would specifically do harm.

My thoughts are now with the immigrant families he has threatened to deport and the Muslims he has threatened to bar and the women he has demeaned and those he is accused of assaulting and the disabled whom he apparently has no problem mocking.

My thoughts are with the poor people afflicted by ill health who were finally able to receive medical insurance coverage, sometimes lifesaving coverage, and the fear they must feel now that there is a president committed to repealing and replacing it (with what, I don’t know), and who has a pliable Congress at his disposal." [Read more]

Before I forget, Happy Veterans Day to all the Vets out there. Thank you for your service! (We still miss my wife's brother in law , who gave the ultimate sacrifice. )

It's a shame that you will be now led by a commander in chief who was too much of a coward to do what you so bravely did and continue to do. 

When your surrogates are as over the top as you are..

Over at the sex assault network, they are freaking out over the thought of Donald trump getting his ass handed to him by a lady. And to the much hated Hillary no less.

By all accounts, trump is getting a major beat down in all the polls, and for a guy who claims to be a winner, this cannot be good.  It 's probably why he is already declaring that the elections will be rigged and warning us that if he loses it will be because those blacks in places like Philly cheated. And, sadly for him, now (some) in the press are finally doing their job and some real investigative reporting. This might be why he has been running against the New York Times and other media outlets of late. 

Things have gotten so bad for the orange haired one that his surrogates are starting to sound as over the top and as irrational as he is. From Rudy Giuliani declaring that there were no terrorist attacks on American soil before Obama (Pssst, remember September 11th?), to Katrina Pierson declaring that
Barack Obama started the Afghan war.

All of this of course won't slow down the trump train. It will continue to motor down the tracks, running on the fumes from his oversized ego, and the energy from the clueless minions who have rallied around his movement.

Ready or not, here it comes, and the only thing that can stop it is a reality check.

Speaking of reality checks, Justin Gatlin got one last night when he tried to run against fellow yawdie and GOAT,  Usain Bolt.

Congrats to Usain Bolt for winning three gold medals in three different Olympic games while competing in the 100 meter dash.

Misplaced blame.

My thoughts go out to the family of the two police officers who were assassinated by that lunatic who posted what he was going to do on social media in the name of Michael Brown and Eric Garner.


Before he got to New York the shooter shot his girlfriend and put her in critical condition.


Anyway, as is to be expected, some of the inmates in this asylum called America have declared that these police officers were shot to death because of the protest movement against police brutality and leaders such as Barack Obama and Al Sharpton.


If the former mayor of New York did not also make such an idiotic declaration, it would not even be worth commenting on. Sadly, though, what Rudy Giuliani said was indicative of the mindset of quite a few people who take the simplistic approach of placing blame for the actions of one lunatic on a just and needed movement.


What Giuliani and the other inmates don't understand, is that by trying to clean up the act of those in law enforcement we can prevent tragedies like this from happening in the future. He blames the actions of Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley on the leaders of the protest movement and the protesters themselves, but what he fails to realize is that if Darren Wilson and Daniel Pantaleo did not act they way they did, this lunatic might just have taken himself out without trying to make a political statement in the process.


But hey, as that Doobie Brothers song says, "what a fool believes he sees."






     

RUDY GIULIANI'S GAY LOVER COMES OUT AND SAYS RUDY LEFT HIS FIRST WIFE BECAUSE OF HIM.

Yeah maybe I am making it up, and maybe I just heard it somewhere. What's the big deal? Why is it any different from what the "D" student and scumbag with the Fedora is doing? Oh, maybe you folks missed this little gem from Matt Drudge today, but I didn't.

Here is a guy (Drudge) who gets over 3 million unique hits on his site a month, reached a billion hits in 2002, and who is supposed to be the gold standard for Internet journalist in America, basically throwing mud at a major candidate and hoping it sticks. Make no mistake folks, this is not some blogger from around the way. Time Magazine actually voted him as one of America's 100 most influential people, and ABC news says the guy "sets the tone for national political debate" for crying out loud. Yet he puts it out there on his web site (The Drudge Report), that Hillary is having an affair with her "beautiful personal assistant, Huma Abedin.

But Drudge is slick, he puts out his mud on the ice Queen by using an article from the British paper, "The Times of London". This lying scumbag calls himself an independent populist, but anyone with half of a brain knows that he is nothing more than a rethuglican hack. --I bet he is cooking up something on Obama right now-- And sorry, I can't let shit like that slide. And if Hillary wasn't so busy trying to be all things to all people she wouldn't either. Unless, of course, the shit is true; and if that was the case, she would have my vote for sure. (Kitty, if you are lurking, sorry)

OK Matt, so you were right about Monica's dress, and you were responsible for exposing Bill Clinton. That was your first sin. Because no one really gave a fuck that Slick Willie was getting a BJ in the White House as long as we had money in our pockets, the Justice Department was actually prosecuting hate crimes, and mothers weren't losing their sons half way around the world to keep him in power. But I seriously digress.

So back to Rudy. Yes, the field might be stretching that headline a little. But it's not being done with malice, the field is just putting down what he has heard from a source or two. "Ahhh field, name one". The name escapes me right now but as soon as I remember I will let you know.
