"Color aroused" police officers and the damage they do to all of us.

Image result for tulsa crutcher images    More Americans are starting to see the live and in living color execution of Terence Crutcher.  And, as is usually the case, everyone is saying all the "right things". (Well, everyone except a certain presidential candidates. Really? More dangerous than Afghanistan?)This will go on until the next black man is unnecessarily killed by someone who is paid to protect and serve us.

Fortunately, one of the candidates for president is at least talking about it, but sadly, the other candidate is not. It's  not hard to figure out why. Most of that candidates support comes from a group of people who somehow believe that black men bring it on themselves by simply being....well, black.

You see it's like this: as a black man in America you don't have to be armed to be considered dangerous; just being a black man is in of itself a weapon to some of those "color aroused" folks out there.

Being color aroused makes you refer to a large black man as a "bad dude" without knowing anything about him. Color arousal makes you treat blacks as something other than American. Color arousal makes you lump them all together and treat their communities as somehow being separate and apart from the rest of America.

We might not be able to help being color aroused from time to time, but we should never let it dictate our actions in such a way.

Finally, I have been saying for weeks that Donald trump should release his taxes

Believe it o r not, I am not coming from a bad place with this, I am actually trying to help the guy out.

He is going to need the help if these stories about him giving $258,000.00  to pay off one of his business debts with money from his charity are true. So releasing his tax returns will show the world that his "milk is clean", and that he is being transparent and showing the world that his financial house is in order.

Two requests.

Image result for election 2016 imageSo Labor Day is over, and the circus to elect our next president is in full swing.

The candidates crossed paths today in Ohio, and Hillary unveiled her new plane while coming out of hiding (and fundraising) from the press. trump actually attended a fair in Ohio, where he mixed and mingled with the people and got some good old fashioned white blue collar love.

So anyway, I just have a couple of requests for the candidates, and I hope that they can indulge me as soon as possible.

The first one is for Hillary:

Please hold a press conference and announce to the American people that you have turned over every e-mail correspondence that you have ever had to agencies in charge of investigating them. And tell us everything that you can remember to the best of your knowledge about said emails. Even shit that you might find embarrassing.

Personally, I don't care about you and your damn e-mails, but apparently the republican spin machine has convinced the American people that it's a thing.

The second one is for Donald:

Please release the letter from the IRS informing you of the audit of your tax returns.

Audit or no audit, you  should still release them. This will at least prove to the American people that you are in fact under an IRS audit and that you are not lying to prevent releasing your tax returns.

"I love debt".

MORE DISCLAIMERSThe Field Negro education series continues.

"On the campaign trail, Donald J. Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, has sold himself as a businessman who has made billions of dollars and is beholden to no one.

But an investigation by The New York Times into the financial maze of Mr. Trump’s real estate holdings in the United States reveals that companies he owns have at least $650 million in debt — twice the amount than can be gleaned from public filings he has made as part of his bid for the White House. The Times’s inquiry also found that Mr. Trump’s fortunes depend deeply on a wide array of financial backers, including one he has cited in attacks during his campaign.

For example, an office building on Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan, of which Mr. Trump is part owner, carries a $950 million loan. Among the lenders: the Bank of China, one of the largest banks in a country that Mr. Trump has railed against as an economic foe of the United States, and Goldman Sachs, a financial institution he has said controls Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee, after it paid her $675,000 in speaking fees.

Real estate projects often involve complex ownership and mortgage structures. And given Mr. Trump’s long real estate career in the United States and abroad, as well as his claim that his personal wealth exceeds $10 billion, it is safe to say that no previous major party presidential nominee has had finances nearly as complicated.

As president, Mr. Trump would have substantial sway over monetary and tax policy, as well as the power to make appointments that would directly affect his own financial empire. He would also wield influence over legislative issues that could have a significant impact on his net worth, and would have official dealings with countries in which he has business interests.

Earlier in the campaign, Mr. Trump submitted a 104-page federal financial disclosure form. It said his businesses owed at least $315 million to a relatively small group of lenders and listed ties to more than 500 limited liability companies. Though he answered the questions, the form appears to have been designed for candidates with simpler finances than his, and did not require disclosure of portions of his business activities.

Beyond finding that companies owned by Mr. Trump had debts of at least $650 million, The Times discovered that a substantial portion of his wealth is tied up in three passive partnerships that owe an additional $2 billion to a string of lenders, including those that hold the loan on the Avenue of the Americas building. If those loans were to go into default, Mr. Trump would not be held liable, the Trump Organization said. The value of his investments, however, would certainly sink.

Mr. Trump has said that if he were elected president, his children would be likely to run his company. Many presidents, to avoid any appearance of a conflict, have placed their holdings in blind trusts, which typically involves selling the original asset, and replacing it with different assets unknown to the seller.

Mr. Trump’s children seem unlikely to pursue that option.

Richard W. Painter, a professor of law at the University of Minnesota and, from 2005 to 2007, the chief White House ethics lawyer under President George W. Bush, compared Mr. Trump to Henry M. Paulson Jr., a former chief executive of Goldman Sachs whom Mr. Bush appointed as Treasury secretary.

Professor Painter advised Mr. Paulson on his decision to sell his Goldman Sachs shares, saying it was clear that Mr. Paulson could not simply have placed that stock in trust and pretended it did not exist.
If Mr. Trump were to use a blind trust, the professor said, it would be “like putting a gold watch in a box and pretending you don’t know it is in there.”

‘We Overdisclosed’

“I am the king of debt,” Mr. Trump once said on CNN. “I love debt.” But in his career, debt has sometimes gotten the better of him, leading to at least four business bankruptcies.
He is, however, quick to stress that these days his companies have very little debt.

Mr. Trump indicated in the financial disclosure form he filed in connection with this campaign that he was worth at least $1.5 billion, and has said publicly that the figure is actually greater than $10 billion. Recent estimates by Forbes and Fortune magazines and Bloomberg have put his worth at less than $5 billion." [Source]

Some republicans don't like Condi, and 35 questions for Mitt.

Before I start this post I would like to, once again, ask Mr. Romney to release his tax returns. I really want to see them because I am thinking about voting for the guy, and before I do that I need to know as much as I can about the candidate I pull the lever for.

Anyway, speaking of Mitt, I have said before that I think that he should consider Condi Rice as his running mate. I think it would be a good political move on his part, and it would actually help him with voters who are sitting on the fence. That's just my two cents.

Having said that, knowing his party the way that I do, I am thinking that it might not happen.

"Vdare, the website run by white nationalist and CPAC panelist Peter Brimelow, today editorialized against the possibility of Condoleezza Rice becoming Mitt Romney's running mate.
Someone writing under the name "Patrick Cleburne" (Cleburne was a Confederate general) calls Rice an "an Affirmative Action cipher with no visible talent except for obeying Neocons" and says her nomination would indicate that "a Romney Presidency is likely to degenerate into minority appeasement."

A similarly-themed "Say No to Rice!!!" email forward sent to BuzzFeed includes a link to the Vdare item. It is a pledge which attacks Rice on her foreign policy, experience, and looks, suggests Arizona Governor Jan Brewer as a superior female vice presidential candidate:

Sorry Condi, it doesn't look like the [right] wngnuts like you very much. I just hope that these mean spirited comments will not affect the vetting process and Mr. Romney will still consider you as his running mate.

Finally, it is obvious that Mitt has some problems. But fortunately for him, unlike Jay- Z, he does not have 99 of them; he actually has 35.
