Pitt bull,pig, what's the difference?

I am not a Republican, and I am not a racist. I will be voting for Cynthia McKinney for president. So don’t threaten me with your post-partisan, post-racial, manipulative, coercive hate mail.

It is official - Obama is the biggest ass**** to ever run for President (by John: south of Melrose Liberal Rapture)
Yes,
he said it. Why don’t you give them the finger, Barack, as you did Hillary? You are one classy dude.

Your fellow Democrats (by vastleft at Corrente)I’ve never been more proud. This DU [Democratic Underground] thread, which currently has 31 recommendations (5 is the threshold to appear on the page of “greatest” posts of the day), celebrates the implication that Obama specifically had Palin in mind with his “lipstick on a pig” comment. Several other threads avidly deny that he meant it that way. It is a well-worn phrase, and I have no way of knowing whether he meant it to refer to Palin, but after her “lipstick/hockey mom/pitbull” comment it’s a poor choice of wording at very best. But, heck, it’s just words. So, how’s all that nastiness working out for you, Barack?..."

I thought I would open with that little e-mail I got from that crazy ass Carolyn Kay. Carolyn, every time you send me this bullshit, I will be posting it, because I told your crazy ass to stop, and you won't. Honestly, I really don't give a fuck if you are racist or not; you are just one of many dumb ass A-merry-can voters who can be easily manipulated by political gamesmanship. I would post the rest of your dumb ass e-mail, but I don't have the space or the time. I have some other shit I want to say. And Carolyn, I haven't had a good e-fight in awhile, so you and your bra burning friends might want to stop fucking with me.

Okay, now that I have gotten that out of the way, let me address the latest little dust up here in A-merry-ca. I have been all over his O ness throughout this campaign for not being tough enough on his political enemies. But you know what? I might have been wrong all along. People have told me all along that he (Obama) couldn't get too tough because a black man couldn't get away with what a white man could. And I think they are right. Imagine the latest:

Obama said that if you "put lipstick on a pig it's still a pig", and rehtuglicans are losing their natural minds. HE IS A SEXIST,they claim, HE HAS NO RESPECT FOR WOMEN, HOW DARE HE CALLS THIS WOMAN A PIG? And on and on. See folks, it's like this: Mr. Morton can call his wife a "cunt", and not a peep out of the news media. People (All except Obama of course) can call Hillary Clinton all types of vile and vicious things, but not a peep out of the media. That lipstick comment was actually a reference to something Mr. Morton said earlier, but not a peep about that. Why? Because all the dumb mother fuckers in these divided states, like the aforementioned, Carolyn Kay, choose to focus on the "O" man. Why? I will let you try to decide that one. But you only get one guess.

Anyway, since when is pig a sexist term? Didn't she (the beauty queen) call herself a pit bull? Personally, I think pigs are just as cute as pit bulls. If Obama had said that you can put a three piece suit on a hog, and it's still a hog, while talking about Mr. Morton, would that have been considered sexist? No, I think not. But this is the political silly season we are in now, and it is a season where the rethuglicans thrive. See folks, rethuglicans don't want us talking about the issues for obvious reasons, because they have destroyed this fucking country. Between the Dow tanking, unemployment at damn near 6%, a war draining our country of billions of dollars every month, our banks going under, our dollar tanking, and not to mention, Russia about to start world war fucking three (Russian bombers right here in our hemisphere conducting war games and shit). All this while a rethuglican was in power, and while the man running for his office voted with him 90% of the time. SEXISM? I have a news flash for you A-merry-ca: If Charles fucking Manson was running against Mr. Morton, he would be up in the polls. Think about it.

So O man, I am sorry,I guess you can't get tough, you will just have to leave that to us bloggers and all the crazy left wingers out here. I will give you some advise though; leave the pig alone, you can't win taking on the beauty queen, she is still a part of A-merry-ca's most protected class. You need to take on Mr. Morton, and take him on about the issues. Attack his tax plan, and his voting record with the frat boy. Keep hammering him on the issues, and stay on message. To steal a line from a very popular bus company: Go with the issues, and leave the nasty stuff to us.

Now speaking of nasty stuff, I have STILL not heard anything to disprove that story out of Alaska that the beauty queen called Hillary a bitch, and the "O" man a Sambo. Oh field that story again; I thought everyone agreed to leave that story alone since some of the other Internet rumors about Ms. Palin have proven not to be true? I didn't agree to shit! (Why doesn't someone "fact check" that story?) And I will keep talking about this story until someone proves to me that the pig didn't say it. I am sorry, did I call Ms. Palin a pig? I am sorry Sarah, I meant to write pitt bull.

**Thanks for the pic ArtMaggot**

O man, how is that race neutral thing working out for you?

Folks, it's getting ugly out here. And I hate to say I told you so but....well, yeah, I told you so.
Want me to prove it? Let me put on my trial lawyer hat and give you some exhibits:

Exhibit number one:

This clown makes fun of the "O"man's big lips ( of course I will give you one guess which political party he belongs to) something about them being so big that you could float half of Cuba to the shores of Miami on it. In case you didn't notice, he is a leader of the college rethuglicans here in Pistolvania. Now I have a question: it seems that my man called MLK a "fraud" not too long ago. My question to my republican friends would be this: why was he still a leader in your party after the MLK slur? "In hindsight when you read it the second time it's like oops. It was just a dumb move on my part to make a statement like that in public." Nice. It was a dumb move because you said it "in public". Folks, can you imagine what these people are saying behind us in closed doors? Oh wait, I forgot, I saw the republican convention too, it doesn't have to be behind closed doors anymore.

Exhibit number two:

So a U.S. Congressman from the Third District of Georgia, calls the "O" man "uppity". Yes he did. Republican, Lynn Westmoreland, when speaking to a reporter, referred to his O ness as uppity. Do you believe that shit? Even after the reporter gave him a chance to retract his statement, the good ole boy stuck to his guns. Oh, did I mention that he was a republican? I didn't, but you already knew that now didn't you? I mean come on now, I know that they are the party of Lincoln and all, and I am sure that there are some good people under their tent, but......oh, did I mention that Mr. Westmoreland also voted against funding to open old civil rights cases under a bill named after Emmett Till ? What a guy. What a party?

Exhibit number three:

A radio talk show hosts goes off on a local columnist here in Philly, Fatimah Ali, and makes fun of her name; not her article, her name. Now I didn't agree entirely with Ms. Ali's article, because I don't think black folks (with the exception of a few Obamaholics of course) will necessarily lose their minds if the "O" man loses come November. Upset? Yes. To the point of rioting? No. And of course, everyone is forgetting that Ms. Ali said that there would be a "full fledged race, AND class war." But everyone seems to forgot about the "class" part. So thank you Mr. Quinn for confirming what I already knew about those of your ilk. Oh, and did I mention that he is a right wing republican?

Exhibit Number four:

I promise this will be my final exhibit, and then I will rest my case. This one isn't directly related to the "O" man, but please read the comments after this article about my new girlfriend, Condi. Condi happens to be a republican, but I think that she is even starting to think that when it comes time to choose up sides, she just might want to be in another tent besides the one with the elephant logo on it. Just a thought. I know there are some black folks among us who hate themselves so much, that being under that tent wouldn't be as hard as it is for the rest of us. But in spite of her frat boy jones, Condi doesn't strike me as one of them. But you never know, because the last time I checked, Condi was a republican.
I could go on (it's like shooting fish in a barrel), but I will spare you. Besides, you have seen and heard it all before from these folks (the republicans). But hang in there, just a couple of months to go before election day. And then my friends, it will be have a coke and a smile time in A-merry-ca all over again. At least until the next time that race matters.

"Freedom isn't free."

This election season we have heard over and over again, how a certain presidential candidate spent over five years of his life in a North Vietnamese prison. We have heard, time and time again, how brave and courageous he was, and how he was tortured and refused medical treatment by his captors, the Viet Cong. We heard about how he gave up his own freedom when it was offered, all so that he could suffer with his fellow American prisoners of war. That was courageous, and no doubt a certain presidential candidate deserves all the accolades that he has gotten. Senator, thank you for your service. I mean that.

But Senator (you know the but was coming, so don't trip), with all due respect, A-merry-ca has done alright by you, don't you think? This country we love so much has given you two of the things it cherishes most: blonds and money. Yes Senator, not only do you have the blond, but she came with lots and lots of money. That's one hundred million ways we have said thank you senator, and I think you deserve every penny of it.....

Now Senator, I know of some other men who have spent some time in prisons that they didn't deserve to be in as well. In fact, there are quite a few of them. One poor guy, Walter Swift, did 26 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. Now I know he wasn't tortured like you senator, and I am sure the conditions he was under were much better than what you had over there in the Hanoi Hilton. But 26 years of state time in Michigan? Hmmmm, let me see now; 26 years as opposed to five. I don't know, that kind of evens it out a little, don't you think? The thing is, and here is the irony of it all: You were fighting the Vietnamese to protect us from Communism, you were fighting for our A-merry-can ideals, our A-merry-can way of life and everything we stand for. And yet people like poor Mr. Swift keep ending up being victims of an imperfect system of laws which those ideals you were fighting for, created. Unfortunately for Mr. Swift, he doesn't have the pedigree like you do senator. You are the son of a four star admiral... Hell, you are the grandson of a four star admiral as well. You went to prep schools and the Naval Academy, you are an A-merry-can hero. Mr Swift's ancestors were slaves. So he was not given a heroes homecoming when he walked out of The Frank Murphy Hall of Justice in Detroit. And he sure as hell will not eventually end up being something as prestigious as a senior senator from one of these divided states; succeeding a man like the the famous (or infamous) Barry Goldwater.

"My incarceration of 26 years was just that - my personal adversity,... And to harbor any ill feelings toward anyone because of it would not only cheapen me as an individual, but it would put a remarkable blemish upon the excellent work and the struggle of these people who labored so hard on my behalf."

Well said Mr. Swift. A-merry-ca owes you as well. Unfortunately, all we can give you is your freedom back. It's not much but at least you live in a country where you can be free. I think you are supposed to thank a certain presidential candidate for that.

"Race Matters."

I want to talk about the elephant in the room again; no, not the GOP logo, race.

Reading the very fine columnist, Dick Polman, in my hometown paper, The Philadelphia Inquirer, made me think about it. Honestly, I try not to think about this tricky little subject when it comes to his O-ness; and being around you Obamaholics (I am married to one) makes it easier for me not to. You are all so positive, so optimistic, so full of hope, and so confident that your fellow A-merry-cans will do what is right for all of us. But that damn elephant won't go away. And watching the repukes at their Klan rally.....I mean their convention, jarred me back to reality. [This years code word is "Community Organizer"]

So what is reality? Well the reality is that 12% of dumbocratic voters were willing to tell pollsters straight up, that race was "important to Obama's detriment". Maybe you didn't read that. I wasn't talking about what the rethuglicans said, I was talking about the dumbocrats. And they are supposed to be the enlightened ones? According to Polman; "last June, the Washington Post-ABC News poll devised a 'racial sensitivity index,' based on a series of nuanced questions that were designed to measure questions that were designed to measure the varying levels of racial prejudice in the white electorate. The pollsters came up with three categories ranging from most to least enlightened category--- The key finding: Whites in the least enlightened category--- roughly 30 percent of the white electorate--- favored John McCain over Obama by a ratio of 2-1" Now I don't know about you folks, but where I am from, that spells trouble for his O -ness. I know my Philly politics, and right here in this 75% democratic city, where 55% of the population is African American, his O-ness will be lucky to get 65% of the overall vote come November. Why? Because many of the poor white ethnic blue collar voters will be voting for McCain, that's why, and it ain't because they think Obama is inexperienced.

Don't believe me? Well how do you explain, according to Polman's article, that union organizers in places like Michigan are complaining to the press that "we're all struggling to some extent with the problem of white workers who will not vote for Obama because of his color." In the article, one mine electrician from Kentucky said: " I won't vote for a colored man. He'll put too many coloreds in jobs." Well, that's a pretty good reason for not voting for him I guess, we can't have too many of those "coloreds" working now can we. Might upset the balance of things. Change those traditional values that we cling to here in A-merry-ca. Ahhh A-merry-ca, some things will never change.

Polman's quote from David Thoreau is spot on: "public opinion is a weak tyrant, compared with our own private opinion."

Well my private opinion is that race still matters, at least to at least 30% of our fellow citizens. And I am sorry Obamaholics, in spite of the well meaning folks of the majority population, and you true believers in the minority, 30% is just too big of a number to make up.

"I LOVE LUCY".... I THINK

"SO SAMBO BEAT THE BITCH"

Maybe that line shouldn't be in quotations as it relates to the beauty queen; because, let's be honest, as much as I despise the beauty queen, I am not even sure if this story is true. But it has been coming at me from all over the place, lately. Here, and here, and here. I mean honestly, I know none of us would be surprised if it is true, but is it?

"...According to Lucille, the waitress serving her table at the time and who asked that her last name not be used, Gov. Palin was eating lunch with five or six people when the subject of the Democrat’s primary battle came up. The governor, seemingly not caring that people at nearby tables would likely hear her, uttered the slur and then laughed loudly as her meal mates joined in appreciatively..."

Well, since I am not a real journalist, and this is my own personal blog, which I happen to share with a few of my field Negro and honorary field Negro friends, I am going to go ahead and assume that this story is true. But field, it's pure hearsay, you are a trial lawyer, you should know better than to believe unsourced stories, that can hurt a person's reputation and their good name. Yes, that is all true, but I am still NOT going to give the beauty queen the benefit of the doubt. Personally, I believe the story! So now it's up to the beauty queen to prove me wrong. I am going to do something that is not tolerated in the law. I am going to ask the beauty queen to prove something that she says didn't happen.

Hey, as long as we are asking these anonymous sources to come forward, let's ask the beauty queen about that alleged day, and ask her to bring the folks who were with her to come forward and say it didn't happen as well. We see the alleged accounting of these events from the eyes of this so called "Lucille". Everyone is asking "Lucille" to come forward, how about one of the six people who were with the beauty queen coming forward and saying that "Lucille" is a lying piece of shit? I mean honestly, could someone in the main stream media at least ask the damn question? I guess not. I mean god forbid that we seem like we are coming down too hard on our girl Sarah. Can't afford to do that now can we? We don't want to piss off all those hockey moms and small town voters out there.....Yeah right, like why do we even care?

So for now, as far as the field is concerned; not only is this woman a raving jesus freak lunatic. She is a racist, intransigent, self hating, creep as well. Oh field, that is so wrong to assume that this woman thinks this way just because she is a republican. Yep, that would be correct, because as far as I am concerned, when it comes to matters of racial sensitivity, being a republican already puts her way behind the fucking eight ball. She does not get the benefit of the doubt.

Oh well, this latest little news from the last frontier is just the latest in the Palin water torture that has been hitting us since she was picked to run as VP. Drip, drip, drip. When will it end?

Hopefully, it will be soon. But knowing A-merry-ca like I do, I have a feeling it will be dripping for the next four years.

"You Go Girl!"

Ms. O is currently my field Negro of the day. Ironically, it's for something completely different than what I am going to post about.

Now let me be clear; I have killed Ms. O in the past. Primarily for her weak ass book club and the phony picayune authors she has trotted out to us. But today I have come to praise her O ness. Today, I am a fan. Today, l will be like the rest of her millions of adoring subjects, and say, "You go Girl."

Why am I so happy? Because Ms. O (at least for now) said no to the beauty queen. Ms. O stood by her principles, and refused to let this poor excuse for a human being spread her putrid beliefs to her audience, and the rest of A-merry-ca. This, in spite of various outlets and pundits telling her to reconsider her position. Think of the ratings they say, you could win back conservative women who abandoned you after you supported Obama, they say; and on and on.

But so far you have stood your ground. ( I love how you got with [sl]Drudge] You don't need the beauty queen on your couch, or the ratings that her appearance would bring. Honestly, Ms. O, you don't need the money. You could retire and run off to your own private island with your boy Stud-man, and tell A-merry-ca to kiss your rather ample ass. So don't give in. I am sick of people with power and influence in this country selling out. (If I were "like Mike", I would probably shoot myself. What a phony!) It's nice to see someone stand up for what they believe in for once. Ms. O, we all know you supported his "O" ness, so how can you help his opponent get more votes? Hell, I am just starting to forgive you for putting the frat boy on your show and helping him get over the top. Don't make that mistake again. A-merry-ca can't afford four more years of a wise cracking intellectual lightweight. One was enough.

Hi beauty queen

(sorry Monica), it's me again. I caught your stand up routine last night. Funny! For a minute there I swore I was watching Def Comedy Jam. You were rocking the house girl. You had them at hello. I loved your hype man, Rudy, too. (Is it me, or is that guy getting more deranged with each passing day?) He had the house rocking; he threw lots of red meat for your redneck friends, and they were loving every minute of it.

BTW, I hear that Karl Rove's people wrote your lines for you, must be nice.

But hey, I have some other lines you might want to throw into your next routine.

Check em out:

"Palin recently said that the war in Iraq is 'God's task.' She's even admitted she hasn't thought about the war much—just last year she was quoted saying, "I've been so focused on state government, I haven't really focused much on the war in Iraq."

Palin has actively sought the support of the fringe Alaska Independence Party. Six months ago, Palin told members of the group—who advocate for a vote on secession from the union—to "keep up the good work" and "wished the party luck on what she called its 'inspiring convention.'"

Palin wants to teach creationism in public schools. She hasn't made clear whether she thinks evolution is a fact.

Palin doesn't believe that humans contribute to global warming. Speaking about climate change, she said, "I'm not one though who would attribute it to being man made."
Palin has close ties to Big Oil. Her inauguration was even sponsored by BP.

Palin is extremely anti-choice. She doesn't even support abortion in the case of rape or incest.
Palin opposes comprehensive sex-ed in public schools. She's said she will only support abstinence-only approaches.

As mayor, Palin tried to ban books from the library. Palin asked the library how she might go about banning books because some had inappropriate language in them—shocking the librarian, Mary Ellen Baker. According to Time, 'news reports from the time show that Palin had threatened to fire Baker for not giving 'full support" to the mayor.'

She DID support the Bridge to Nowhere (before she opposed it). Palin claimed that she said 'thanks, but no thanks' to the infamous Bridge to Nowhere. But in 2006, Palin supported the project repeatedly, saying that Alaska should take advantage of earmarks 'while our congressional delegation is in a strong position to assist."'

Now that's some funny shit. That should have every A-merry-can rolling in their seats.

I am sorry

beauty queen, but I am on that ass again. (Not literally of course; not my flavor) Still, I am going to take back all I said about you being naive and inexperienced. Seems you know the political game quite well.

For example; when you were mayor of your football team sized town, you hired a lobbyist with ties to that crook, Ted Stevens, to get ear marked pork for your town. And apparently you did quite well. Almost twelve million dollars? Wow! Including a one million dollar communications center which local law enforcement people said wasn't even necessary.

Then when you stood beside Mr. Morton you lied about backing the bridge to nowhere. You did support it when you ran for Governor in 2006, but switched your position when it became unpopular. Talk about flip flop. And you pushed for pork for your state too. One hundred and ninety seven million dollars worth. Including two million dollars for crab productivity. Now I love crabs, but......

The irony is that your running mate questioned some of your earmarks for your town and considered the spending "objectionable". Isn't life funny beauty queen? Seems like what goes around comes around doesn't it? Folks, I am not kidding about all of this. [Thanks Dan for sending me this link. ]

Now, finally, you have come out from hiding, and here you are on the eve of your big speech. You are running as the ultimate Washington outsider and the mom next door. You are soaking up all the red state love from your adoring fans. You are their Joan of Arc, their Annie Oakley, and their Belle Starr all rolled into one. You have come to rally the base, and to get the folks excited again. Well, to that end, I think picking you might have worked. I haven't seen the base this excited since they found out about a certain chubby interns stained dress.

But hey, at least you are ethical right? I mean you did take on your state party machine right? Not! If you took them on why did you stay silent and watch the GOP chairman and state party boss get re-elected at the state party convention in 2004? And why are you under investigation for violating the "Executive Ethics Act" right now? We all know the story by now: seems you didn't like how your ex brother in law treated your sister, so you wanted to make sure he hit the unemployment line. Wow, talk about "Hatfields and McCoys". I never want to cross you beauty queen. You play hardball.

And to be fair, the guy very well might have been a scumbag, but isn't there ways to handle scumbags without having your sister, the Governor, circumvent whatever law is in place to deal with such things?

But you gotta love it. I even hear that you wanted the corrupt governor of Alaska investigated....wait you were the governor of Alaska.....sooooo you wanted to investigate yourself? Yes, apparently you did. I swear, something about you isn't right.

Anyhooo, I am going to get some popcorn, get ready for the big speech, and play count the Negroes in the crowd. (I think I got three last night. Not including the band and the staff of course) It should be fun.

Sarah get your gun

you are going to need it for that shotgun wedding coming up.

I know you all didn't think I was finished with the beauty queen did you? Sorry, I have quite a bit more to say. Especially given the fact that these lunatics on the right have actually deluded themselves into thinking that this is a viable VP pick. Ah, I hate to break it to you my republican friends, but this pick is border line laughable.

Now I really don't want to go there with Bristol, after all, she is still a teenager.... but I am afraid I must. Now poor little Bristol is pregnant with child. A nd Mommy and Daddy are trying so hard to spin this as a good thing. S ee folks, when little middle class conservative white girls get knocked up, it a beautiful thing. It's all planned to bring a precious life into the world. But when poor little inner city girls, from single parent homes, get knocked up, it's a bad thing. Because they are making poor choices and their little baby isn't as precious. Ah field why are you being so hard on little Bristol?

Because little Bristol's mama is a family values conservative who preaches abstinence only sex education in schools. And because her mama has now gone and declared that the poor child is engaged to the unborn child's father, at SEVENTEEN! Just imagine, this poor child is being forced to marry some boy who she gave some, because her fucking mother wants to impress her conservative friends, and not jeopardize her chances any further of becoming VP. --And they say us left wingers are heartless. ---Thanks to this soulless, republican, freak; her seventeen year old daughter has to stand the scrutiny of an entire country, as she goes through an unwanted pregnancy. Nice. Talk about "family values". "Bristol and the young man she will marry are going to realize very quickly the difficulties of raising a child which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family." No beauty queen, if you really loved your daughter; when Mr. Morton came knocking, you would have said no. But you didn't. It's much more important for you to get a national profile in order to spread your far right grotesque beliefs, than to protect your daughter from crazy ass left wing bloggers, like the field Negro. Sorry Bristol, your mama don't care about you, so why should I? Your mama is more concerned about getting a team of lawyers up to Alaska (as much as ten I hear) to defend her against ethics violations charges. Good luck with that beauty queen, we should get the results of the investigation at the end of October, just in time for you know what. As if I didn't have reason enough to despise this woman, costing me two extra trips to the gym every week is making her enemy numero uno in the field's book.

And finally, can we all get a collection going to pay off anyone who was around when this woman gave birth to baby Trig? I mean honestly; someone had to have been there besides her doctor. I just read in my local paper that the beauty queen was hustling through snowy streets in high heels in February when she was allegedly seven months pregnant. And that when she announced that she was seven months pregnant even her closest staffers were surprised. All the time her daughter was safely sequestered with ahem ahem, mono. This wasn't published on some left wing blog, this was published in the Philadelphia Daily News, and that's as main stream as it gets. Come on now. As a friend of mine used to say: "I might have been born yesterday, but I stayed up all night." And the more I think about this story, the more my bullshit alarm goes off.

But that's enough for one day. I am going to leave the beauty queen alone for now. But a few things are still on my mind: like how she and her hubby joined a group that wanted to break off from A-merry-ca, and how she tried the good collie weed but didn't like it, and.....oh lawd, let me stop now, my fingers are getting tired.

**That pic was stolen from ArtMaggot. Well not really stolen, Art pretty much gave me carte blanche with his stuff** :)

"Beauty And The Beast."

*

I know that his "O" ness said to back off the beauty queen, and that attacking her family is off limits. But.....sorry "O" man, I can't just yet. Besides, I am not an Obamaholic, so what you say holds no weight with me. So if you don't mind, I am going to talk about the beauty queen once again.

Now folks, I am not big on rumors and innuendos. For days now, folks have been e-mailing me and commenting on this blog about the rumors surrounding the beauty queen's new baby. The word in the lefty blogosphere was that it was really her daughters baby, and that she was covering it up. Now honestly, I never really believed it. Because you have to believe that if it was true, somewhere in A-merry-ca, there would be a vagina mechanic (otherwise known as an OBGYN) or a nurse, willing to come forward and tell the truth about what really happened. And so far, no one has come forward. So for now, I am going to go ahead and say that little Trig belongs to the beauty queen.

Now what I know is true, is that her daughter, Bristol, is five months pregnant, (who is the "baby mama" now bitches?) and mommy was keeping quiet about that too. That is until she felt a need to come forward with the truth. ---Thank you left blogosphere for forcing her hand----Now I saw on CNN today where Bill Bennett and company were outraged that some folks on the left would make this a political issue. We should all follow Obama's lead and leave family out of this, he was saying. Yeah right, like if this was one of the Obama's daughters you mofos would be leaving it out of the discussion. I guarantee that you would have found a way to talk about it. See, we really need to do something about inner city pregnancy. Because not even the Obama's daughter are immune from its effects.

Now I could insert all types of jokes here about the beauty queen, but I won't. Because unlike the scumbags on the right, I am above that type of thing.....okay, okay, the truth is, I haven't gotten any really good jokes just yet, but I am working on it.

Honestly, the more I read about this lady the creepier she seems. For instance, I was shocked to read about her responses to the questionnaire for the 2006 governors race in Alaska. This woman actually believes that the founding fathers wrote the pledge of allegiance. (Thanks for hipping me to this nsangoma). Not to mention her scary ass views on the issue of abortion. Yes ladies, even in a case of rape or incest the beauty queen does not want you to touch that fetus. Most reasonable people, even the ones who are against abortion would agree that in extreme cases, the woman should be allowed to do what she wants to with her body. Not the beauty queen; oh no, she leads by example, and she will be damned if she waivers on her principles. Then there is the fact that she wants our teachers to teach creationism in public schools. Maybe you didn't read that; I said public schools. And, of course, she does not think humans have anything to do with climate change. Sorry A-merry-ca, there is nothing beautiful about this beauty queen. Lord please let Mr. Morton live a long and healthy life like his mama, because if this clown ever makes it to the White House, we will all be in trouble. The fact that the folks on the right are in love with this lady ought to tell you all you need to know. I know Mr. Morton is a little unstable, but I don't think he realized what a lunatic he was selecting as his side kick. ---Hell, he only met her once before for crying out loud.--- How could he have?

But I should stop complaining. Because when "beauty and the beast" gets into the White House I might just have to take an early retirement and blog all day long. I was planning on traveling the world, but with these two clowns in office, blogging should be a lot more fun.

Anyway "O" man, you just keep taking that high road. I am going to keep talking about the beauty queen/church- lady, and let the chips fall where they may. Honestly, there is just so much to talk about with her, and most of it ain't good.

Frat boy you have had three years, do you think you can get it right this time?

As hurricane Gustav churns towards the "boot"; my thoughts, first and foremost, are with my friends, loved ones, and in laws. Those poor folks will be doing everything that they can to ride out this potentially devastating storm. Still, I can't help but think of the irony of the entire situation. (Maybe there is a god) Almost three years to the date after the frat boy and his incompetent administration fucked over the *residents of an entire city, his party has been forced to cut back on their coronation of Mr. Morton and the beauty queen.

Personally, I love it. Not the storm, but the fact that those assholes had to change their plans because of it. They just couldn't have the rest of the A-merry-can people thinking that they are heartless and uncaring, and that they are throwing a major party while the Big Easy takes yet another hit.

And now I hear that the frat boy, and his side kick (Dead Eye Dick) will be skipping the convention to "monitor" the situation. My question to the frat boy would be: why? A-merry-ca already considers you a an incompetent buffoon, and no matter how hard you try, you will never get us to get those images and your handling of Katrina out of our minds. I know you think this is your second chance to get it right, but it's not. You get no second chance, not after the way you fucked up your first one. "Brownie you are doing a heck of a job". Remember those infamous words frat boy? They will go down along with "Mission Accomplished" as words which will define your administration, and your presidency.

Folks, let's be clear, Katrina is what doomed this administration in the eyes of many A-merry-cans. A lot of people could live with the Iraq war, after all, countries do go to war. People like moi might not like it, but there are some folks who think it's necessary, and quite a few people in A-merry-ca were fine with Iraq. But not the handling of Katrina. The republicans were supposed to be the grown up party, the folks who could always be counted on to be competent. The democrats, on the other hand, are the ones with the great ideas, but they can never carry them out. Katrina changed all of that. It showed the rest of the country that republicans were just as incompetent and clueless when it comes to getting things done as the democrats were. It showed us that in spite of all of his rhetoric, the frat boy only cared about hooking up his incompetent ass friends. As a result, many of you started looking at the Iraq war from a totally different perspective. If this man couldn't take care of a crisis in our own back yard, how can we trust him to prosecute a trillion dollar war to influence foreign policy? The frat boy never recovered from Katrina, and even the clowns on FOX were forced to acknowledge that he blew it.

Now, almost three years later, as we count down the days for this human version of Katrina to leave office, we are faced with yet another storm. It's as if god is saying; I am going to give you one more hit frat boy, because you fucked up the first one so bad. And for good measure, I am going to bring it right in the middle of your parties' convention. Let's see all those praying folks pray their way out of this one. I know they were praying for the rain to hit Obama on his big night, but I had some different plans.

Anyway, let's keep the folks on the Gulf Coast in our thoughts. And let's hope that they ride this one out without any loss of life or serious injuries.

As for the folks up in St. Paul; I wish them all a safe trip home.......

*Thanks for the correction Liz :)
