Taking off the hoods.

Let me start this post by saying I wish Anonymous Hackers good luck with their effort to expose the names of KKK members all over the country. It should be interesting to see some of the names on their list if they are successful.

"In November 2014, during the wait for a grand jury's decision whether to indict police officer Darren Wilson for the killing of Michael Brown, the KKK reportedly threatened to attack Ferguson protesters. Anonymous then commandeered a KKK-linked Twitter account and exposed social media accounts it said belonged to KKK members.

Now, nearly a year after the grand jury elected not to indict Wilson, Anonymous wrote in a Wednesday blog post that it "will release, to the global public, the identities of up to 1000 klan members, Ghoul Squad affiliates and other close associates of various factions of the Ku Klux Klan across the Unites States."'

Oh ohhh.

I always thought that if you are going to be a member of a group like the KKK you should do so openly.

We need to know where you stand on the issues and have an open debate about our different positions as it relates to how the races should interact going forward in this country. Granted, your group has taken a public relations hit of late, but it's never too late to try and redeem yourself.

Everyone believes that the klan is made up of a bunch of dumb rednecks, maybe if some of their members removed their hoods and come clean it would reveal more "educated main stream" type folks. Heck there might even be a presidential candidate or two among the membership.

Finally, a word from one of my favorite black conservatives and FOX VIEWS pundits.

"Conservative Sheriff Warns That #BlackLivesMatter Will ‘Join Forces with ISIS’         

  

Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke said on Twitter Tuesday that #BlackLivesMatter and ISIS would soon be working together to destroy America. 

Clarke is a frequent Fox News guest and a harsh critic of the #BlackLivesMatter protest group, calling them “garbage” and “subhuman creeps”. Liberals have responded in kind, with New York Daily News columnist Shaun King calling him an “Uncle Tom” and “a sellout” Monday."

No Shaun, Sheriff David is worse than an "Uncle Tom".  Sheriff David is a "slave -catcher." He is the type of Negro Mr. Charlie would ask to whip the slaves when he got too tired to do it himself, and he would be all too glad to oblige.

Anyway, what's amazing is that this man actually got elected to be the mayor of Milwaukee. Forget political  views for minute, the man is just plain stupid. "Black Lives Matter will join forces with Isis"? My lord! Somebody check for hoods in that man's closet.

Hunting Walter.

"Section 242 of Title 18 makes it a crime for a person acting under color of any law to willfully deprive a person of a right or privilege protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States. For the purpose of Section 242, acts under "color of law" include acts not only done by federal, state, or local officials within the their lawful authority, but also acts done beyond the bounds of that official's lawful authority, if the acts are done while the official is purporting to or pretending to act in the performance of his/her official duties. Persons acting under color of law within the meaning of this statute include police officers, prisons guards and other law enforcement officials, as well as judges, care providers in public health facilities, and others who are acting as public officials. It is not necessary that the crime be motivated by animus toward the race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status or national origin of the victim. The offense is punishable by a range of imprisonment up to a life term, or the death penalty, depending upon the circumstances of the crime, and the resulting injury, if any."


According to actor  Isaiah Washington, Negroes should learn to "adopt" when being confronted or harassed by the police while trying to make it on a daily basis here in America.

He should tell that to Walter Scott....Oh wait, he can't; Walter Scott is dead.

He is dead because that police officer who pulled the trigger and took his life thought that he would be able to kill a human being without consequence. It's as if he was out hunting deer with his buddies.

 He can thank a climate that has been created in this country that says it's cool to use deadly force against black men when acting under the color of law.

Elected local officials have contributed to this climate because the people who elect them more often or not  view black men as dangerous predators.

The killing of Walter Scott was hard to watch, but it wasn't surprising.  Seeing the actions of the black police officer (Clarence Habersham) who arrived on the scene soon after the killing was hard to watch as well, but, sadly, it was  not surprising.

The officers said that they tried to give him CPR, but the video clearly shows that they did not.

The video showed a disturbing sequence of events even after the killing. This should be troubling to every person with a conscience who respects the rule of law.   

That video has done a lot to vindicate the folks who have been saying all along that black lives do not matter to certain people.  The same people who were so sure that Michael Brown deserved to be killed by Darren Wilson.

But it won't change much. This too shall pass.

Walter Scott will be buried. His family will get paid by the city. And the police officer who killed him will have his fate decided by the citizens of the community in which he lives.

America will move on to the next news story, and years from now we will be trying to remember if Walter Scott was just some guy who played in the NFL.







   

"I can't breathe".

Those were Eric Garner's last words.


I wonder how many of the  right- wing nuts and their apologists (I see you Charles Barkley) will say that Eric Garner was a "thug" as they did with Michael Brown.


My man was selling cigarettes and trying to get his hustle on to feed his family and he ended up dead.


I am curious as to what good body cameras on police officers will do when we all watched Eric Garner being choked to death by an overzealous police officer in live and living color. (Pun intended.)


Although I suppose that if the event was not filmed we would be hearing, as we did with Darren Wilson, that this evil terrifying black monster had to be taken down before he killed all the police officers at the scene.


Now, understandably, black folks and people of conscience are upset at this latest instance of injustice in these divided states of America. I mean isn't it ironic that the man who filmed the killing of Eric Garner was indicted but his actual killer was not?


On the other side of the divide are people like the United States congressman who declared that Mr. Garner caused his own death because he is "obese." This kind of reaction is typical of certain people here in America. It's never the fault of the police officer when it involves a black defendant. Because, well, we know how those blacks are. Even when they are being killed by police officers who are unfit to do their jobs.


"Earlier, Garner’s visibly upset stepfather, Benjamin Carr, said the grand jury decision “don’t make no sense.”


“'I mean, I don't understand it,' he said. 'They lock a man up for a damn dog fight. They don't lock this son-of-a-bitch up for killing somebody.”'


Well Mr. Carr, one is a black man and the other is a dog. If you understand the pecking order of lives in America it makes a lot of sense.














 










 


 

Cha-ching for Darren Wilson, and a "lone wolf" terrorist strikes in Texas.

First, I want to say that I like the fact that folks tried to organize a boycott of large box stores today. I say tried because we all know that crass commercialism is what drives America, and getting people (especially some of you Negroes) to boycott anything that involves getting meaningless things at a discount is a challenge.




Still, it's a start, and it's just one of the many positive things that I see coming out of the tragedy that took place in Ferguson, Missouri. The people have to take action, because our leaders can't. Or worse, they won't.




My twitter line is full of positive stories of social activism, and all across the country young people are taking to the streets to say, enough.  


All of this, of course, will not have an impact on Darren Wilson, the man whose depraved and "color aroused" actions led to the latest case of the unjustified killing of a young man for all the world to see. Mr. Wilson will be too busy counting his money. He allegedly got $500,000.00 from ABC News to give them an exclusive sit down, and from all accounts his supporters have raised almost a million more dollars for helping America rid herself of another one of those pesky Negroes. (The killing young Negro male business is good these days.) Predictably, Wilson has quit his job. Who needs a policeman's salary and a derisory pension when you can make millions from the pockets of your fellow Neanderthals and from being a regular guest on FOX NEWS?


Finally, speaking of Neanderthals, in what is clearly an act of domestic terrorism, a "lone wolf" terrorist ----not of the Muslim kind---- just tried to make a statement in Austin,Texas.


 "A man shot up a federal courthouse and a Mexican consulate -- which he also seemingly tried to set ablaze -- in Austin, Texas, early Friday before being shot dead outside police headquarters, that city's police chief said.

The shooter fired "over 100 rounds" in a roughly 10-minute span, but he did not hit anyone even though the bullets ricocheted at a typically busy time in downtown Austin, when streets fill with people after bars close for the night.

"This Thanksgiving ... weekend, I give thanks that no one but the suspect is injured or deceased," police Chief Art Acevedo said. "That's something that we should all take a lot of comfort in."

The shooter was identified in a tweet from Austin police as 49-year-old Larry McQuilliam.... 

...Authorities have not offered a motive, but the police chief said that the shooter's "violent anti-government behavior" -- as evidenced by attacking buildings that belong to Mexico's government, the U.S. government and, in the police headquarters, the city government -- may have come from ongoing and often vitriolic debates in society.

"Our political discourse has become very heated and sometimes very angry, and sometimes the rhetoric is not healthy," Acevedo said, adding that the divisive immigration debate "comes to mind," given that the federal courthouse and Mexican Consulate were targeted. "I would venture, based on my training and experience, that the political rhetoric might have fed into some of this."' [Source]

Larry is just acting out what many like him are feeling these days. Thankfully the only person who lost their life today was Larry.

But Larry had to get his motivation from somewhere, and there are other Larry McQuilliams out there getting their motivation to do evil things from similar places as you read this post. 

  

Ferguson verdict in black and white.

The right wing "race baiters" are still celebrating the decision not to prosecute Darren Wilson. I suppose that this should have been expected given the fact that we are talking about a white police officer killing an unarmed black teen.


This is, after all, a black vs. white issue now. It shouldn't be this way. It should be a right versus wrong issue. But sadly, this is where we are in America. How you feel about the killing of Michael Brown depends largely on the color of your skin.


Wingnuts like Ben Carson blame the president for this. “I actually believe that things were better before this president was elected. And I think that things have gotten worse because of his unusual emphasis on race.” Duh! But I submit to you, my Seventh Day Adventist friend, that race relations got worse because Barack Obama was elected president. Only someone blinded by their ideological ignorance and cluelessness could not see this.


But back to Darren Wilson. He is now at the start of his rehabilitation tour and ABC won the lottery to get the first interview. (A FOX NEWS gig is sure to follow.)


In that interview he said some interesting things: Michael Brown was "aggressive and combative" and he was worried that he would "kill" him. He also said that he has a "clean conscience" because he did his job right.


In Darren Wilson's mind, Michael Brown had to be killed, because he was  "aggressive" and he (Wilson) was looking into the face of a "demon". 


The grand jury believed Darren Wilson, and not the witnesses who gave conflicting accounts. It was truly a jury of his peers. 


"What did happen, according to Wilson: Brown stopped running at a light pole and confronted Wilson. The cop said he yelled at the youth to get on the ground. “When he looked at me, he made like a grunting, like aggravated sound and he starts, he turns and he’s coming back towards me,” Wilson recalled. “His first step is coming towards me, he kind of does like a stutter step to start running. When he does that, his left hand goes in a fist and goes to his side, his right one goes under his shirt in his waistband and he starts running at me.”
Wilson opened fire. He missed a few times. But he also hit Brown, who “flinched.” What Wilson remembered as “tunnel vision” came over him, homing in on Brown’s right hand in his waistband. “I’m just focusing on that hand when I was shooting.” But the shots, Wilson said, didn’t deter Brown, who continued to charge toward him.


“He was almost bulking up to run through the shots, like it was making him mad that I’m shooting him,” Wilson said. “And the face that he had was looking straight through me, like I wasn’t even there, I wasn’t even anything in his way.”


Wilson took aim at Brown’s head for the shot that would kill the unarmed teen. “When he fell, he fell on his face,” Wilson recalled. “I remember his feet coming up … and then they rested.”


Then came the end.


“When it went into him,” Wilson said, “the demeanor on his face went blank, the aggression was gone, it was gone, I mean I knew he stopped, the threat was stopped.”' [Source]


Yes, the "threat was stopped". But did it take killing an unarmed teen to stop it?


Sadly, I am starting to see a pattern here.

Ben Stein's brain takes the day off.

When I first heard the comments attributed to Ben Stein (Bueller?... Bueller?... Bueller? ), I must admit that I thought that it was satire. But sadly for my conservative friends, it would appear that he was serious.


"It’s been almost three weeks since unarmed teenager Michael Brown was shot and killed by police officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri and we are just now finding out what the teacher from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off has to say about the whole thing. According to actor turned conservative commentator Ben Stein, Brown was armed, with his “incredibly strong, scary self.”


“The idea of calling this poor, young man unarmed when he was 6’4″, 300 pounds, full of muscles and was apparently, according to what I read in The New York Times, on marijuana — to call him unarmed is like calling Sonny Liston unarmed, or Cassius Clay unarmed,” Stein told NewsMax’s Steve Malzberg on Wednesday. “He wasn’t unarmed. He was armed with his incredibly strong, scary self.”


If by “armed” Stein means Brown had arms, like Sonny Liston, Muhammad Ali and nearly every other human, then that is one thing. But in this context, “armed” usually means holding a firearm, something that could definitely be said of Officer Wilson, but not of Brown.


Moments later, Stein said that we as a country have moved from “lynching” of African-Americans to similar “lynchings” of police, as evidenced by Attorney General Eric Holder weighing in on the case. And, he also seems to think that George Zimmerman was a “policeman.”" [Source]


Man, how many dumb racist things can you say in one interview?


And to think that folks on the right get mad when they are painted as clueless racists. Well they are painted that way because of the musings of great conservative thinkers like Ben Stein.


Speaking of clueless racists, I love the Charles Blow takedown of FOX VIEWS personality, Bill O'Reilly.


Bill does not seem to think that there is such a thing as "white privilege."


"Blow begins by quoting O’Reilly:

“Last night on ‘The Factor,’ Megyn Kelly and I debated the concept of white privilege whereby some believe that if you are Caucasian you have inherent advantages in America. ‘Talking Points’ does not, does not believe in white privilege. However, there is no question that African-Americans have a much harder time succeeding in our society than whites do.”

“It is difficult to believe that those three sentences came in that order from the same mouth,” Blow writes. Once you admit that it’s “harder for blacks to succeed,” he argues, then the converse for whites must be “a form of privilege.” He adds, “When one has the luxury of not being forced to compensate for societal oppression based on basic identity, one is in fact privileged in that society.”

After quoting O’Reilly’s most recent use of the term “race hustlers” to describe those who “blame white privilege” for any problems that African-Americans face, Blow concludes:

No, Mr. O’Reilly, it is statements like this one that make you the race hustler. The underlying logic is that blacks are possessed of some form of racial pathology or self-destructive racial impulses, that personal responsibility and systemic inequity are separate issues and not intersecting ones. 

This is the false dichotomy that chokes to death any real accountability and honesty. Systemic anti-black bias doesn’t dictate personal behavior, but it can certainly influence and inform it. And personal behavior can reinforce people’s belief that their biases are justified. So goes the cycle. 

But at the root of it, we can’t expect equality of outcome while acknowledging inequality of environments. 

Only a man bathing in privilege would be blind to that." [Source]

"We are all Darren Wilson". That's what the pro Darren Wilson supporters are saying as they show their support for the murderer police officer in Ferguson.




Well, with all due respect, we are not "all' Darren Wilson. If we were we would be in big trouble.




"We" don't all go around killing unarmed teenagers, and we all do our jobs the way that we were trained to do it.




Still, this is America, and the folks who support Officer Wilson have every right to come out and let their race flag fly. As long, of course, as they do it peacefully.

"The woman, wearing sunglasses, a baseball cap and eye black, said the news media has “shown a strong bias” against Wilson and his supporters. “Many of us have received death threats against ourselves and our families,” she said. “Contrary to media suggestions we are not affiliated with any hate groups.”
She added: “We will not hide, we will no longer live in fear.”'


"Eye black" and "sunglasses"; that sure sounds like someone who is hiding who she is to me. I don't believe the "death threats" story, though. Most of these people are too anonymous for the people making death threats to even know who they are.




As was the case with George Zimmerman, the killer of a young black man is getting a lot of support. ($250,000 for a few minutes work. Only in America.) Much of it from people who are glad that another young black man was taken out of society. In truth, many of them wish that they could have done it themselves.




"We are here to support you, Officer Wilson, and we've got your back..."He has been vilified in the news but his story is coming out." [Source]


I am not sure if he has been "vilified"; she needs to watch more FOX VIEWS.


But as she says, his story (or his version of it) is coming out, and ultimately, just like  George Zimmerman, he might just have the last laugh.


"But Field Negro, what about Sheldon Robinson? Is he getting the last laugh? He is a black man in law enforcement who shot a non-black man to death; that wasn't right, Field."


Officer Robinson was fired , even though he claimed that he was confronted by two armed men. Operative word being armed. But for those of you who don't believe his story, I can't say that you are wrong for thinking the way that you do.


The folks in law enforcement-- black and white--- have not had a good track record of late.




We will wait to see what happens with Officer Wilson.
