He ain't my brother.

So now we are to believe that Richie Incognito was an "honorary black man". I need a break! This comes compliments of a news report out of Miami where some of the Dolphins players are declaring that Incognito had some kind of honorary brother status.

Apparently they felt closer to the ignorance and brutishness of Incognito than they did to the cerebral, educated, half Negro, Martin.

Sometimes Negroes really disappoint me, but sadly, I am not that surprised.

Richie Incognito felt empowered because his house Negro black teammates created an environment that allowed him to feel comfortable while he bullied a teammate and acted a fool.

"Richie is honarary,” one player who left the Dolphins this offseason told me today. “I don’t expect you to understand because you’re not black. But being a black guy, being a brother is more than just about skin color. It’s about how you carry yourself. How you play. Where you come from. What you’ve experienced. A lot of things.”

Ahem, Mr. Player, I don't understand, and the last time I checked I was black.

Yes, being a brother might be more than just skin color, but being an ignorant racist bully is wrong in any color.

Mike Pouncey, like the anonymous player I just quoted, is an idiot. He sat in a bar while Incognito announced him as his Nigga to a room full of people to hear.

He is a classic house Negro.

Now Pouncey is one of the players saying that they miss this racist Neanderthal from their team. My field Negro 101 post should be required reading for every Dolphin player.

Look, Jonathan Martin might be too soft to make it in the NFL, but that doesn't make him any less black than any of his football playing black teammates. The fact that he might be well read and educated should be celebrated, even among football players.

Maybe he didn't belong in the NFL, but the way Incognito treated him wasn't the way to tell him that maybe he should find another line of work.

"As for Martin’s thoughts of leaving the team, here’s how [Anthony] Carter characterized the situation: “There were times he struggled as a rookie and contemplated, ‘Am I cut out for this?’ ”

Pouncey’s remarks are indicative of what many players are feeling privately. The Dolphins locker room is far more supportive of Incognito than Martin, a source told the Herald on Monday.

Meanwhile, Hall of Fame defensive lineman and former Miami Hurricane Warren Sapp said Tuesday on the Dan Patrick Show that Incognito kicked him and called him the N-word during a Rams-Raiders game in 2006 – the only time they faced each other.

Sapp said he wasn’t necessarily upset by the slur, adding: “It’s a term of endearment where I come from.” Warren, where I come from they call guys like you something else: House N****r.

Finally, did any of you see this story out of Atlantic City (I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't. You won't see it on MSNBC, because the victim was white. You won't see it on FOX, because the cops who were beating him weren't black)   It's sad.

The po po gives a young kid the Rodney King treatment and dude wasn't even a threat to them. I saw the young man's parents on Rev. Al's show (yes, the same Rev. Al who never comes to the rescue of white victims of police abuse) and they were visibly upset, as they had every right to be.

Sadly, though, these hoods masquerading as police officers are still on the street.

I hear that Atlantic City elected a new Mayor last night.

I think we know what his first order of business should be.

Well yeah, they're football players, not book reviewers.

Is your problem with this the bullying, or is it the racial angle? Would you care as much if it were Martin tormenting Incognito? Would ESPN?

I feel for Martin. However, I know what it's like to be in the company of Blacks who support the white racists against me.

This is more common in America than Blacks want to admit. It is unfortunate but nothing new. The truth is bm, esp are discriminated against by both Blacks and Whites. There are more black sell-out uncle toms than we are willing to admit. To find another brother or sister who supports their own kind are far less than those who betray us.

The latest report is that the Dolphin's coaches asked Incognito to "toughen up" Martin:

It's the racial angle that will end Incognito's career, not the bullying.

The time when blacks could look at black athletes as "role models" is long gone. Most black male professional athletes today, especially pro football players, come from the "hood" and hold a thug persona in high esteem.

This means that a white trash thug like Incognito is probably more respected by a typical black football player than a "half-black", non-thuggish, college graduate with two highly educated parents like Martin.

The attitude of most blacks in the locker room was probably 'who does that "n" think he is' and probably enjoyed watching the white trash, low-life thug take the "cerebral" black guy down a few pegs.

Many black people are envious of black people like Martin. Once upon a time, most black people respected educated black people (although envy was always there). Those days are over.' The masses of blacks are no longer pretending to respect educated middle/upper class black people. Let's be clear, blacks from the lower classes HATE middle/upper class blacks. Nowadays, blacks like Martin need to get away from blacks like the other black guys on that team. They also need to get away from jealous white thug trash like Incognito. Believe me, there are a lot of Incognitos out there who want to put blacks like Martin in their "place".

According to his own description, he even had to farm out his plagiarism to his staff. He'll never attract the big money now that he might have still been able to even as late as last week. Football is an incredibly rough contact sport! I think the roughest sport besides ice hockey.

I've seen many serious head injuries come into the ER, just from playing amateur football.

AG wrote an analysis on the last thread, which I agree with.

To be in this sport you gotta be an animal. It's pure brutality, shoving, running, blocking, pushing, head butting, hitting!

You have to enjoy this or you just couldn't do it.

My point is it takes a special kind of psyche, and that particular psyche is as AG said, a "warrior" win at whatever cost mentality.

The players are all the same, black or white.

If you can't take the heat, you have to get out of the kitchen.

Sadly in this case, I don't think anyone of the team liked him very much. and he obviously didn't do much to win them over.

Especially by expressing doubt about being in football. You can't win with 'doubt'

I don't think he should have gone crying to the media with the voice mails, cos he had already walked out and away from them with the lunch table incident.

Sad situation, and my thoughts are that there's more to this than meets the eye.

I don't like any of these rough, killer sports, including boxing. But it seems to be 'the American way'

Nope, you are f**king wrong Sapp! Hang on, allow me digress, make an adjustment and scratch your name off of my Field negro list. This is certainly a case of oversimplification Warren. It largely depends on who is calling me the N-word. If a brother says to me: “what’s up ni**a! I understand that and wouldn’t think twice about it. However, and on the other hand, if a white guy says to me, "what's up ni**er Sage (although I’m certain they wouldn’t say it). Now I’m perturbed prior to him completing his utterance. There is no telling what’s going to happen from that point because this isn’t a signifier of endearment coming from a white person.

"Would you care as much if it were Martin tormenting Incognito? Would ESPN?"

There have been many stories about white players who have been bullied, called names, etc, being the obvious minority of the team.

But more than a few reasons why they never gain traction:

1) Nobody gives a shit. lol

2) With American's history, most people see it as get-back and inherently just.

3) It sounds utterly ridiculous for white people to whine about discrimination. As soon as one does, they're bombarded by a barrage of incessant criticism in what turns into the we're-bigger-victims-than-you game of privilege-assigning.

4) A white player is typically a novelty in the NFL outside of a lineman or QB. If they so much as hint at creating controversy, they're removed.

5) Black vs. white discrimination is as underrepresented by media in America as black girls who are kidnapped. Some things just don't fit America's narrative.

6) It's incredibly bad for the NFL's and ESPN's multi-billion-dollar business, whose audiences are mostly white, to view black people as bullies and white people as victims.

7) Insulting terms toward white people, like "cracka" or "boy," aren't deemed by the mainstream as insulting. Whites are typically too scared to claim offense, and blacks are typically louder victims with obvious history on their side.

8) White players are used to it. Most have dealt with it since the PWs and through school, so by the time they reach the NFL, they know what they're in for.

9) There is no white person grievance industry in America which is taken seriously.

10) The "don't snitch" culture keeps ALL people in check. Percentage wise, Martin is an obvious outlier. Playing those percentages, the next 10 times it happens, 8 to 9 are likely to be black players. Society might have Marxist leanings; numbers do not.

And to the post in general: If the players to whom Incognito was speaking are okay with it, then that's their culture. Giving people their culture for them, as in what they need to do and allow, is, in itself, oppression.

Nope, … it doesn’t matter because given the exceptionally racist history of this country, if you have a mere drop of blood from either a black mo or dad, you’re considered black. I'm referring to the "one drop rule." Back in the days and from a legal standpoint, you were black and that’s it. It’s fairly recent that the term bi-racial has come into play. What is disturbing to me is that the Civil Rights Movement leaders of the 1950s/60s worked so hard to eliminate the PUBLIC use of the "n" word by whites.

Many younger blacks seem determined to undo everything those Civil Rights leaders worked for by using the "n" word in public and giving certain whites (like Incognito) "permission" to do it too.

How can blacks have any respect if they can be routinely called the "n" word by whites which was the case not too many decades ago.

Within 5-10 years, it will be as if the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s/60s NEVER HAPPENED.

It seems the response from black America to this sad tale is split between two reactions. One, from athletes and others closer to the situation, is hey, this is part of the NFL culture and it really isn't something to get worked up about.

The other, from blacks further removed from the situation, is one of rage and shame driven by a deep personalization of Martin's humiliation at the hands of a white man. I saw a commentator on ESPN speak about this with such passion that he looked as though he was about to burst out in tears. Commenters on this board also seem to feel quite strongly about what happened between these two football players.

I doubt that this is from personal experience, but more from cultural conditioning that insists you be angry about slights that occurred in the past to other people who looked like you.

Solidarity is natural, and I would expect you to be more upset when a black man is victimized by a white man. This kind of response goes a long way toward ensuring the "never again" condition of systematic black victimization. However, it is fueled more by emotion than reality.

I attended desegregated schools n the 60's and 70's. My kids school system had about 20% to 25% black students. All the interracial bullying I ever heard of was black on white. Schools have zero tolerance for white kids messing with black kids (not intervening would be racist), but prefer to look the other way when black kids harass white kids (noticing would be racist). They actually had a "Discipline Gap" policy to equalize the number of detentions and suspensions among black and white students.

The goal here should be that all people are held accountable for their actions, and that everyone is treated with the same respect regardless of race. As far as this particular situation goes, these are grown men in a professional work environment and this is a matter for them to settle with their employer. The racial drama comes entirely from outside.

Field what is exposed by the Incognito controversy and the black NFL players rushing to his defense is the class divisions within black America. This shit is deep which is why it seldom makes it into the public conversation. Class divisions among Africans in America go back to colonial days in America. Class divisions are even evident in the separations you make here between "field Negroes" and "house Negroes". You base your evaluations supposedly on behavior, but in reality it really comes down to class differences, which in turn drive social behavior.

Class differences are reflected in the current musical expression embraced by young African-Americans in the form of RAP music. At its soul RAP constitutes a complete 180 degree reversal of its predecessor, MOTOWN and Philadelphia styles. These styles embraced songs that glorified the grace and beauty of black women, whereas RAP both in song and video reduces black women to the level of nasty whores. Likewise whereas the wildly popular "Cosby Show" embraced its hallmark celebration of education as the goal and aspiration for the black community; RAP music and videos on the other hand celebrate ignorance, incarceration, violence and death as the aspirational hallmark for the black experience in America.

The mindset of those black NFL players defending Incognito belong to the class of Negroes who embrace the pedagogic message inherent in the RAP culture, i.e., total rejection of the idea of educational aspiration and hatred towards anyone within the Negro ethnic group who desires to seek to further educate themselves.

In this case Jonathon Martin found out that "Ignorance" is definitely NOT "Incognito"!!

"RAP both in song and video reduces black women to the level of nasty whores"

Isn't this a somewhat understandable black male reaction to black female behavior? Not to imply that all black women are "nasty whores", but what reward do lower class black men get for being faithful providers? Do black women offer monogamy for support, or do they prefer to play around?

The de facto situation among America's underclass is one where the state fulfills the role of provider. When women don't need a husband to support their children, they prefer cads to dads.

For a poor black man, studying hard and working hard doesn't pay off with the ladies. It is better to be the hard "Bad boy" type that gets the ladies exited than to be what used to be considered good husband material.

RAP culture is just the young male backlash against the female dominated system that relegates him to a life on the outside of the family. Devoid of meaning and purpose, pushed out of the home, not given any guarantee of paternity certainty, labeled a deadbeat, why wouldn't his resentment boil over into hatred for the women who do this to him?

The government came and took their wives away. These women won't let them be fathers, just baby daddies.

Those who try further educate themselves are ridiculed for wasting time, which, in this culture they are.

The root of this problem is the distortion created when government gives all power to one gender. When it comes to state intervention in the family, women have all the rights and men have all the responsibilities. Just look what is has done to the last generation of young men.

From Fox Sports:

First, Martin was a victim and Incognito was a bully. Now, teammates say they were best friends. Incognito is a respected teammate and Martin is portrayed as a head case and an outcast who's turned on his team.

At the onset, Incognito was an insensitive racist. But not only are teammates now denying that description, they're saying Incognito is more black than Martin, according to The Miami Herald.

In fact, he's apparently considered an honorary black man in the locker room.

Yet again, we see how political correctness makes people stupid. Incognito is the established NFL vet, on the team's leadership council, warrior "sleeves", well-paid and respected by his peers in a very physical and "black" environment. Martin is a rookie, upper-middle class, from Stanford, no tats, cherubic face--wait a minute, you mean I'm not describing a white guy?

What do sportswriters think goes on with these teams--Incognito was up there in the owner's suite, secretly being instructed by Da Man to keep a smart brutha down?

They could have just asked me, or they could have just watched Oliver Stone's Any Given Sunday.

rap has been hijacked + whitened which = C.rap.

#1 recognize this Truth + consistent historical pattern.

then know that not only are bw depicted as 'dirty whores'...so are bm. go black = become baby mama. go black= go running back. heard this madness from white chicks on the fast track back to white land- complete with suburban life, married to white guy named Bill, soccer mom. lol. mum's the word though on all the swirling it up folks did while 'liberated'. the ones that did the most are the loudest with the eew, bm! when there are wm around;)

i don't suppose it would be in keeping with bm calf to point out a lot of obvious traits among 'modern' women hard programmed by gay scripted mess like 'sex in the city'? it might make folks REALLY wonder about the status symbol ww worship prevalent among those most able to uplift the black nation- who prior to integration were married to the whitest bw they could find. now they don't bother to marry white like bw or anyone in large numbers...resources transferred through women be damned!

those married to bw proudly display themselves being so colorblind, volunteer time finds them over in the white, hispanic, oh Almighty ANYBODY but Black communities.

also- putting bm in dresses on the regular on the global stage, denigrates black people as a whole. there is no divorcing myself from this Truth as an awake Blessed Black woman. when bm wake up and see what this fruity outlawed behavior does to the daughters of their nation, in addition to the sons- it will be a new day. not a moment sooner...

it boggles the mind that bm think when their women/daughters are dissed there is no diss of them therein. THIS is just how divorced from their real manhood + Almighty given roles most claiming manhood today truly are. men Provide, Protect, Problem Solve + Produce for their women, children, and communities. THIS is how menfolk distinguish themselves from the male equipment having at birth boys. many boys today also have grey hair;(

keep paying attention and folks will SWEAR eminem is the pioneer+ originator of 'rap'.

women in general need to get it together. morality is woman work as we have the most to gain from it. BW need to understand the wicked game and their places/roles in it. we are the Eves. the attacks reserved for US will ALWAYS be more severe than for anyone else on the planet- that special enmity and all. be clear, all women get it. we just get it double time, from ALL camps. upside: we are doubly blessed as well when we get it together and follow Him. our virtue protects not oppress US. though raping brutes are programmed daily through porn and other vices. which leads right back to Him and His importance in our lives.

because we are collectively unprotected, our blows are more substantial than those of bm even- as they struggle with racism...though self worship + selfishness in general, will always prevent deniers/liars from seeing this glaring Truth as they abdicate + excuse their collective's infidel behavior. enjoying male privilege + being sexist as all hail along the way.

focusedpurpose said...

much of what we see today is the direct result of family breakdown. not only are sons scarred by peacing out/rolling stone poppas. the daughters are immensely scarred as they are unprotected + easy prey for any predator around. oftentimes one's own family contains quite a few predators. sshhh! don't air dirty laundry- keeps it all wickedly underway, shrouded in much needed silence in order to gain demonic momentum. this is true of all socioeconomic backgrounds. though folks will pretend it is a poor people problem...because they love lies like nobody's business. i call these people the strong delusion crowd;(

those blaming slavery for the inability of bm to collectively man up...make my head + stomach hurt. it is a colossal shame + fulfillment of the Deuteronomy 28 curses for disobedience that the lost ones/Hebrews of Scriptures now wear- the entire nation globally. engaging in battle of the sexes = bad for humanity. time for both sides of gender coin to own their stuff.

some of His women are standing up...have been for years now.

I would not have apologized because there is no need to, but if he feels that it will take some of the political heat off his supporters then so be it.

I agree with PC. A fundamental shift in how healthcare is delivered is scaring the you know what out of these [right] wing nuts.

I personally would have preferred a single payer system, but this is a start.

This President has made a career out of not owning up to anything.

Even this 'apology':

Well– first of all, I meant what I said. And we worked hard to try to make sure that we implemented it properly. But obviously, we didn’t do enough– a good enough job– and I regret that. We’re talking about 5% of the population– who are in what’s called the individual market. They’re out there buying health insurance on their own.

A lot of these plans are subpar plans. And we put in a clause in the law that said if you had one of those plans, even if it was subpar– when the law was passed, you could keep it. But there’s enough churn in the market that folks since then have bought subpar plans. And now that may be all they can afford. So even though it only affects a small amount of the population, you know, it means a lot to them, obviously, when they get– this letter cancelled

That more of a "I'm sorry you're sorry". He is the one who decided those plans were "subpar".

He is still lying even now. The only reason it's only 5% is that the employer mandate got delayed a year. A year from now, it will be 60%.

And notice how he uses "we" here? Not like when "I" killed Osama.

What a complete nothing this President is.

Well Field, Football players do get hit in the head a lot. They probably think Richie is black because of their concussions. And Richie probably thinks he is black because of the concussions, drug use, and his concussed teammates.

A lot of those plans were subpar. A lot of people went bankrupt even with the cheapo insurance because the cheapo shit wouldn't pay for anything.
But in the end, it's the Insurance companies fault- they could have upgraded the care for less money than they're charging now. But they're greedy and unreliable.

In response to a question about a country less racist than America, I read:

"Most of western Europe and Brazil for starters."

This is something I find hysterical, especially when minorities say it.

White liberal Democrats push on America the image that places like the UK, SE, Denmark, Norway, AUS, CAN, etc, are so much better than America in terms of race relations.

Black people who feel that America is against them may want to look a little closer at these countries.

Let's go over a few key aspects of these progressive European nations, AUS, and CAN.

1) They're overwhelmingly white -- like damn near 90% white.

2) They're segregated nations, by and large, where instead of the culture accepting minority culture, the white culture instead just feeds it free money, healthcare, and creates separate standards to live by. Multiculturalism = segregated races where whites pay enough to keep people happy.

3) The number of minority leaders in those nations is pitiful. America elects more minorities each cycle than 20 of these white countries combined. Notice how these supposedly progressive countries that are free of racism don't have blacks in power. Anywhere. lol

4) These W. European countries treat minorities like shit in the public eye, particularly in the sporting arena where black players are consistently berated with racist insults.

5) These progressive countries funnel minorities into their own versions of ghettos. The only difference: More entitlements are given. The trade-off: Minorities make no decisions about anything.

I mean, c'mon. Just because those nations don't have the same history of slavery and segregation doesn't make them less racist. These are white countries with white leaders where white people's money keeps people just happy enough not to riot. Until shit goes Greece.

But if that's what people want out of America...
