In the state of VA, if you don't pay alimony and the Mother of your child earns no income, if you make $2000 a month, you will have to fork out at least $338 which is close to 17% of your income. And if we look at the deduction POST tax then the calculation is roughly 338/(2000-0.28(2000)) roughly 23.4%. That is a LOT of money mane!

Marriage is about finding someone with which to share your soul and producing goodness. If both people in the marriage have that idea, then they WILL be together.

Maria, I've been with my husband for a number of years. Neither of us is going anywhere unless we die unexpectedly. Both of us have a lot of familial support and both of us come from long standing marriages and stable families. We've been friends since 1996 when we met in a physics course and from there our relationship developed. We have similar interests and both believe in strong commitments.
