Alvin Holsey is four star Admiral (Shout out to Morehouse College)who refused the Secretary of War Crimes orders to kill civilians in an alleged drug boat in the Caribbean Sea. Good for him. That was Field Negro behavior from where I sit.
It turns out that those politicians who put soldiers on notice and told them not to obey illegal orders from the soon to be defendant at the ICC in The Hague were right. This administration is lawless to the core, and they have been emboldened by a hand picked Supreme Court that is an embarrassment to my profession, and the American people that they are supposed to serve. Their fealty and unwavering loyalty to Donald trump is both frightening and to be expected given who we knew they were when they were appointed in the first place.
But I digress. The MAGA Supreme Court Justices are bad at their jobs, but they have a long way to go to catch up to Pete Hegseth, Here is a man who hides behind the warrior ethos while making a mockery of everything that a real solder stands for. Of course it tracks. He was handpicked, after all, by a coward who never served a day in his life, and did everything in his power to dodge service. Now they use the might of the greatest military in the world for their own personal enjoyment. As if this is all some type of Call of War video game.
Can you imagine investigating a true American hero like Mark Kelly for treason? All because he had the "cohones" to stand up to this lawless regime.
The sad part is the lack of outrage from all (not just some) of the American people. Most of you don't care because you don't think this will have an affect on your life. Until, of course, it does. Just ask all those Hispanics who thought they were making a statement by voting for trump. Now that law-abiding brown people are being dragged off the streets of America and hauled off to ICE detention centers without any due process, they wish that they could take back their votes. Too late. The man propped up by Project 2025 has already declared himself The King. And sadly, we are all just living in his monarchy. We are nothing more than serfs and peasants who can only sit back and enjoy and be satisfied with the crumbs that they choose to give us.
I guess it could be worse, though. We could have been poor Venezuelan or Columbian fishermen who were perfect targets on a sick video game.
