“Chris Wallace quits Fake Noize and joins CNN Streaming Service where he may do some good fighting Fake Noize.”

He and Shep Smith were the only remotely honest on-air personalities on that network, hired to give Fox just the tiniest smidgen of credibility.

But even they couldn’t cope with selling their souls every damn day and being associated with the slime Fox churns out, so now they’re gone, too.

“PilotX, abortion law was written to exclude judicial oversight so Newsom should be able to get the same results with the same langwidge.“

Wait, you mean like we don’t take up judicial nominations during an election year? 😆 Wingnuts operate by a different set of rules where facts, truth and consistency mean different things.

“They’d have to contort themselves into a pretzel to find any distinction between Texas passing a bounty hunter abortion law and California passing a bounty hunter gun law.“

Well that’s easy. Hey-zues likes babies and guns. Religious nut jobs always have a higher power to answer to.

Shit, I remember when Chris Wallace had his ass handed to him by Bill Clinton over who was and wasn't responsible for 9-11.
That said, he really isn't as batshit crazy or dangerous to the republic as Sean or Tucker.
Still not a real journalist, and I won't be tuning in.

Devin Nunes will now become a Trump funded propagandist for Trump instead of a taxpayer funded propagandist for Trump, that is if he gets paid by Trump.

Well, SCOTUS will have to do better than that if they want to somehow justify how some random doofus you’ve never even met having standing to sue you to punish you for owning a banned gun is totally different from some random doofus you’ve never even met having standing to sue you to punish you for carrying out an abortion.

“Jesus says so!” isn’t a legal argument.

I agree with that sentiment but you may want to explain that to 6 out of 9 SC justices.

“The United States is a constitutional republic; we elect the people who represent us. We don't conduct plebiscites.”

Not entirely true. We do sometimes pass laws through referendums. Particularly in positively referendum-happy California, which has had at least two of them rejecting affirmative action. That’s something that should please the original poster.

Granted, there are a few instances in which citizens vote directly for a bill, but this is an expression of individual states. The Constitution provides that states may offer various options in the states regarding the conduction of elections for in some matters. But election procedures for federal offices, i.e. the president, house, and senate are delineated in the Constitution, and also provides instructions for an national referendum as one means to amend itself.

Nah, they know better. Even Amy Handmaid Barrett.

They may secretly decide cases based on “Jesus says,” but they know better than to write opinions that explicitly say “Jesus says,” because that would be a flagrant 1st Amendment violation.

So will we lose Roe v Wade, the Second Amendment, _and_ judicial oversight?
And will the next step be a drug war over the abortion pill? We know how well drug wars work.

Anonymoid 4:15 keeps using the word "Communist". I do not think that that word means what anonymoid thinks it means.

Well, the FDA just removed the in person regulation for it today, so the first round to our side? It will only help in blue states where it's already not much of a problem, but any little bit of reproductive sanity is appreciated.

Shot peening is utilized to complete metal parts that require expanded wear and exhaustion properties. All the while, shot besieges the metal part, making little dimples in the surface. The dimples cause pressure stresses in the outer layer of the part, expanding the metal’s protection from breaks, weariness, and erosion.
