Terror in Tennessee and questions about a death in Texas.

Image result for sandra bland imagesToday was a big news day in America.

One animal killed four people in what appears to be a call to terrorize Americans by those sadistic and savage wackjobs known as Isis, and another animal was found guilty of killing a theater full of people.

This is what we know about Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez, the killer in Tennessee so far.

"According to a resume believed to have been posted online by Abdulazeez, he attended high school in a Chattanooga suburb and graduated from the University of Tennessee with an engineering degree." [Source]

And of course the inevitable....

"I remember him being very creative. He was a very light minded kind of individual. All his videos were always very unique and entertaining," said Greg Raymond, 28, who worked with Abdulazeez on a high school television program.

"He was a really calm, smart and cool person who joked around. Like me he wasn't very popular so we always kind of got along. He seemed like a really normal guy," Raymond said.

Mary Winter, president of the Colonial Shores Neighborhood Association, said she had known Abdulazeez and his family for more than 10 years and was stunned at the crime.

"We're all shocked and saddened," Winter said. "He never caused any trouble. We can't believe that this happened. We were just planning to have a swim team banquet tonight."

Yeah yeah yeah, we also know that he was a stone cold killer.

There was also another important news story today that I am sure will not get as much coverage.

"WALLER COUNTY, Texas -

The FBI has entered the investigation of a female inmate was found dead in her cell in the Waller County Jail on Monday morning.

The Waller County D. A. Elton Mathis said Sandra Bland, 28 was discovered at 9:07AM Monday after she used a plastic garbage bag as a noose to hang herself from an overhead partition inside her cell. Bland was in the cell alone. Her death was ruled a suicide by the Harris Co. Medical Examiner Thursday.

Mathis says there were no cameras inside it, but that cameras monitoring the hallways showed that no one who might have done her harmed went in or out of Bland's cell before her body was discovered.

Mathis said investigators were also looking into videos that surfaced Thursday, allegedly posted by Bland last March, in which she is heard talking about her struggles with depression and PTSD.

But her friends and family said the circumstances of Bland's death, and the arrest itself, just don't add up.

"We all want to know how did a simple traffic stop end up with the death of a young black woman who was just trying to move on in life,"  said friend LaVaughn Mosely.

The family's attorney, Cannon Lambert, Sr, said at a press conf in Chicago Thursday
“We don’t understand this. It doesn’t make sense. And because it doesn’t make sense, we need to make certain that they can get to a place where it does make sense.”

Bland's death is under investigation by the Texas Rangers. Mathis said her mother will travel to Hempstead Monday to meet with them.

The 28-year-old Chicago woman is a 2009 graduate of Prairie View A&M and had just accepted a job at the university, a job that would have started Wednesday.

On Friday afternoon, a Department of Public Safety trooper pulled over Brand's Hyundai on University Blvd in Prairie View for failure to signal a lane change. DPS said Brand was "argumentative and uncooperative."

Hmmm if she was planning on killing herself then why was she trying to post bail?
And she was starting a new job at her alma mater. I am guessing that those would be reasons to want to hang around a little bit longer.

Hey, in the age of body cams and cellphone videos, the jail cell might be the last refuge of the scoundrels to do their dirty deeds.
