Powerful predators.

Image result for weinstein trump images"President Trump, on his way to a fundraiser in North Carolina, weighed in the scandal engulfing Harvey Weinstein, the Hollywood producer accused by multiple women of sexual harassment. The allegations were made public by the New York Times on Thursday.
“I’ve know Harvey Weinstein a long time. I’m not at all surprised to see it,” Trump said in response to a question.
According to the the New York Times report, Weinstein used his powerful position in Hollywood to lure women to his hotel room, where they were subject to unwanted advanced and physical contact. In another incident, reported by HuffPost, Weinstein cornered a woman in a hallway and, when she rejected his advances, forced her to watch him masturbate.
He was subsequently asked by CNN’s Elizabeth’s Landers how Weinstein’s conduct differed from the conduct Trump bragged about on the infamous Access Hollywood tape, which was released one year ago today.
Trump responded that the tapes were merely “locker room” talk, before moving quickly to the next question. (Trump did not make the comments in a locker ro
“[W]hen you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything,” Trump is heard saying on the tape, which was recorded in 2005. “Grab ’em by the pussy. You can do anything.
At least 15 women have publicly accused Trump of sexual harassment and assault. In many cases, Trump has not even bothered to respond to the accusations. In other cases, he promised “proof” of his innocence, but did not deliver.
In one prominent case  former People Magazine Natasha Stoynoff has six independent witnesses that back up her allegations of sexual assault against Trump. Stoynoff said Trump “pushed her against a wall, shoved his tongue in her mouth, and told her they were going to have an affair.”
Trump’s eagerness to condemn Weinstein stands in sharp contrast to his defense of Bill O’Reilly and Roger Ailes, two allies who were kicked out of Fox News after multiple allegations of sexual harassment. Trump said he didn’t think O’Reilly did anything wrong and called him “a good person.” Similarly, he questioned the veracity of the women accusing Ailes and called him a “very good person.” Ailes subsequently became an adviser to the Trump campaign.
Weinstein gave $1.4 million to Democrats since 1992. Some Democrats have donated money they received from Weinstein to charity." [Source]
So to clarify: Democrats find out that one of theirs is a sexual harasser and they return the money that he gives them.
Republicans find out that one of theirs is a sexual harasser and they elect him president.

FOX has a Negro problem, and Sheriff Clarke has an inmate problem.

Image result for fox news black employees images  It looks like more trouble for FOX VIEWS. Some African American litigants are stating that allegedly FOX fostered a culture in that news organization that was not only misogynist, but it was racist as well.

The treatment and alleged sexual harassment of women is well documented, but now a group of African American employees are giving us an insight into how they treated their African American employees who toiled on the FOX plantation.

"Fox News scourge Gabriel Sherman is now reporting that a racial discrimination lawsuit will be filed by seven African American employees this week. The suit alleges that employees of color were forced to arm wrestle for the entertainment of white employees. Sherman appeared on yesterday’s AM Joy on MSNBC to chat about the latest details in the case.

'I obtained a letter from their attorneys that was sent to Fox that described really horrific acts of racial discrimination in which black employees were forced to arm wrestle for the entertainment of white employees in the accounting department,' he said.

He added that this sort of information proves that the culture of Fox is entrenched and cannot be changed with O’Reilly’s ouster alone.

'This is a systemic problem at Fox News that was created by Roger Ailes over two decades,' said Sherman. Back in March, Fox was slapped with a different racial discrimination lawsuit..." [Source]

I am still not sure how a person of color with a conscience could work for FOX, but if what is alleged is true, they will deserve every penny that FOX has to pay to settle the suit.

Speaking of trouble, that fraud masquerading as a sheriff in Milwaukee's just might have some splaining to do.

"A mentally ill man who last year died of severe dehydration in a jail run by Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke was kept in his cell for seven days straight after jail employees cut off his water supply, a prosecutor in Wisconsin said Monday.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that prosecutors told a six-person jury on Monday that cutting off water to Terrill Thomas’ cell was “highly irregular and contrary to standard operating procedure in the jail.” The comments came as part of an inquest into Thomas’ death, in which the jury decides whether there’s probable cause to charge anyone with a crime in Thomas’ death.

Assistant District Attorney Kurt Benkley told jurors that it “became apparent” that Thomas “was unable to tell people about his basic needs,” according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The jury is considering whether there is probable cause to charge any jail officials with abuse of a prisoner.
In a court filing last month, the district attorney argued that abusing, neglecting, or ill-treating a prisoner is a public welfare offense.

“Inmates are at the mercy of their jailors for basic life-sustaining necessities like water, food, and medical care,” the district attorney wrote in a court filing. “When a mentally ill inmate, like Mr. Thomas, is locked in solitary confinement without access to water, his life is totally in his jailors’ hands. The law much strictly require jailors to safeguard lives which are so completely entrusted to their care. Stupidity, thoughtlessness, indifference, and incompetence are not morally sufficient excuses nor valid legal defenses.”

Thomas’ death was included in The Huffington Post’s investigative project examining jail deaths across the United States in the year after the high-profile death of Sandra Bland in police custody in 2015.

of President Donald Trump who makes frequent appearances on conservative news outlets, appears to take a hands-off approach to managing the jail he’s charged with running and has deflected blame for the deaths that occurred on his watch. The Justice Department had been considering launching a civil rights investigation into the conditions at the Milwaukee County Jail, but the status of that potential investigation is unclear.

Erik J. Heipt, an attorney for Thomas’ family, noted that Monday was the one-year anniversary of his “senseless” death." [Source]

Sheriff Clarke would have been better off paying more attention to his jail instead of running around the country trying to score Brownie points with right-wingnuts by being their token black guy who isn't afraid to tell it like it is to "those other Negroes".

The thing is about Negroes like David Clarke is this: Their star will shine for a little while, but sooner or later they will crash and burn. Because that's what these types of Negroes do. They just can't help themselves.

The no shame zone.

Image result for bill oreilly disgusting imagesEven if you dislike the folks at FOX and what they represent, you have to respect their business model. For years they would show more legs than news, much to the delight of their old white male viewers in red states. Now, though, it seems that the gig is up.

It turns out that not all the women in the FOX fun house were pleased with how they were being treated. And, as a result, the head hog was forced out. Sadly, he might not have been alone in the FOX skirt chase Olympics.

FOX recently paid over 13 million to make sexual harassment claims go away in order to keep their star talking head on the air.

But apparently not all of his accusers wanted money, and so there was no settlement to silence at least one of the accusers.

"Wendy Walsh, a former guest commentator on “The O’Reilly Factor” and adjunct professor of psychology, appeared with her attorney Lisa Bloom on Monday to call for an independent investigation of the culture at Fox News in light of claims of sexual harassment against anchor Bill O’Reilly.

Walsh, at a press conference in Bloom’s Woodland Hills, Calif., offices, claims that early in 2013, after she had started weekly appearances on “The O’Reilly Factor,” she met O’Reilly at his invitation for dinner at the Hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles, and talked of her prospects for getting hired as a paid contributor. She said she later refused his invite to his suite. After that, she said, O’Reilly was “hostile” to her and, in May, her weekly segments were put on hold.

Walsh said O’Reilly’s “job offer disappeared the moment I refused to accompany him to his hotel suite. His friendliness to me vanished the moment I rebuffed him.”

Walsh’s account was among those detailed in a New York Times report of multiple settlements totaling $13 million paid after sexual harassment claims against O’Reilly." [Source]

I can't blame Ms. Walsh for not wanting to go with Billo to his hotel room. I mean money can only go so far. If these stories are true, Billo and the old white men at FOX are truly despicable human beings.

Good for Mercedes Benz for pulling ads from his program. It would be nice if more advertiser's followed their lead, but I won't hold my breath.

"The Ladies Man"

Oh Lawd Herman! And then there was three.

Herman, for your sake, I sure hope that these ain't no white women you were messing with; because,if it is, your goose is pretty much cooked.

It's one thing to sexually harass a sister (just ask poor Anita Hill), you can always get away with that. A-merry-ca  doesn't care too much about sisters. Unless, of course, they happen to be taking care of our children. But sexually harassing a white woman, Herman, would turn even your conservative friends against you.

Poor Herman, now he is even snapping at reporters. If only the world was just one big FOX NEWS studio.

"Cain got testy with reporters at a campaign stop in Alexandria, Virginia, on Wednesday, when they pelted him with questions about allegations that he sexually harassed at least two employees while he was president of the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s. Cain has denied any wrongdoing.

"Don't even bother asking me all these other questions that you all are curious about, OK?" Cain said as he left a meeting in Virginia. "Don't even bother."
It wasn't two seconds before a reporter launched into a line of questioning about the harassment allegations.

"What did I say?" Cain, who was flanked by aides and bodyguards, interrupted.
The reporter kept asking.

"Excuse me," Cain said. "Excuse me!"

"What part of no don't some people understand?" he said to himself as he walked away." [Story]

Fortunately for Mr. Cain, the field was not one of those reporters:

"Mr. Cain, were any of the women you allegedly harassed, white?"

I bet that would have gotten a really hard stare from Mr. 9-9-9.

Condi would be mad at me for asking that question. Condi doesn't like the race card much.

"Former Secretary of State and National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice says Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain should not bring his race into play when he deals with criticism.

Rice, a Republican, was interviewed Tuesday for a segment that aired Wednesday on the CBS "Early Show."

"I actually am someone who doesn't believe in playing the race card on either side. I've seen it played, by the way, on the other side quite a lot too. And it's not good for the country," Rice told CBS' Norah O'Donnell.

Rice says she feels the same way about those on the left who defend President Barack Obama from criticism." [Source]

I hear you Condi, and I really didn't want to go that route. But Herman and his friends have been playing that card from the top -and the bottom- of the deck a lot lately.

Of course this all leads me to believe that we are talking about white women. Just think about it; if we were talking about sisters, I bet old Herman would have come clean a long time ago.

"Yes, I made some sexual comments to her, but she was flirting with me." Oh, well if you put it that way Mr. Cain. I suppose it all makes sense. Those black women are such sexual creatures."

So we wait. Because it won't be long before, like Tiger's women, they will all come out of the wood work.

I am taking bets.

Beware of those scary skeletons.

II would like to welcome Mr. 9-9-9 to the world of big time politics.

It seems that my man forgot one thing while he was jigging and joking his way into the hearts of white conservatives across A-merry-ca: Your skeletons will always come back to haunt you. We all have them. But we don't all try to get elected as the leader of the free world, or, for that matter, to become a member of the most powerful "democratic" judicial body on earth.

And so here we go again; yet another black conservative is the victim of a "high tech lynching". The last one survived the metaphoric rope around his neck and ultimately found himself in a position where he can influence whether a rope is put around the neck of others.

Apparently when Mr. 9-9-9 was at the National Restaurant Association he wasn't just making sure that all of us had somewhere nice to eat. He was allegedly making sure that he had somewhere nice to.....ahh never mind. (I hate these types of stories.)

Of course, like most politricksters, Mr 9-9-9 (and the GOP) first denied that he sexually harassed anyone. But then....

"Herman Cain is now saying he does recall some details of a financial settlement with one of his female co-workers who accused him of sexual harassment during his tenure at the National Restaurant Association.
Cain's quotes are being reported by Byron York of The Washington Examiner, based on the GOP presidential candidate's interview with Fox News to be broadcast at 10 p.m. ET Monday night.

Cain spent the day trying to beat back a Politico story that said he was accused twice of "sexually suggestive behavior." Amid his explanations that he had been "falsely accused," Cain twice said he knew nothing about a financial settlement with his accusers." [Source]

Yes, that pesky "financial settlement". Bad news Herman: It exists. Good news Herman: The folks who got the payoff are probably prohibited from divulging the details of the settlement to the rest of us.

But I take no pleasure in watching yet another high profile brotha go down. I don't care how much he jigged for his wingnuts friends and hated and demonized his own people. It's always sad to watch a tragedy such as this play itself out for all the world to see and hear.

"Come on Field, it's not only republicans who do this type of thing. What about Bill Clinton? He was getting pleasured in the people's house for crying out loud and you people defended him!"

And I would defend Mr. 9-9-9 if whatever he was allegedly doing was between two consenting adults. Sadly, for conservatives, it never seems to be that way. If it was, there would be no charge of sexual harassment.

But the show must go on, and conservatives will now start the spinning:

"In summary: there is a real story here. It's possible thatPolitico got the story wrong, in which case they will be exposed. It's also possible that the story is totally accurate, and yet Cain is innocent of any wrongdoing.

There are plenty of reasons, after all, why a businessman would settle a harassment suit even if he were blameless. The final possibility, of course, is that Cain did behave inappropriately toward women he worked with. Let's hope that's not the case.

A few final points: the accusation that Politico is unfairly liberal (made by Jeff Lord, among others) is itself unfair.Politico undoubtedly employs reporters from liberal media backgrounds, including at least one of the reporters who contributed to the Cain story, Ken Vogel.

On the other hand, they also feature writers hired from conservative outlets. It's worth noting they have published pieces by a number of Spectatorwriters, myself included. " [Source]

Those few paragraphs alone had more twists and turns than a Jamaican country road. But I understand the difficulties that conservatives must be having with this story. It must be sad for them to watch Herman go down. Where else are they going to find a a straight talking black man who is willing to take on uncomfortable subjects and speak of certain things that they are too afraid to utter publicly?

Still, they need to take heart, because, the truth is, Herman Cain was never going to become president, and this story might just make him irrelevant sooner rather than later. Which, in the end, might be a good thing for them.

Happy Halloween everybody, and please make sure that those scary skeletons stay inside the closet.
