Finally, I see that Governor Big Hair has officially launched his presidential bid. Nice. He chose an interesting place to launch it from. Watching Rick Perry on stage one can't help but think that he is an anachronism. A man so out of place in modern day A-merry-ca (He wants to take his state and secede for crying out loud!) that he actually appeals to folks who want to go back to that Ozzie & Harriet era.
But I am going to leave Governor Big Hair alone. After all, the man just kicked off his campaign. There will be lots of time to talk about his immigration problem, his Catholic problem, his economics problem, his Gardasil problem, (that's an interesting one, look it up) and, of course, his hypocrisy problem.

Woodrow Wilson nearly destroyed the Republic through internment of dissidents, suspension of rights, the invention of propaganda, creation of the Federal Reserve, and setting up programs for 100% racial segregation in America. The eventual goal was eugenic purification (e.g. extermination or "Ethnic Cleansing," of Blacks, Jews, and Asians,) all in the name of Progressivism. Wilson would have become America's first dictator except for the incapacitating stroke he suffered in 1919, which was kept a secret from the American people (sound like Fidel Castro to anyone?) The Progressive movement eventually became suspect. Just as ACORN split up into thousands of entities but still exists, the Progressives retreated back into the existing political parties and organizations and infiltrated them in the 1920s.
Hence, we are stuck today with the misleading labels "Liberal" and "Conservative". What we really have today are:
"Progressives" (really Marxist/Socialists: Obama and his ilk, Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Harry Reid.)
Libertarians (Bob Barr, Ron Paul, and some TEA Partyers are Libertarians.)
RINOS (Progressives in Republican clothing, like John McCain and Lindsay Graham,)
