Angry people.

I wonder what the rest of us did to make the deplorables so angry. I mean they are an angry bunch.

If you are brave enough to go to one of their rallies you will see what I am talking about.


I must admit that I have never understood where all the anger comes from. I mean, let's face it, most of them are white men of a certain age, and they are therefore afforded certain privileges that the rest of us can only dream of here in America. And still, they are angry and full of hate. 

"Donald Trump and those who support him always say they aren’t racist in the least, they just want to “make America great again.”

But then you see the video below of a truck convoy of Trump acolytes traveling in a convoy from Wrentham to Foxboro, Massachusetts, and it confirms every suspicion you ever had about those who are on Team Trump.

On CB radios, thinking that no one was listening in, one of the truckers exclaims:

“Lynch the ni**ers by their d*cks!”

Another driver proudly declares:

“Burn every single ni**er!”

Then a third driver joins the hate speech and tells the others:

“All I know is we got plenty of trees to hang ni**ers from.”

Nah, Trump supporters aren’t racist at all, are they? Bullshit! All you have to do is watch or listen to a group of them when an African-American or Hispanic person walks by and you’ll quickly discover that they are among the most hate-filled bags of feces to ever drag their knuckles across the ground." Just wow.

 

These people are serious, folks,they are no joke.

 

Now I am really worried. I mean what happens if trump loses come November?

 

"Right-wing radio host Michael Savage has warned Donald Trump supporters to stock up on ammunition and gun for two reasons.

“If Hillary Clinton gets elected she may ban guns and we might need them if the country devolves into civil war,” said Savage on his radio show.

Savage is like several other Trump supporters who are warning of violent revolution. Last week, Trump said his supporters might have to take 2nd Amendment measuresif the election is rigged.

According to Right Wing Watch, Republican activist Larry Klayman said the country is on the brink of civil war.

“It’s a war. It’s a war between left and right. They’ve created a race war, regrettably, between black and white. Hillary Clinton is about ready to do it between men and women,” said Klayman in an interview with Newsmax.

In a World Net Daily article, former Republican presidential candidate Pat Buchanan said a Clinton win could lead to a revolution." [Source]

Polite profiling.

A few years back I was driving with my wife from the Baton Rouge, Louisiana airport to visit her folks for the Thanksgiving holidays. We were heading up highway 190 towards St. Landry Parish in a rental with out of state plates, when, wouldn't you know it, we got pulled over by a local sheriff outside of a little town called Livonia.

Me: Furious. Wife: Eh.

"Howdy folks, you were speeding a little bit there. License and registration, please?"

Me: More furious. Wife: Smiling.

"Sure officer, we just rented this car. We are on my way to see my family in Opelousas." Wifey takes over because I was still furious and Wifey wants her husband home for the holidays, and not in some Louisiana jail cell.

The sheriff, still smiling, and still very polite, started relaxing. I could literally see the change coming over him as he started bonding with my wife.

"Oh,  are you from around these parts?" My wife's accent started changing. "Yep , born and raised; went to Lawtell High and LSU. Going home for some good Louisiana fried turkey." It was on now. "Oh a Tiger gal, huh? Well welcome home. Where yawl traveling from? He was looking at me now sensing that I was the outsider. "Philadelphia". My wife jumped in again. "He took me away from home, I am not sure if I have forgiven him yet." They both started laughing at the same time. "Well you enjoy the fried turkey and the rest of your folk's cooking." He hardly looked at my driver's license or the papers for the rental. I could have given him a card with Donald Duck on it and he wouldn't have noticed. Then he must have remembered to give us a reason for stopping us: "Oh, and you all be careful, we want you to get home to your folks in one piece."  No ticket just a warning from the very nice sheriff. Forget the fact that I wasn't speeding any more than the rest of the cars in the flow of traffic that we were in.

Of course I know why he stopped us.  We had out of state plates on the rental, and we were...well... you know.

Me: You know we were profiled , right?  Wife: Yeah maybe, but he was so nice. 

I thought of that experience as I read about a case of racial profiling of a college professor in Dallas, Texas.

The sister believes she was profiled for walking while black and she wrote about her experience in the Dallas newspaper.

Well, as it turns out, there were cameras rolling on the patrol car dash-cam and  the police chief of the town  (Corinth, Texas) is now chirping that her officers have been vindicated because they were so... polite.

Please watch the video in the link  that I provided and you will see that the police officers were in fact very polite.

But here is the thing that I want my friends in the majority population to understand about this racial profiling thing: If you are stopping a black person just because they are black (I don't care how polite you are being) and you would have just passed a white person in a similar situation with a friendly waive, you are profiling them. It's really that simple. "Color aroused" racialist can be some of the most polite people on earth.

So yes, I agree with the professor, it's pretty messed up that you can't go on a jog in your neighborhood without two police officers approaching you in a marked police car to basically tell you to watch where you walk in the street.

“'When I saw the video, those officers were nothing but professional,” she said. “[The incident] just didn’t lend itself to racial profiling.

“If we didn’t have the video, these officers would have serious allegations against them," Walthall added. "It would be their word against hers. Every white officer that stops an African-American does not constitute racial profiling.”'

You are right about that chief, but every white police officer who stops a black person just because they happen to be black, is profiling. I don't care how damn polite they are.  

"The officers ask Bland for her ID, which she did not have but she gave her name and date of birth after insisting that she take the officers’ picture “for safety’s sake.” The policemen obliged her request.

Walthall said the officers were correct to ask for identification because Bland had committed a Class C misdemeanor by impeding traffic."

Yes, like I was speeding that day in Livonia, Louisiana.

Rupert's "real black", and Emerge magazine is back.

"Ben and Candy Carson terrific. What about a real black President who can properly address the racial divide? And much else."

Hmmm, a "real black President." This is what the founder and CEO of FOX NEWS is claiming that America needs. Forget the fact that his network is responsible for the "racial divide" here in America. It takes some serious cojones for a man in his position to make such a declaration.

Here is the obvious question, though: How does an old Australian white man know what a "real black man" should look or act like?

I am sure that Barack Obama not being a black man is news to Michele Obama. Personally, I will take Barack Obama in the race draft over Ben Carson. Ben has done some great things, and we would have taken him about 20 years ago, but he is a free agent now, he has cleared waivers and you white folks are free to pick him up anytime you want.

But back to the head man over at FOX. If I were Rupert Murdoch I would just leave black issues alone, especially given his network's history with us.

"African-American Fox News staffers find it “very difficult” to work at the network, former president of the National Association of Black Journalists Bob Butler told TheWrap on Thursday.

“I’ve talked to some folks who work there and it’s very difficult, especially when you have all the hit pieces that are done on Obama,” Butler said.

 

His comments come as Rupert Murdoch continues to face criticism over a controversial tweet on Wednesday that insinuated President Obama isn’t “a real black president.” Murdoch apologized on Thursday.

 

But those disillusioned staffers also told Butler, “Look, this is a job, I have to do it, and sometimes you have to just hold your nose and do what you have to do to collect a paycheck.” Butler, who served as president of the NABJ from 2013-2015, said those employees are good producers who pride themselves on covering news.

 

Regarding Murdoch’s comments suggesting the president isn’t an authentic black president, a dumbfounded Butler wondered “what does that even mean?”

 

 

He’s not surprised Murdoch isn’t a fan of Obama judging by the editorial policies of his properties, but wouldn’t call him a racist.

 

“I always stop short of saying someone is being blatantly racist,” Butler continued before saying it’s troubling for Murdoch, who isn’t black, to be deciding who is “black enough.” [Source]

 

Memo to Rupert: I heard Barack singing that Al Green tune, and I think I speak for every black person in America when I say that his black card is intact.  

 

Finally, speaking of black card cred. I am so glad that George Curry is back with his very fine magazine. I met him down in Washington a few months ago and he said that he was coming back.  I, for one, am glad that he did.

 

We will be forever grateful for this issue.
