Another "white guy" endorsement.

  Tonight's cut and paste post comes from a white guy who is endorsing Donald trump.

 "I hereby offer my full-throated endorsement of Donald Trump for president.
After months of expressing disgust at the real-estate mogul and his xenophobic, distasteful campaign, something dawned on me: I'm a white guy.

What the heck do I have to lose in all this, aside from my self-respect, sense of morality, compassion, reputation, family and ability to ever look at myself in the mirror again?

By sacrificing those minor things, my America can be made great again! (I didn't actually think my America was that bad, to be honest, but apparently it is just awful, thanks mainly to people who look different than me. Who knew?)

At a rally in Florida on Saturday, Trump noted: "We have a terrible president who happens to be African-American."

That's an excellent point, and I'm glad Trump made it clear to his predominantly white audience — who held their right hands up and swore allegiance to Trump in a way that didn't seem at all Nazi-ish — that the president who is terrible happens to also be black.

Trump's not saying there's a connection, he's just saying. (Wink to all my fellow white guys.)
But if there's one thing we (white guys) can count on it's that a Trump presidency will make things better for all of us. There will be fewer Mexicans (wall); fewer Muslims (closing mosques, no refugees, general intolerance); fewer weak men with feelings (everything will be SO strong); and fewer women and minorities in the workplace thanks to political correctness being outlawed and everyone who's not a white guy wanting to move to Canada rather than deal with all the loud-mouthed white guys.

And why is it good to have fewer of all these people? Because we (white guys) all know that every out-of-work white guy is a victim of "others." It could be the fault of the president who happens to be black. Or it could be the Mexicans pouring across our Swiss-cheese border, as long as you ignore the fact that, according to a recent Pew Research Center study, there are more Mexicans leaving the United States than entering.

It's definitely not the fault of globalization and America's change to a more knowledge-based economy. It's the fault of us believing the politically correct myth that it's the fault of globalization and America's change to a more knowledge-based economy.

Trump will erase that myth and return all the high-paying manufacturing jobs by destroying political correctness, which is what's forcing us white guys to tolerate all these other people who have made white-guy America less great.

Consider what Rush Limbaugh said on his show last week: "Trump's speaking in ways that men today still speak, when they're not hounded by the modern eclipse of feminism and its supporters. Men speak this way to each other. They crack jokes this way to each other. It does not make them bad people. And I think there's a yearning for it among a whole segment of the population, women, men, they want this kind of gruff, fearless, tell-it-like-it-is persona."

Who among us — aside from women, blacks, Latinos, Asians, Muslims, gay men, lesbians, people with disabilities and people with a shred of human decency — isn't yearning to hear gruff men make racist jokes while slapping female co-workers on their butts?

Limbaugh continued to describe the ills of political correctness: "All kinds of horrible, rotten things happened, with just the advent of the modern era of feminism. And with all of these things like feminism and the other things that came along with it, political correctness was attached — and that was censorship. People had to shut up. They had to stop thinking the way they think. They certainly couldn't speak the way they could before, and all this is like a Champagne cork popping after years and years and years of being shaken up with all kinds of pressure building and no outlet for it. There is more anger and frustration subdued, contained over what the left has done to this country, to this culture, to our society, and it's just blowing."

I should be cork-poppingly angry! WHY DIDN'T ANYBODY TELL ME?!?!
Conservative radio host Michael Savage laid it out clearly in the very first words of his show last Wednesday: "We're fighting for our survival, of course."
Of course.

He continued: "Donald Trump represents the standard-bearer of America's future if we win. And I want you to think about who hates him and why they hate him, just think about this carefully. The deviants, the perverts, the intellectual haters of America, the losers who are jealous of anyone who has succeeded."

Damn deviant, perverted, intellectual success haters. They know nothing of the patriotism of off-color jokes and misogyny, or of the greatness America can again achieve if only we elect a loud white man who doesn't care how much he offends people who aren't loud white men.
I'm white. I'm a man. And I can be loud.

It's clearly time for me to uncork my anger and hop on the Trump train.

Mr. Trump's America.

  Congrats to Donald trump for winning Nevada last night.

It now seems that he is clearly on his way to becoming the republican nominee to be president of these divided states of America.

Seven years of unadulterated hatred for the man in the White House has gotten the republicans this mountebank to emerge as their leader. It couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch.

I have heard the constant refrain of, I don't support everything trump says, but I like the way he shoots from the hip, and I think he will shake up Washington.  He might in fact do those things, but you can't separate who trump is and what he represents from supporting his policies and the influence that he will have on the political class.

"Let's take a page from Donald Trump's book and ignore political correctness for a moment: If you support Trump, you support his sexist, bigoted and racist views.

There are no ifs, ands or buts about it. And this is especially true for GOP party leaders, elected officials and even community leaders.

 

Some have said things such as, "I don't like Trump's history of demeaning women, but I think he will be good for the economy." Sorry, you don't get a pass because you like one of his policy proposals. It's akin to saying, "I supported Hitler for his tax plan." And no, I'm absolutely not comparing Trump to Hitler. But Anne Frank's 86-year-old stepsister, Eva Schloss, who survived Auschwitz, did just that a few weeks ago, telling Newsweek that Trump "is acting like another Hitler by inciting racism."  So when elected officials such as South Carolina Lt. Gov. Henry McMaster or Republican New Jersey state Sen. Mike Doherty -- shockingly a person from my home state -- endorse Trump, we need to ask them why. Do they support resolving disagreements with women by publicly referring to them as "fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals"? Because Trump does.

 

And what about the other elected officials who have endorsed Trump such as Arizona Treasurer Jeff DeWit, Rhode Island state Rep. Joseph A. Trillo or Iowa state Sen. Brad Zaun. What moved them to endorse Trump?

 

Could it be these elected officials admire the way Trump stoked the flames of hate toward Latinos? His labeling of Mexicans as "rapists"?

 

Maybe they admire the way Trump bullied and mocked not one but two disabled reporters: Serge Kovaleski and Charles Krauthammer -- Trump despicably ridiculed Krauthammer, a man paralyzed from the waist down, as "a guy that can't buy a pair of pants."

Do these officials admire Trump's call to tread on the rights of American Muslims using warrantless surveillance? Perhaps they enjoyed his race-baiting story -- lacking in any factual basis -- that "thousands" of Muslims were cheering in New Jersey on 9/11 to celebrate the attacks on the World Trade Center?

 

Or perhaps these Republican officials are drawn to Trump for defending violence against those who dared to disagree with him at campaign rallies. The most alarming incident came in November at a Trump rally in Birmingham, Alabama, when a Black Lives Matter protester interrupted the candidate. The GOP front-runner called on the crowd to get the man out of there. His supporters then beat up the man, reportedly calling the black protester "the N-word" and a "monkey." Shockingly the next day Trump defended those actions, saying, "Maybe he should have been roughed up."

 

And Monday night, Trump again invoked violence in stifling dissent at a rally, telling the crowd as a protester was being thrown out: "The guards are being very gentle with him. I'd like to punch him in the face, I'll tell you that."

 

We must assume that those who endorse Trump know this history, given that the media have widely covered it. We must also assume they are not just endorsing Trump's policy positions but his disturbing sexist and bigoted history as well.

 

The same goes for people such as former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, who recently proclaimed he would vote for Trump if he wins the GOP nomination because he feels compelled to back his party's nominee. Sorry, you don't get a free pass by saying you are in essence "following orders" by voting for the Republican nomination. You have a choice.

 

That's exactly why well-known conservative Erick Erickson wrote an article Monday titled simply, "I Will Not Vote For Donald Trump. Ever." Erickson, who I have vehemently disagreed with in the past, has offered a profile in courage knowing Trump's minions and even fellow conservatives will attack him.

 

Erickson first calls out Trump as a "liberal masquerading as a conservative." He writes that he simply can't support a candidate who "preys on nationalistic, tribal tendencies and has an army of white supremacists online as his loudest cheerleaders." That is one of several good reasons that no good person should support Trump.

 

GOP party leaders, elected officials and community leaders must realize that if they endorse Trump, the rest of us will be forced to assume they are just as bigoted and hateful as he is. " [Source]

 

Think about that for a minute. Erick Erickson, of all people, will not support trump because of his bigotry and the bigots who support him. 

 

That's scary stuff. 

 

This might all be too late, though, because I am afraid the genie has already left the bottle.

 

As America we must now prepare ourselves for the very real possibility that Donald trump could be her next president.

The Blacker The Berry The Less The Juice

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Light-skinned immigrants in the United States make more money on average than those with darker complexions, and the chief reason appears to be discrimination, a researcher says.
Joni Hersch, a law and economics professor at Vanderbilt University, looked at a government survey of 2,084 legal immigrants to the United States from around the world and found that those with the lightest skin earned an average of 8 percent to 15 percent more than similar immigrants with much darker skin.
'On average, being one shade lighter has about the same effect as having an additional year of education,' Hersch said.
The study also found that taller immigrants earn more than shorter ones, with an extra inch of height associated with a 1 percent increase in income.
Other researchers said the findings are consistent with other studies on color and point to a skin-tone prejudice that goes beyond race.
Hersh took into consideration other factors that could affect wages, such as English-language proficiency, education, occupation, race or country of origin, and found that skin tone still seemed to make a difference in earnings.
That means that if two similar immigrants from Bangladesh, for example, came to the United States at the same time, with the same occupation and ability to speak English, the lighter-skinned immigrant would make more money on average.
'I thought that once we controlled for race and nationality, I expected the difference to go away, but even with people from the same country, the same race _ skin color really matters," she said, "and height.'
Although many cultures show a bias toward lighter skin, Hersch said her analysis shows that the skin-color advantage was not due to preferential treatment for light-skinned people in their country of origin. The bias, she said, occurs in the U.S.
Economics professor Shelley White-Means of the University of Tennessee at Memphis said the study adds to the growing body of evidence that there is a "preference for whiteness" in America that goes beyond race.
Hersch drew her data from a 2003 federal survey of nearly 8,600 new immigrants. The survey used an 11-point scale for measuring skin tone, in which 0 represents an absence of color and 10 the darkest possible skin tone.
From those nearly 8,600 participants, she focused on the more than 2,000 who were working and whose skin tone had been recorded during face-to-face interviews.
William Darity Jr., an economics professor at the University of North Carolina, said Hersch's findings are similar to a study he co-authored last year on skin tone and wages among blacks.
'We estimate that dark- or medium-skinned blacks suffered a discriminatory penalty of anywhere from 10 percent to 15 percent relative to whites," he said. 'his suggests people cue into appearance and draw inferences about capabilities and skills based on how they look.'
Darity said it is not clear whether the bias is conscious or subconscious.
Hersch said her findings, which will be presented at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science next month in San Francisco, could support discrimination lawsuits based not on race, but on color.
'There are very few color discrimination suits, but they are on the rise,' she said. 'But these suits can be hard to prove.' "

Cry cry cry! That's all you people do. Now here comes this lady, Joni Hersch, a so called educator from some fly by night school named Vanderbilt. And she is trying to tell us that skin tone matters in America. I mean come on, hasn't she read our declaration of Independence? Doesn't she know that every body in America is equal, and has an equal chance regardless of their color and race?"We hold these truths to be self evident". That's like saying: Da, it's self evident! She must be a communist, I bet she hates America. "On an average being one shade lighter adds up to one extra year of education" ? What hogwash! More of the same, we have seen this fraudulent studies and stories before.

Next these so called researches will want to tell us that it's why we like Will Smith, and not say Don Cheadle, and why we love Halle, and not say Nia Long so much. Come on people, get over this race thing already, it's so yesterday's news. New immigrants coming to this country all have an equal chance of the American dream regardless of how dark they are. Hey, look at the Haitians, don't they have just as equal a shot as the Cubans? Look at the Mexicans, I bet the are afforded the same chances the Canadians are; and they don't even speak English like the Canadians. Well...except the French Canadians. But you see what I am trying to say; all equal!

Thank goodness Barak Obama was not poisoned by the cesspool of hatred like the rest of you black Americans. He sees that all immigrants and people who come to this country and work hard can make it. Hey, he saw it first hand; his father was an immigrant. Well, he did marry a white woman, but you get the point. Hey, Obama isn't that light, and America loves him. Heck, the man might be President one day. And please don't tell me it's because he is lighter than say Jessie, or J.C. , or some of those darker brothers in politics. Hey, look at Clarence Thomas. He is a fairly dark person, and he did alright now didn't he? Although he did marry a white woman. But that's not the point. That dark brother made it.

Look at FOX NEWS for crying out loud, do you see all those black people on their station? That Harris Faulkner is pretty dark, and then there is Juan Williams, he...well never mind him. How about ....never mind. Forget Fox, let's look at NBC. They have that Al. Rocker on, and he is a pretty dark....well, you know what, I don't think the dark look comes across as telegenic on T.V. anyway, so we can't really look for allot of dark people on television. It's tough on the makeup people.

Yeah the darker people are doing alright. As if it's not enough to divide America by race, now we are dividing by skin tone too. Geeez folks, let's come together, we are all Americans now. No matter how light or dark you are, we are all living the American dream together. Forget all these crazy fly by night studies which have no merit, the name of the game is hard work, and no matter how dark you are, you will make just as much...well almost as much- as your fellow Americans. Hey, which would you rather do; make $7 an hour in America even though it's less than your paler brethren are making, or make $3 an hour in some miserable Third World country? Yeah that's what I thought dark person, you will take America, even if it means slightly less pay than your lighter comrades.

So stop complaining, enjoy America, and all she has to offer. Watch FOX NEWS, pledge your allegiance to the flag, go to church on a regular basis and pay your taxes. Then it won't matter how dark you are, you will still be on your way to becoming a real American, just like all the lighter people.
