The Wingnuts Are Coming!!

Congrats to the tan-man; it looks like he will be taking over from Lady Pelosi as the speaker of the house. That sound you hear is country and western music while red state A-merry-ca dances on the O man's metaphoric grave.

We are an impatient lot we A-merry-cans; his O ness wasn't moving fast enough to undo eight years of W, so his party had to pay. And pay they did. As of the field writing this post, the repubs already have a fifty seat pick up in the house, and they are three up in the senate. (Congrats to Tim Scott. Being the first black repub elected from the south since reconstruction is a big deal.) Here in Pistolvania it's still too close to call in all the major races. --It looks like some of you Negroes in Philly actually came out and voted, so it's not a runaway for the R's just yet.

Rand Paul is a projected winner. And so is the hottest thing out of Cuba since cigars; Macro Rubio. -He is the new darling of the wingnut crowd.- They are both already planning to change Washington as we know it. Good luck with that. (Thank god the voting rights act was already renewed) And, as was to be expected, the Wicked Witch of Delaware went down. Apparently she wasn't like enough of us. Former Iggle, John Runyan, might win across the river in Jersey (I swear you people in Jersey need to have your heads examined. John Runyan couldn't memorize Andy Reid's playbook, and you are sending him to Washington to represent your interests?)

Still, flashback two years ago and I bet a scene like this was far removed from the mind of his O ness. He could not have seen this coming. It seems like only yesterday that we were all crying and "kumbayaing" each other while we chanted "yes we can". No more. Politics is all about passion, and the majority of A-merry-cans aren't passionate about their politics. They are too busy trying to keep up with each other to worry about something as insignificant as a political philosophy or ideology. Their vote depends on their pocket books and what they see on commercials. And the guy with the most money controls the message. Hell, the guy with the most money can start a phony grass roots movement and watch it grow.

In the next few weeks you will be hearing a lot about this election. You will hear about A-merry-ca being a center to right country. You will hear that this was a referendum on Obama's policies, and that A-merry-cans got tired of the spending in Washington, blah blah blah. Don't believe a word of it. This was about a party out of power passionately trying to get it back, and succeeding by tricking ordinary A-merry-cans into thinking that they all had the same goals. It was about a few (not all) people in the majority population who suddenly became passionate about politics because of the complexion of the occupants in the people's house. It was about an orchestrated campaign from day one by certain media outlets to drive up ratings with phony and slanted stories, and creating a rabid foam at the mouth opposition to an administration that was led by the perfect boogey man.

So congrats tan-man, I look forward to your reign. But just remember; as long as we are still free to speak our minds in A-merry-ca, I will be here speaking mine. The next two years should be fun.

The newest weapon of "mass de-straction".

I am no fan of Nancy Pelosi. I think she is a typical weaselly politician who puts politics before principal. And, to be honest, she has probably done the dumbocrats more harm than good. (I bet right now his O ness is wishing that she would just go away)

This latest brouhaha over whether the frat boy's administration authorized torture is a prime example of Lady Nancy being a problem for the dems. Did she or didn't she know that Dick the devil et al were torturing alleged terrorists for fun? She says that she never knew; the CIA said that they briefed her; she says that they are liars. Who do we believe? In any case, she has taken this debate to an entirely different level, and she has caused us to lose focus of the real issue: Just why the hell was the frat boy and his minions breaking the law in the name of national security? That, my friends, is what we should be focusing on. That is what this debate should be about. Not whether Nancy Pelosi was briefed and sat on her rich ass or not. If she was and did nothing, I wouldn't be surprised. That is what I would expect from a career politician. Test the political wind and act accordingly. And if you will recall, at the time this was all going down the political wind was blowing in an entirely different direction.

But this is a typical republican trick: change the focus and distract. And Lady Nancy has fallen right into their trap. The folks at FOX are having multiple orgasms (what's that white stuff all over the studio floor?) because they have possibly caught a powerful dumbocrat in a lie. Their leaders are foaming at the mouth with phony outrage, and they haven't sought out the microphone this much since the days of Bubba's blowjobs. (speaking of white stuff on the floor. ) Of course this could not have come at a better time for a party that was disintegrating before our very eyes. Now, possibly, they have found something to rally around, and they will ride this donkey (no pun intended) until it's dead.

"I think this is the most despicable, dishonest and vicious political effort I've seen in my lifetime." "She is a trivial politician, viciously using partisanship for the narrowist of purposes, and she dishonors the Congress by her behavior." "Speaker Pelosi's the big loser, because she either comes across as incompetent, or dishonest. Those are the only two defenses,”

Oh Newt, put a lid on it. Save all of your phony pontification for the FOX studios. They might believe your bullshit, but fortunately, no one else does.

That's it, blame it on the Jews.

"I'm disappointed in the vote. ... We've put forth a plan that was big because we've got a big problem." ~The Frat Boy~

Ahhh ya think? Just when we thought we were out of the economic hot water, 40% of dems and *75% of rethugs decided that they were going to pass on bailing out Wall Street. 777 is a nice number if you are playing slots in Atlantic City, but when that's how much points the stock market lost today (the most since it lost 721 points after 911) well, Washington, we have a problem.

So what happened? Rethugs blame it on Nancy Pelosi's speech right before the vote. Apparently it was too partisan for the rethugs, so they decided to give the yes vote a big fuck you. Nice. Whatever happened to voting based on policy and what is best for the country? Nancy Pelosi pissed you off and you decided to change your vote? One clown even blamed it on the Jewish holidays for crying out loud. What the hell is wrong with these people Tell me it was a bad bill, tell me you have a tough campaign coming up, but don't give me it's the Jews fault.

And since we are talking about politricksters being politricksters; It would be nice to see the O man and Mr. Morton get off the damn fence and grow some. Are you for the bailout or not? Somebody is going to be wrong on this, but right now we need to act. I guess the O man doesn't want to end up with egg on his face like Mr. Morton. Leader of his party my ass. He was doing one thing while his peeps was doing another. I wonder if he will suspend campaigning again to go and save Washington ? Do the "fundamentals of the economy" still look sound Mr. Morton? What a joke.

Oh well, you people wanted bi-partisanship? Well, now you have it. It's a big bipartisan no to the boyz with the three thousand dollar suits in Manhattan. For different reasons of course, but the end result will be the same: we are fucked! The Dow is dropping faster than Monica Lewinsky's dress, and if you travel to Europe, your dollar can't even buy you a pack of gum anymore.

The rethugs thought this was Socialism (like that's a bad thing), and the dems had to play populist. (If I hear we have to take care of Main Street and not Wall Street one more time, I swear I will throw away my Lark Voorhies poster). Truth is, I don't like what those thieves on Wall Street did anymore than the next guy. And this is yet another stain on the frat boy's legacy. But right now we need to do something. Maybe it's because I have ties to the market, but this shit is troubdling, and it will start hurting all of us soon if these clowns don't act. Memo to my Reagan rethuglican friends: sometimes you actually do need the government.

I was sitting in my office today, when a friend of mine stuck his head in the door and said: "The chicken's coming home to roost ha field? Now those clowns on Wall Street are getting theirs. Screw them." "Yeah I guess", I said, and I told him that I really didn't "give a damn about them either. But honestly, I didn't mean a word of that shit.

Oh well, not to worry folks, the frat boy will address the nation tomorrow with a big speech. Gee, I feel better already.
*Correction; that should be 65%.

Third party "O" man?

A couple of things happened today that got me thinking about this post.

The first one is that the house Negro living in the really big house, Bob Johnson, had the nerve to pen a letter on behalf of some dumbocratic "fat cats" and big money folks to tell Nancy Pelosi to ease up on all the "O" man love. The lawn jockey with the big ass lawn, basically told Pelosi that he and his rich friends would hold their big money from the dems if they didn't play ball with the Ice Queen. The nerve of that shit; I mean we all know that money rules politics in A-merry-ca and this is one of the most fucking corrupt political systems on earth when it comes to the will of the people ( I mean real people). But when these ass holes actually have the nerve to write an open letter to the Speaker and threaten to take their millions and never come back...well that takes big ones.

And the second one is that I saw the "O" man in a photo op with Michael Bloomberg today (you remember him don't you? He is the Mayor of New York, who was planning a run for the big house himself), and that go me to thinking: Hey, with all due respect to Ralph Nadar and Cynthia McKinney, why not a third party led by the "O" man?

Think about it, it would be just what this country needed. Hell that little Texan with the big ass ears made a hell of a run of it, and he had zero charisma. He had a lot of money, but nothing else. And as for his ideas; the guy made Lyndon Larouche look like John fucking Kennedy. Then there was George Wallace who got damn near 13% of the popular vote, and actually won a state. Now if George Wallace can get 13% of the popular vote, how do you think the "O" man would do? Think of all those Obamaholics, new voters, and independents. I am telling you, it would be huge. It would certainly effect the vote as it relates to the two major parties.

So anyway, the "O" man would be perfect. The guy doesn't have "fat cat" money boosters like a certain Junior Senator from New York, and his contributors average a little over $100 a pop. He could take all those millions of people giving him their last from their pay checks and start a new movement. He could say fuck the dumbocrats. Keep your convention, keep your big money donors and keep your corrupt back room wheelers and dealers; the Obamaholics have money and numbers.

That's what this country needs, a legitimate third party to shake up the status quo. People are tired of the elephant and the donkey. They have fucked with us and with each other long enough.

I say it's time we fuck them back.
