There is no happiness to pursue...

This is a bad time to be in A-merry-ca. I mean forget the fact that skinny neck ties and tie clips are making a comeback. There is so much fucked up shit happening that it makes a brother just want to join George Clinton on his mother ship and head to Darryl Dawkin's planet. (I think it's called "Lovetron")

But seriously, they are killing Monks in Burma; killing aid workers in Darfur, and killing each other here in Philly. The frat boy vetoed legislation which would have extended medical coverage for children. And, thanks to the New York times, we have found out that our King, his royal dumbness, and his regime, have been torturing American prisoners all along. Of course King George denies these charges. But doesn't he always. King George would lie about the color of his own fucking hair if he could.

And finally, let's not forget about Obama's flag pin. I sure hope the republic survives the fact that there is no flag pin on Obama's lapel. If we don't; blame it on Obama emboldening the enemy and demoralising our troops. But what else do you expect from a commie with a terrorist name? Obama should have known better; how can we protect the Republic of "W" from Islamic terrorist if he keeps doing things like forgetting his flag pin ? That flag pin he used to wear must have some kind of special force shield or some shit. Becasue now that it's off, republicans are losing their fucking minds.

But maybe it's all just politics. Maybe they don't care so much about the fate of the republic of "W" as much as they do scoring political points with their base. You would think people would start spending more time trying to pursue happiness than trying to score political points against their enemies. But the more I think about it the more I realize, that there is no more happiness to pursue. Not in the republic of "W". We are too busy fighting the war on terror, and making sure that all our presidential candidates have their flag pins on.

The attacks have just started...now are gonna support him ?

Wait 'till Hillary starts her shit in full battle mode...

She'll make this look tame in comparison.

Mr. Krabs made Spongebob find his name tag. Because without his name tag he could not make the delicious krabby patties that he does so well. Spongebob had to look all over Bikini Bottom, under rocks, until he finally found it in a dumpster. Actually, he had it all along, it was on his back because he had his shirt on backwards.

I know, it is all so lame and doesn't make sense.

Now, the real shame lies in the fact that people really will be distracted by the "missing pin". I have heard more about that damned pin(on the news) than I have about "W" vetoing the healthcare bill for children. I guess though, that we can be glad that this is the best they can do -considering the real ammunition a lot of us are giving them to use these days . . .tsk, tsk

Obama should come out in his next few campaign events waving a giant flag as fireworks go off. For a good ten minutes.

OK, maybe that would piss some people off. But I would laugh. Hard.

Let me put on my tinfoil hat FN,

Just as Obama is going with Feingold to STOP the selection of one of the MAIN architects of BLACK VOTER SUPPRESSION, Hans von Spakovsky, suddenly his LAPEL PIN becomes discussion #1.

Can we say DIVERSIONARY TACTIC?

"Can we say DIVERSIONARY TACTIC?"

Ahhh yes we can.

When they asked Obama what happened to his pin, he should have just said it was in his other jacket. Although I agree with him that the time for blind patriotism is over (it was always over), that discussion will go over most people's heads. All they will hear is that Obama doesn't want to be patriotic anymore.

If that's the way he's going, fine. Stomp on the flag. Make a statement. People all over the world will agree with him, but it's not going to help him to win the presidency.

Meanwhile, that John Melancamp song is a rare bit of encouragement in this sea of depressing news. It shows that the AfroSpear and the afrosphere have created a cultural as well as political moment, and perhaps a movement that is the antithesis of the negative news we're hearing. It's positive, it's about freedom, it's joining Blacks and some whites together like the Civil Rights Movement did. That's something to be encouraged about, because this moment is no more dark than was the Vietnam War, with the election and re-election of Richard Millhouse Nixon and the fall of the Panther Party at the hands of Cointelpro.

After watching the last debate and now this stupidity with pin, I don't know what to think of Obama. Maybe he's going through an off period in the campaign but Dodd and Edwards are starting to look a lot better to me. I still won't vote for Hillary. Can't stand the triangulating, hawkish witch, right down to her phony cackle.

black people when you gonna learn we will not see a black man as president in a country so bent on destroying us.it would be to much,a black pres of a land were we hung from trees.we are the most hated race on the planet.america would rather have the first man gettn blow jobs in the oval office''again'' then have a half breed for president.think about that.
